Chapter 621: Chapter 600: Yes, Young Master!

The servants of the Smith family had always been well-mannered and polite, so when the servant came to greet Jaysen Smith, he only whispered softly into his ear. However, no matter how soft his voice was, Sienna Harrison, who was nestled in his arms, could still hear the servant’s words.

"What is he here for? Get him out of here!"

Jaysen apparently refused without giving it any thought, not wanting to see the visitor.

"I already told the Young Master that you’re busy, but he said he has important matters to discuss with you. If you don’t meet with him, he’ll find a chance to talk to the Young Madam instead!"

As the servant spoke, his voice grew even lighter, glancing at Sienna Harrison by Jaysen’s side.

"How dare he!"

Jaysen’s face instantly darkened, and after a pause, he said, "Let him wait, we’ll talk later!"

"Yes, Young Master!"

It was obvious that the Young Master had agreed to see the guest.

The servant quickly retreated, but Sienna Harrison became suspicious.

A Mr. Scott?

Who also wanted to find her if he couldn’t see Jaysen?

Trying to figure out which Mr. Scott knew both her and Jaysen, Sienna thought it through and finally came to the possibility of Theo Scott!

What did Theo Scott want with Jaysen?

And what kind of important matter was it?

Although Sienna wanted to ask, she recalled that she had made herself clear last time: she had nothing to do with him now and it was best not to bring the matter up in front of Jaysen. No matter what, they had been in a relationship for six years, even though Jaysen had always had Sienna in his heart.

It was already unfair, and all she could do was not to dig up this injustice again.

Therefore, Sienna didn’t ask.

She pretended not to hear anything and continued chatting with the group, teasing Bella Gordon and Roy Thompson. When she got bored, she didn’t even spare half-year-old Nana Jensen from Lina Miller’s family.

"Lina, your daughter Nana looks like you, but how come her personality is nothing like yours? She’s not gentle at all. Look, she doesn’t even smile! What a pity for such a big beauty to not know how to laugh!"

"Uh, yeah, seems like it!"

Lina hadn’t realized it until Sienna pointed it out. Looking at her daughter Nana’s indifferent face in her arms and then at Mario Jensen, it seemed they had a similar demeanor, neither liking to smile. "Maybe she takes after her father, he doesn’t like to smile either!"

Then everyone looked at the man who smiled even less than Jaysen.

Young Master Jensen calmly explained, "A young lady shouldn’t be too fond of smiling, she’s not selling smiles!"

Everyone immediately fell silent!

Sienna: "..."

Did her joke fail so miserably? Why was there someone even less humorous than Jaysen in their house?

When she turned her head back to look for her husband, she realized that he had disappeared. It took Sienna a while to react that Jaysen might have gone to meet Mr. Scott.

Whether it was her innate curiosity or the guilt of her past, Sienna had a bad feeling that this meeting was going to be unpleasant. This unease slowly fermented and expanded in her heart.

"I’m going to the bathroom, you guys keep chatting. I’ll be back soon!"

Today, the Smith Mansion was full of young people, and the family’s elders had gone to the Harrison family to discuss wedding details, leaving the house to the younger generation.

"Madeline, do you need someone to accompany you?"

Sienna had just recovered from a serious illness, and though Lucas Sandy said she was fully recovered, Julie Harrison couldn’t help but be concerned and got up.

"No need, I’m not used to being watched while using the bathroom!"

Julie Harrison: "..."

Alright!

It was Sienna’s first time visiting the Smith family, and she wasn’t quite familiar with the place. However, the servants seemed to be quite familiar with her, calling her affectionately as the young mistress or wife, which made Sienna feel quite embarrassed.

Of course, going to the bathroom was just an excuse. She wanted to see if the Mr. Scott that Jaysen was meeting was Theo Scott. If so, what did this man want to do? He wouldn’t want to ruin her happiness and taunt Jaysen with nonsense, would he?

"Young Madam, where are you going? Let me accompany you!"

The servant saw her leave and began following her, annoying Sienna. "Could you please not follow me?"

"I can’t. The old lady said that once the young madam enters the house, she should be served like an empress. We follow wherever she goes. If we don’t serve her well, we’ll lose our jobs!"

Of course, the old lady referred to Jaysen’s mother, Fiona Reed. Sienna was about to say something more but ultimately decided not to. Considering her mother-in-law’s desire to be the most beautiful grandmother and her own situation, she felt that it was indeed her style.

Although she was not accustomed to it, she wouldn’t be ungrateful for her mother-in-law’s kindness. It was natural for the older woman to be concerned about her grandchild and an expectant mother who had just had an accident.

"Where is the reception room? I want to go to the reception room!"

Since she couldn’t get rid of the servant, Sienna let her lead the way.

"What do you need to go to the reception room for, Young Madam?" Hearing this, the servant frowned. "The reception room is for guests, and you’re the hostess here, there’s no need to go there!"

Sienna was about to admit defeat, her mother-in-law’s judgment in choosing the servants was indeed meticulous.

"You just said I’m the hostess here, and I haven’t even familiarized myself with my own home yet. Shouldn’t you show me around?"

"Of course, I’ll show the Young Madam around!"

As soon as the servant heard this request, she didn’t dare not comply, otherwise, it would mean she didn’t acknowledge Sienna as the hostess of the Smith family, and then she would be condemned by the old lady and the Young Master.

Sienna followed the servant around the Smith mansion, finally reaching the reception room at the entrance.

"You can leave first. I’m tired from walking so much. I’ll go back by myself in a little while!"

Seeing that Sienna had stopped by the door to the reception room, the servant stepped forward and opened it. Sienna entered, her gut telling her that she’d find the answer to her concerns within that room.
