Chapter 591: Chapter 570: Honey, You’re Amazing!
Could the power in the wrist have a fulcrum?
She only remembered learning during her school days that Archimedes once said, "Give me a fulcrum, and I can lift the earth." But now, could it be that Jaysen Smith found this fulcrum during the fight?
Sienna Harrison’s eyes grew wider and wider, and she stopped breathing as she stared intently through the glass window. She saw the leader being thrown to the ground by Jaysen, trying to get up but being kicked away by him, and spitting a mouthful of blood!
What was going on?
Without even a fight, such a big man was defeated?
As she thought about this, Sienna saw the other three men with stun batons surrounding Jaysen from all sides. Their movements indicated they were preparing to attack him together without taking turns.
Sienna’s heart tightened once more and she unconsciously clenched her fists as she pressed against the car window. She fell into a state of extreme tension again.
She could only watch helplessly through the glass as Jaysen became trapped in the middle, with enemies closing in from three different directions. Since the leader’s carelessness had cost him, the remaining three men were no longer as arrogant as before. Instead, they began to tread cautiously while also communicating through eye contact.
"Be careful!"
Separated by the car’s glass window, Sienna instinctively wanted to warn him, but she realized that her effort was in vain.
However, just as her futile words fell, a shocking change took place outside the window. Sienna’s eyes grew even wider, reaching their limit. Just when the three burly men were about to attack simultaneously, the situation took an unbelievable turn. Jaysen’s long legs swept them away, and before they could react, two of them went down. Only one was left who hadn’t yet realized what was happening, and the baton in his hand was already snatched away.
Everything that followed unfolded in an utterly surprising way.
First, the remaining man was struck on the head by the stun baton grabbed back by Jaysen. Next, Jaysen’s punch made several others who had gotten up from the ground spit blood. Watching the slender yet icy man in front of her moving with precision, expertise, and ruthless efficiency, Sienna’s mind went blank in disbelief.
Where was the gentle and indifferent man she knew?
Instead, she saw a decisive and cold-blooded killer. Sienna could hardly believe that such a seemingly fragile man was capable of such immense fighting prowess. She stared wide-eyed as he dealt with the attackers and threw the seized stun baton on one of the men. He then took a pack of wet wipes from his pocket, wiped the blood off his hands, checked his own body, and adjusted his suit. Finally, after pushing his glasses back up, he walked composedly towards the car where Sienna was sitting, leaving the others screaming in pain.
Sienna finally let out a sigh of relief from the bottom of her heart, and her tense nerves slowly relaxed. But before she could narrow her eyes back to normal, the man had already opened the car door and got in.
"Very good, faster than I expected!"
With her head still instinctively pressed against the car window, Sienna heard the calm and collected voice from the backseat, finally realizing that the ordeal was over.
"If I hadn’t moved quickly, my wife and child might have been terrified. What would we do then?"
Jaysen glanced at the man in the back seat, then gently turned Sienna, who was still half-stiff, away from the window. He knew that she must have been scared, so he was extremely gentle. But as soon as his hand touched her shoulder, she shivered as if frightened.
"Madeline, did I scare you?"
In Sienna’s perception, he had always been a gentle and indifferent young master who couldn’t fight. He even remembered her saying that by marrying him, she didn’t have to worry about being abused, because he couldn’t beat her, a woman who practiced Taekwondo!
But now, her reaction...
Was she frightened by his sudden display of brutal force?
At this thought, Jaysen grew anxious. Seeing that she remained silent, staring blankly at him before glancing at the pathetic, howling men outside, he felt his heart stop: "Madeline, were you scared by what I did? They’re wicked people; if I hadn’t been so ruthless, they might have..."
Before he could finish the sentence about taking his life, he was drowned out by Sienna’s excited screams.
"You did great, honey, you’re amazing! I didn’t know you could fight like this!"
After her initial shock, Sienna’s first reaction was to throw herself into his embrace, tightly hugging his waist and excitedly crying out, her little fists pounding weakly on his chest. "You big jerk, you were so good at fighting. Why didn’t you tell me? You made me so worried, worried that those bad guys would kill you, wuu wuu wuu..."
Jaysen: "..."
"Aren’t you worried that if you knew I could fight like this, you’d be afraid of being abused?" Jaysen rubbed Sienna’s head somewhat speechlessly. "You said yourself that you liked gentle and refined men, so you wouldn’t have to worry about being beaten and abused, right?"
How could he tell her?
If it hadn’t been for her saying it first, when she pointed out that he couldn’t fight, he would have refuted her then and there. As a man, not having the ability to take action is a disgraceful thing. How could he have accepted that?
"Even if I get abused now that I know you’re so tough and nothing will happen, I am still willing!"
Sienna cried even more sadly, as if she had been holding her feelings in for too long. After learning that everything was fine, she instinctively broke down in tears.
"Silly girl, I’ll always treasure you!"
Knowing that she was ready to sacrifice even her principles out of worry for him, Jaysen felt touched and warmly said, lowering his head to kiss her forehead, "How could I bear to abuse you?"
