After hanging up the phone, Jaysen Smith picked out a few baby clothes for Sienna Harrison and paid for them. As he walked out of the store, he prepared to speak but Sienna spoke first.

"Oliver wants you to pick him up?"

Sienna gave him a light glance and then sighed deeply. "The way you’re acting, people might think I’m a tigress!"

She’s not that unreasonable, is she?

"Well... I’ll drop you off first, and then go pick him up. He probably doesn’t have anything important to do."

When he heard her say this, Jaysen felt warmth in his heart. It was different when Sienna said it compared to when he had to ask for it himself. He wasn’t worried about leaving her alone halfway through the shopping trip; he just didn’t want to dampen her spirits.

"Forget it, I’ll go with you. I have nothing to do at home anyway." Sienna turned her head and smiled, hooking her arm through his. Even though it was a small matter, it warmed his heart. She truly put him first, so how could she let him feel troubled? "If you keep hesitating, Oliver will say you have no status at home and only listen to your wife!"

"As long as you make money, let your wife decide the rest!"

Hearing Miss Harrison’s caring words, Mr. Smith felt quite pleased with himself. After winning her heart, everything felt different, as if she was always considering his feelings. "And I don’t need any status!"

For a man, besides making money, it’s all about pampering his wife!

"Jaysen!"

The sudden tender call sent a shiver down his spine. Before he could react to the surprise, Sienna’s serious voice reached his ear. "I love you, both our baby and I love you. We support everything you do. In the future, don’t mention asking your wife about little things in front of your brothers, or they’ll laugh at you!"

Just as the words left her mouth, Sienna tiptoed and placed a soft kiss on his chin.

Due to the height difference and the fact that she wasn’t wearing high heels because of her pregnancy, even when she tiptoed, Sienna could only manage to kiss Jaysen’s chin.

Just as the kiss landed, a strong hand grasped her waist and, before Sienna could react, Jaysen’s breath enveloped her. His warm lips pressed against hers, his familiar and scorching breath spreading through her senses, sinking into her heart and blending with her blood.

Lost in their fleeting tenderness, neither of them seemed to notice the continuous click of cameras around them, and they were completely unbothered by the noise.

Only when Sienna felt that she was about to be devoured did Jaysen release her gently, bending down with his forehead touching hers, their rapid, chaotic breath intertwining in the air between them. Suddenly, both of them laughed at the same time...

With their laughter, it seemed as if the entire world was laughing as well. However, they had no idea that not far away, a pair of eyes were numbed by the sight of their affectionate scene and seemed to find it extremely irritating.

"Let’s go. Otherwise, if Oliver waits too long, you’ll be labeled as someone afraid of your wife, and I’ll become a fierce wife!"

Jaysen couldn’t help but laugh at her classic descriptions, then quickly picked her up in his arms and headed towards the mall’s parking lot. It was only after their figures disappeared entirely from the mall that a woman peeked out from a nearby counter.

When Jaysen arrived at Gordon’s Mansion, Julie Harrison was already waiting at the gates with Oliver Thompson. Upon seeing Sienna in the passenger’s seat, she looked at the man beside her and asked, "Why isn’t Sienna going too? Isn’t it inconvenient for me to go?"

Sienna could tell at a glance that the man had asked Jaysen to pick him up so she wouldn’t be able to tag along, so she quickly spoke up to defuse the situation. "With his lousy body, you’re still worried he’ll go find a woman? I’m not even worried about being pregnant; what are you worrying about? Don’t worry!"

As Julie helped Oliver get into the car, she spoke, but before she could finish, Jaysen interrupted her. "You’re just worried about his health, right? With me around, what do you have to worry about?"

Having spoken, Julia, as if still concerned, instructed once more, "He can be impulsive so if he gets too excited, hold him back a bit!"

Although Oliver hadn’t said anything, based on a woman’s intuition about the man she loved, Julia knew that he was going to do something dangerous that he didn’t want her to know about. It probably had something to do with the video, and she knew she couldn’t stop him. He had asked Jaysen to come so that she would feel relieved!

"Alright!"

Julie laughed at him trying to act casual like Michael Gordon but utterly failing. "Stop talking nonsense, go and come back soon. Hurry up!"

Oliver nodded, closed the car window, and as the car started moving, he turned to the woman sitting in the passenger seat and spoke before Sienna could react.

"Why did you bring along your wife?"

"When you insisted on asking her to come, I was accompanying my wife shopping. How could I just leave her behind? I’m not like you, able to discard your wife at will!" Jaysen glanced at him in the rearview mirror, chuckling as he spoke.

Oliver: "..."

"First, drop off your wife at home, then take me to the warehouse location!"

Despite the lack of danger, a pregnant woman should not be involved in such matters!
