Chapter 527: Chapter 506: Take your dirty hands off her, don’t touch her
But everyone who came up here had their phones confiscated before they went up the mountain. Hearing her speaking earnestly, Harvey Dunn also felt that the child’s appearance had nothing to do with Amanda Foster.
"Where did this kid come from? Come out to me!"
The guards at the entrance had been sent elsewhere to keep watch. Since Harvey had kidnapped Ivy and offended Michael Gordon, his base in Andras City had been reduced to just this earliest hideout. Most of the people had been disbanded, and he didn’t want to use anyone else besides a few confidants.
There was no one specifically guarding the outside. His men were guarding the entrance to the ropeway and the basement exit.
"Boss, should I go check it out?"
As one of his subordinates just opened his mouth to say he wanted to go take a look, a little girl in a straw hat bounced directly into the cave entrance, followed by a little boy holding her hand.
Both children looked to be about six or seven years old. The girl wore a beautiful white dress, looking as pretty as a doll. The boy wore a plaid shirt with denim overalls, exactly like a little British gentleman.
The boy was slightly taller than the girl, and their hands were tightly clasped since they entered the cave, both wearing handmade straw hats made of twigs and leaves. Harvey instantly understood why these two young kids had appeared silently at the entrance of his cave without his men outside noticing.
With their small stature and straw hats that blended in with the surrounding environment, the guards would not pay much attention if the kids came and went sneakily. Harvey had never seen such daring and strategizing children in his life, and he had to admit that he was amazed by their entrance.
"You..."
"Didn’t you ask us to come out? We’re out now. How about letting my Aunt Cathy go?"
Before Harvey could even finish, the little girl threw a small stone at him with all her might, hitting him right as he wasn’t expecting it.
"You scoundrel! How dare you kidnap my mom last time and now you kidnap Aunt Cathy? I’m going to challenge you one-on-one!"
Bianca stared with her twinkling eyes at Harvey, who was massaging his hit leg, a look of bravery and helplessness on her face. Only she knew how scared she was, and her hand gripping Roy’s was sweating from anxiety.
Roy noticed that the little hand in his palm was getting increasingly wet, so he tightened his grip on her hand, signaling her not to be nervous. He glanced briefly at Julia Harrison, who sat dumbfounded with wide eyes and couldn’t utter a word, signaling her not to worry and not to get agitated.
He and Bianca had agreed before coming in that their task was to stall for time.
To avoid letting Julia be bullied, while also buying time for their dads to arrive, the best way to delay was to distract and argue. However, this didn’t seem to be Roy’s strength, so Bianca’s sharp tongue would take the lead!
"Who is your mom? And who is Aunt Cathy?"
Harvey looked at Bianca somewhat confusedly, not knowing where this aggressive little girl had come from. He hadn’t even dealt with her yet, and she was already so righteous in confronting him.
What a nerve!
"My mom is my mom, and Aunt Cathy is Aunt Cathy! You’re the scoundrel who kidnapped them! I want my dad to bomb you to death with airplanes and cannons!"
Bianca held Roy’s hand while pointing her fingers at Harvey, cursing him fiercely like a shrew in a TV series. When they entered, Brother Roy had already told her not to reveal their family background too soon. They had to spend time on the kidnappers’ curiosity, studying them patiently until they exhausted their patience. Then they would proceed.
The sooner they revealed their names, the sooner the kidnappers would imprison and torture them, shortening their stalling time. Therefore, they had to make good use of every minute and every second.
So she talked nonsense!
"Huh, little girl, aren’t you a little proud? You dare to say let your dad bring airplanes and cannons to bomb me, does your dad even own any airplanes and cannons?"
Harvey was truly shocked by the little girl’s bravado. A five or six-year-old kid dared to say such things as having her dad bomb him with airplanes and cannons? Had the world become supernatural?
He didn’t know whether the world was supernatural or not, but he was a bit interested in the little girl in front of him now!
As he spoke, he walked towards Bianca, squatted down beside her, and examined her delicate appearance, fair skin, soft and cute little face, and a pair of watery and clear eyes that seemed to talk. She really was a little beauty!
At the bottom of his heart, just as he lamented, Harvey’s big hand reached towards Bianca’s cheek...
However, before his hand touched her, another little hand from the side slapped it away mercilessly. Immediately, the boy spoke in a cold warning tone, "Take off your dirty hands! Don’t touch her!"
Hearing this, Harvey froze!
Such a sharp and cold voice!
A little boy who was only six or seven years old had such an icy voice, calm eyes, and neat actions. He was nothing like a child his age, but more like a well-trained soldier!
A soldier who had spent years maneuvering in the gray areas, never seeing the light!
For example: Oliver Thompson!
Harvey stared at Roy intently and asked, "Who are you?"
"He’s my little brother!"
Before Roy could speak, Bianca looked up at him intentionally and winked, "Can’t you see? He’s taller than me, so of course, he’s my little brother! You scoundrel, how dare you be rude to my little brother? I want my dad to send an aircraft carrier to flatten this place!"
Roy: "..."
His little princess seems to have blown her trumpet too hard!
Uncle Gordon may or may not have an aircraft carrier, but even if he did, it surely wouldn’t run up here on the mountain!
"Yo, little girl, can your dad’s aircraft carrier come up to this mountain?"
Harvey suddenly found this little girl rather interesting. She was not only audacious but also able to brag so much. Her nonsense-talking skills seemed first-class. "First, tell me your dad’s name. I want to see if your dad can bring an aircraft carrier into this mountain cave!"
As he spoke, Harvey began to search for possible wealthy families in Andras City with children of this age. After all, a little girl with such audacity and boastfulness, who was excellent at talking nonsense, must come from a wealthy family.
Ordinary children from average families wouldn’t have such audacity. They’d be frightened at the mere sight of his ferocious appearance!
