How had she not noticed before that this man had so many flawed arguments?

In her eyes, Michael Gordon had never been a reasonable person; he didn’t need to be. He simply took what he wanted, and others had to give it to him whether they liked it or not. Even resorting to force if necessary!

The same went for her heart!

Once he took an interest, he asked for it right away. Though she didn’t want to give it to him at first, now she had no choice!

She had never come across reason in him before, and today was the first time she had seen such a shocking pile of flawed reasoning.

"Mr. Gordon, you really are shameless!"

Ivy Aretha was almost laughing out loud as she reached out to slap his cheek, her laughter causing her abdomen under her large hand to twitch uncontrollably!

"There’s no need for shame when I don’t even get to hold my wife at night anymore! Compared to my wife, this shameless face is much less important!" Mr. Gordon didn’t feel ashamed of his brazenness at all.

She felt like she no longer wanted to continue the conversation with him!

The saying goes, "the most shameless person is the most invincible." Since he didn’t want to hold on to his dignity, what else could she do?

She had to shut up!

Michael Gordon lay down with her for a while until he heard the steady breathing of the woman in his arms. He carefully tucked the quilt around her, then softly closed the door and left the room. When he arrived downstairs, he saw Cathy and the nanny busy in the kitchen!

He knocked on the kitchen door and ordered, "Julia, make two flavors, one lighter for Ivy and one stronger for Bianca. Prepare them separately!"

Home-cooked meals had always been flavorful, but now that Ivy was pregnant, she couldn’t eat such strong flavors. He worried that if he changed everyone’s meals to a lighter taste, his dear daughter would refuse to eat!

Bianca Aretha had always been raised by Ivy Aretha to have a picky taste, and now after being spoiled by him, she had a sharper taste than a food critic. If she didn’t have any food she liked, she wouldn’t eat at all, and that’s something Michael Gordon couldn’t bear.

That’s why while taking care of the little one’s nutrition in the belly, he naturally didn’t forget the big one!

"I know, Mr. Gordon, I have prepared all of Bianca’s favorites and will prepare them well!"

Julie Harrison nodded with a smile. Knowing that Ivy Aretha was pregnant, her mood seemed to improve as well. Their bond had grown stronger as they spent more time together!

Taking care of Ivy’s body and nutrition was a high priority, especially since Julia had a lot of experience in this area. She would treat Ivy well!

"Why don’t you take care of your wife and child yourself instead of ordering me around?"

As Michael Gordon was about to leave, he saw Oliver Thompson walk in with a gloomy face and a slight frown, it was obvious that someone had upset him!

"What’s the problem with ordering your wife? Disagree? Take her away!"

Michael Gordon casually threw him a disdainful look, "You’ve been shamelessly sticking around my house for half a year, and you still haven’t settled things with your own wife. Yet, you still have the audacity to call yourself a man?"

For over half a year, Oliver and Julie had been staying at his house. Although there was no significant progress between them, they still showed mutual respect. It wasn’t as intense as before, where they would clash with knives and guns every time they met.

He could see that Julie still had feelings for Oliver. Though Oliver had done something that she couldn’t accept or forgive, he still noticed the dishes on the table that were good for Oliver’s stomach and also his favorites.

It was clear that Julie wasn’t over Oliver; in fact, her love for him still ran deep. Otherwise, how could she still care for his health even in this situation? Since they still had feelings for each other, what obstacles could there be? Plus, they had a child together.

Subconsciously, Michael Gordon genuinely hoped that their family wouldn’t fall apart no matter what grievances they had!

So from time to time, he would throw in some unpleasant words to provoke Oliver, hoping that it would ignite the man’s determination even more!

"Wife, they’re saying I’m not a man!" With a serious expression, Oliver glanced at Michael Gordon, then called out towards the busy figure in the kitchen, "I think I need to prove my innocence tonight!"

As he spoke, the woman cutting vegetables in the kitchen stiffened, the sound of the kitchen knife falling on the cutting board, her cutting motion halted while she didn’t turn her head back!

"Wife, since you’re not saying anything, I’ll take that as a yes. I’m going to bring my quilt into your room now!"

Seeing the woman’s reaction in the kitchen, a sense of triumph crossed Oliver’s usually cold demeanor, he gave Michael Gordon a grateful look. "If you don’t say anything, it means you agree. I’m going to move my quilt to your room now!"

With that, Oliver dashed off to the guest room upstairs to gather his own bedding!

Mr. Gordon thought that being undignified was his trademark, so how could Oliver learn his ways?

Michael Gordon shook his head speechlessly, grabbed his car keys, and headed straight to the company. This time, he had to take some drastic action and discipline everyone involved. They were truly getting out of hand!

Even bullying the CEO’s wife, that clearly showed they weren’t taking him, their boss, seriously anymore. It seemed they had been spoiled by a kind boss previously, and now they all thought he had no temper at all!

The entire Legal Department was already filled with fear and unease. Ever since Michael Gordon appeared and declared none were allowed to leave, panic had set in, especially for Minister Maria Young. Ivy was Michael Gordon’s person, Skyler Gordon was the young master of the Gordon family, and Alya Larson was the chairman’s person. These two were like the queen and the favored prince, and there was also someone who almost became the queen’s relative.

If something went wrong, Michael Gordon would not really punish them because of his father’s face-saving. But if he did nothing, what would he use to appease the injured Ivy Aretha?
