Chapter 343: 322, Princess Ruby Ross

They had just arrived at the hotel parking lot when they saw people leaving the hotel one after another. Judging by their appearance and attire, they were some of the more presentable guests invited by Theo Scott!

Seeing her walk out with Michael Gordon, a few people greeted Michael with a nod of their head. However, that was it since Michael was often too flamboyant in his dealings and his methods were too ruthless, which led to numerous rumors about him.

Thus, those not very familiar with him didn’t dare to openly greet him - in case he didn’t buy into the pleasantries, they would lose face and couldn’t come back!

Just as Michael opened the car door for Ivy Aretha, a deep and surprised voice sounded behind them, filled with extreme excitement and astonishment. Strangely, this voice seemed somewhat familiar, but Ivy couldn’t remember where she had heard it!

"Princess Ruby Ross, is it really you?"

Ivy was first taken aback and then turned her head towards the direction of the voice. She saw a man around fifty, old enough to be her father, standing still and staring at her back. When she turned her head, their gazes met!

As their eyes met, Ivy’s beautiful eyebrows knitted tightly together.

Princess Ruby Ross?

What kind of strange title was that? She’d only heard of modern people traveling back to ancient times - had this middle-aged man just traveled from ancient times to the present?

"It’s you!! It’s really you!!"

Before Ivy could even ask her melodramatic question, the man lunged at her in excitement, attempting to grab her arm but was blocked and pushed away by Michael. After realizing his mistake, the man quickly withdrew his arm.

Just when Ivy thought that he was coming to his senses and realizing he had mistaken her identity, the man suddenly knelt down directly in front of her!

"I’ve met Princess Ruby Ross. Please forgive me, Princess!"

Ivy had the feeling that her head was being hit by a dog bone, so shocked that she couldn’t help but widen her eyes. Instinctively, she looked at Michael and whispered, "Would you say he’s drunk or escaped from a mental hospital?"

In this day and age, who would bother with princesses?!

As for the title of a rich princess, it was just a description of a person’s noble status - not an excuse for such grand ceremonies!

"Not likely!" Michael said as he squinted at the man in front of him. Despite his nonsense words and emotional agitation, his gaze was clear, and his movements were swift. It did not look like the actions of a drunk person, let alone someone with a mental illness!

This was Theo Scott’s wedding banquet, so anyone present must have been invited by him. He wouldn’t have invited every mentally ill person he knew to attend his own wedding, would he?

That would only lead to trouble!

"You’d better help him up; at his age, kneeling in front of me like this would consume his life!" Ivy wanted to help him up but didn’t dare to; in this situation, her courage was limited!

Michael nodded, then first protected Ivy behind him before reaching out to help the man up: "Sir, this is my wife, Ivy Aretha. I don’t know why you called her Princess Ruby Ross, but maybe you are mistaken? Or perhaps she resembles someone you know?"

"Mrs. Gordon?" The man seemed even more shocked after hearing this. Before Michael’s hand could touch him, he suddenly jumped up from the ground, even more agitated than before, "No, she’s not Mrs. Gordon! She’s the Princess Ruby Ross of our Z nation!"

Upon saying that, the man realized something was wrong: "Oh, no, she is the daughter of Princess Ruby Ross. When the princess left, she was only as old as she is now. Twenty-five years have passed, so it’s impossible for her to remain this young. Yes, you must be her daughter. When Princess Ruby Ross left, she was already three months pregnant."

Ivy was completely dumbfounded!

What was this situation?

When Calvin Gordon saw her face, he claimed that she was Luna Cooper’s daughter and wanted her life. But now, out of nowhere, a middle-aged man appeared, claiming she was the daughter of a princess!

Was her face really that common?

Despite her height, she was undoubtedly a rare beauty in the world - after all, the first Goddess, Lina Miller, might not even be a match for her in terms of facial appearances. Mrs. Gordon was quite confident in her appearance!

"Sir, I think you might be mistaken," Michael said, although his heart was pounding. The old man’s words, while somewhat beyond their scope of acceptance, were clear in reasoning and his thoughts were normal."

Could the Princess Ruby Ross he was talking about have a face similar to Luna Cooper’s, bearing a deep resemblance to Ivy?

"No, I’m not mistaken. I grew up with Princess Ruby Ross since childhood, and I would recognize her face even if reduced to ashes. She was the number one beauty in our nation of Z, and there wouldn’t be a second person as similar to her in the world, except for her own flesh and blood. Moreover, she left with a child in her belly back then. The national teacher even said that there must be a little princess in the princess’s belly!"

As he said this, the man’s gaze suddenly darkened: "How I wish it really were a princess... If only it were a prince, how much better it would be!"

From the tone of his voice, it seemed as if the little princess was not particularly welcome!

"Sir, I think you may have had a bit too much to drink at the feast and are a bit drunk. Why don’t you go back and rest for a while?" Michael glanced at the excited, dejected man and handed him a business card. "This is my card. If you still don’t think you were talking nonsense after a good night’s sleep, you can come to me!"

After that, Michael let Ivy get in the car first, then started the engine and drove out of the wedding hotel.

Getting into the car, Ivy gazed blankly at the man’s reflection in the side mirror, seeing the middle-aged man with some white hair, feeling a little confused.

Princess?

If she were the daughter of a Z nation princess, she would definitely not be David Aretha’s daughter, let alone Luna Cooper’s daughter, right?

Would she and Michael still harbor such deep hatred and resentment, in that case?

With that thought in mind, Ivy couldn’t help but feel some expectation for the absurd story. People are always greedy, and when they can’t be together, they wish to be together. When they can be together, they wish for the blessings of others. So now, she was in that kind of mood!

When Jaysen Smith carried Madeline home, the housekeeper had already prepared the hangover soup. Seeing Jaysen return, she greeted him.

"Young Master, the hangover soup is ready, and I’ve prepared the late-night snack as well. It’s in the warmer. I’ll go home first!"

"Alright!"

Jaysen had never liked the presence of servants, and even the Smith family housekeepers would only come during the day to cook and return home in the evening.
