The next day, Ivy Aretha was awakened by the ringing of the phone. When she opened her eyes, Michael Gordon was already gone, and it was not early. Perhaps the excitement of their reunion had made them too passionate and a bit over-the-top.

Upon getting up, Ivy couldn’t help but curse someone out in a whisper. When in the moment, she hadn’t felt anything, but afterwards she was quite a mess. Her entire body felt as if it had been taken apart.

Just how much noise did they make last night to feel so miserable?

As Ivy pulled open the curtains to let in the broken sunlight and slide open her phone to answer the call, Sienna Harrison’s low, sobbing voice struck first: "Darling, are you at home?"

"What’s wrong?" Hearing this, Ivy’s heart instantly tightened, and a terrible feeling swept over her entire body. "Madeline, did something happen?"

Sienna’s character was even more high-spirited than her own. Moreover, she was born into a wealthy family and had been pampered since she was a child. There weren’t many times when she would feel this low. Ivy was shocked by her demeanor and felt her entire body go tense.

"Do you have any plans today?" Sienna asked, not directly answering her question.

"What plans could I have? I’m stuck at home growing mold!" Ivy had just been discharged from the hospital the day before, and even though she was fully recovered, Michael Gordon still asked her to stay home and take care of herself for another half month.

"Can you accompany me to a wedding?" Sienna’s voice became even lower and more depressed.

"What’s going on?"

"Tell me if you can accompany me to the wedding, and then I’ll explain!" Sienna knew about Ivy’s current physical condition, which was basically no issue at all, so she thought to ask about this.

"Of course, you know that my house is currently occupied by two people who are at odds with each other. As a big light bulb in this situation, it’s really inappropriate for me to stay here. I’m just worried about having nowhere to go!"

The thought of Oliver Thompson and Cathy made Ivy Aretha’s head ache. On the one hand, she hoped that true love would end in happiness, but on the other hand, every family had its own difficulties. This big concern was not something she could solve with just a few words!

Just like her and Michael Gordon, if someone else’s words were useful, they would have already been happily together. She didn’t understand before, but now she understood too well just how deep some feelings were, and only through experiencing and choosing for oneself could one truly understand!

"Alright, I’m coming in!"

"Madeline, you’re not going to tell me you’re at my door, are you?" Ivy asked, finding it even more worrisome that Sienna had come to her door to make this call. "Did you run away from home, or were you kicked out?"

As she spoke, Ivy began to change into her clothes. Once she was dressed, she went downstairs to see Sienna sitting on the sofa with her suitcase beside her, and Cathy making her coffee.

Ivy Aretha was momentarily dumbfounded. Sienna had brought her luggage over - was she running away from home?!

However, before Ivy could say anything, Oliver Thompson, who had been lazily sitting in the corner of the sofa, looked at her with a dark expression and said, "My wife is not your personal coffee maker. If you want coffee, make it yourself!"

"Oh, President Thompson, you actually know you have a wife? I thought you were too high and mighty to need one!" Sienna, presumably feeling aggrieved, exploded upon being engaged in conversation. "Judging by your wife’s lukewarm expression right now, I’m guessing you haven’t been doing what a man should be doing. All you men are the same!"

Oliver Thompson: "..."

She must have eaten explosives!

From the sound of her words, it was clear which man had annoyed her. Fine, he wasn’t about to be cannon fodder in front of Miss Harrison!

"The difference between two Miss Harrisons is astonishing!" Oliver Thompson looked at Sienna’s puffed face, suppressing half a laugh. "Just look at my wife, and then look at you. It seems only Young Master Jaysen can tolerate your temper!"

"Don’t mention him! He is such a scumbag!" As Sienna spoke, she puffed up with anger. Ivy sensed something was amiss and quickly gave Oliver Thompson a meaningful look. Since he was planning on retreating anyway, he promptly raised his hand to withdraw under Ivy’s guidance!

"Fine, fine, I was wrong. I’ll go. You two have a nice chat!"

After saying this, he glanced at Julie Harrison and headed straight up the stairs. These women’s matters were the most troublesome!

Oliver Thompson was already at a loss for how to deal with just one Julie Harrison. He was now pondering whether or not he should invite his own son over to save the day when three of them suddenly showed up. Being the only man in the house, it was best to hide first!

Seeing that Oliver Thompson had gone upstairs, Ivy Aretha patted her friend’s shoulder to comfort her and asked, "Alright, princess. What happened?"

Seeing that Sienna hadn’t spoken yet, Julie Harrison put down Ivy’s coffee and found an excuse to leave: "Ivy, I’ll go with Aunt Zinn to the supermarket!"

Ivy nodded. Aunt Zinn was Michael Gordon’s housekeeper. After Sienna and her mother moved in, there was actually no need for an additional nanny. However, there was a stalemate in the relationship between Sienna and Oliver Thompson, and she had nowhere else to go. Even if she were to escape anywhere else, she would be captured and brought back immediately.

Therefore, Ivy did not expose the matter of the nanny, and Sienna continued her previous work. Sienna had been raised as a lady and handled matters quite generously, so Ivy didn’t find it difficult to deal with her. Sienna gulped down an entire cup of coffee before calmly saying, "We broke up!"

"So, you were kicked out?" Ivy questioned.

"What do you mean I was kicked out?!" Sienna didn’t agree with this phrasing. "I didn’t want to play with him anymore, so I left that broken, crappy house!"

Ivy: "..."

So, she ran away from home!

"Since your old man hasn’t forced you into going on blind dates at the moment, it’s because you’ve been living at Jaysen’s house and claiming to be his girlfriend. If you leave his house and go back, your old man will definitely try to make you go on blind dates!" After Ivy gave Sienna a once-over, she suddenly thought, "You’re not planning on moving into my house, are you?"

Upon hearing Ivy’s words, Sienna’s face turned green and she subconsciously gave Ivy a hard knock on the head: "What’s the matter, can’t do it? Afraid I’ll disturb your lovey-dovey time?"
