Chapter 315: 295, You’ll definitely lose so badly that you won’t have even your underwear left.

With that in mind, Sienna Harrison leaned her head towards Jaysen Smith’s ear: "If you dare to sleep with me, I’ll believe that you may actually fall in love with me!"

After all, he said that children should be born to those we love, right? So we’ll talk about it after we have a child!

In this day and age, no one can be trusted, only blood is reliable!

"Do you really want to do this?" Jaysen questioned with a stern face, frowning as he looked at her.

"No shit! What else would I be doing in your bed?" Sienna bit back, already grinding her teeth.

The conversation was so quiet that even Bianca Aretha, the little girl closest to them, didn’t hear clearly; of course, then, everyone else in the room didn’t hear either!

"Ok, everyone, let’s get ready to eat!"

Fortunately, lunch was served rather quickly, drawing everyone’s attention from Sienna and Jaysen to the table. Ivy Aretha noticed something amusing - all the gathered people today were paired up nicely. Those with husbands had them present, those with wives had their wives present, and even those who didn’t appear like an obvious pair somehow perfectly matched up. Ariana Hunt and Sophia Young were the only two who could be paired up!

"Sophia, what about you and Ariana have a fling, why not?"

During lunch, Ivy couldn’t resist teasing them a bit. Ariana chuckled without saying a word, while Sophia immediately raised her hand to protest, "Ivy, I have someone in mind, you know! Don’t go around spreading rumors, or he might think I’m not straight and never ask me out!"

"Oh please! Before you find someone, make sure your target hasn’t strayed. These days, men are more likely to swing that way than women! Have you seen ’The Crown Prince’s Path to Promotion’? Even the men there can have babies!"

"Ahem, my dear, you’re wrong there. The spirit of the crown prince’s concubine is male, but the body is female!" Michael Gordon corrected Ivy while he served her food, "If men could really have children, I would bear the next one!"

Ivy Aretha: "..."

What a shameless thing to say!

Upon hearing this, the room burst into applause, with Sienna Harrison being the loudest of them all.

"Mr. Gordon, I didn’t see it before. You’re a man of great passion! Good man! In your next life, God should give you the chance to be a woman, so Ivy can be a man and love you wholeheartedly!"

Jaysen Smith almost choked on his food, shooting a glare at Sienna. How did he end up with such a crazy girl!

To lighten the atmosphere, everyone at the table spoke freely and without reservation. After lunch, everyone began to play cards at Michael Gordon’s villa. Mario Jensen and Lina Miller were grouped together, as were Michael Gordon and Ivy, Jaysen and Sienna, and one group was meant for Anna and her husband - though he didn’t know how to play.

Neither Sophia nor Ariana knew how to play, they simply watched.

"Oliver, you’ve been sitting in the corner all day! If you don’t join, you’ll grow mold!"

They were still one team short, and to make the game fun, there needed to be couples. Michael figured, Lucas Sandy, the serious doctor type, didn’t look like he’d be any good at games, so he set his sights on Oliver Thompson who had been quiet and sulky for days.

"Nope!" came Oliver’s very decisive response, as he played around on his phone from his corner, "My wife is ignoring me. I don’t have a teammate. I won’t play!"

Michael Gordon: "..."

So this dude has been acting all tsundere because he wanted help calling his wife!

Michael Gordon spared a glance at his own wife who was busily running around, utterly absent from the living room. Clearing his throat, he finally addressed his game-obsessed daughter, "Sweetie, go and get Aunt Cathy to join us in a game of cards. Using any means necessary, whether acting cute or pitiful, just make sure to get her here. Even throwing a fit or crying is acceptable!"

Upon hearing her father assign such a grand task, Bianca immediately dropped her tablet computer and bowed to Michael, "Daddy, I’ll make sure to complete the task!"

Ivy, sitting beside Michael, pinched his arm hard, "Who told you to teach our daughter to throw tantrums? My daughter is too precious for that! Who permitted you to teach her such low-class behavior?"

"Ahem, just this once! It’s to show gratitude to Oliver for saving her life!"

With that, Michael Gordon ordered the mahjong table to be set up. Everyone took their seats, including Oliver, but he looked behind him at the other men who all had their wives looking on, and refused to start without his wife there.

Therefore, they simply had to wait. Finally, after ten minutes, Bianca returned with Julia Harrison (Cathy) from upstairs.

"Cathy, why don’t you and your husband team up? We’re playing couples mahjong!" Ivy saw that Cathy looked reluctant as she came down the stairs and suspected she would refuse, so she spoke up first to prevent any rejection, "It’s just a game of mahjong. With so many people here... don’t make a scene and dampen everyone’s spirits, ok?"

Ivy had pretty much blocked all her escape paths with that. Seeing so many people around, Cathy, being the refined lady she was, couldn’t possibly do something so disrespectful.

"Bianca, do you want to watch the big game with auntie?"

She asked Bianca this, but Cathy had already made up her mind that Bianca would agree. She took a seat next to Oliver with Bianca in her arms.

Oliver gazed at his wife, sitting by his side for the first time in several days, before announcing like a man in charge, "Let’s start!"

The couples started their matches, while those not participating chose whom to cheer for. Among the eight players, the men were of course experts. Among the women, not so much. Sienna Harrison was semi-competent, Ivy could hardly count as half-competent since she only played the system version of mahjong on her tablet, and Lina Miller had no clue about these things and couldn’t even recognize the mahjong tiles.

As for Julia’s proficiency level, the estimation would likely put her above Sienna Harrison. After all, being Corda City’s top socialite, the title itself suggested that she should be competent. For a well-born lady or a rich man’s wife, mahjong can surely be a killing skill. Considering Julia held both these titles, she was likely to be good at it!

As soon as they started, Sienna began to offer her pieces of advice on the side, obviously forgetting that she was just a beginner herself. Yet surprisingly, Jaysen followed her instructions. The result was as expected: Mr. Smith was badly beaten.

"Jaysen, if you keep listening to Miss Harrison’s blabbering, you’ll lose so badly that you won’t even have your underwear left!"

Michael Gordon was almost bent over laughing. That woman was clearly just fascinated with mahjong!
