Chapter 950: Chapter 929 Why is there no future?
"It’s fine, if you want to scream, just scream!"
Watching her admit her mistake, Morgan Sanders suddenly felt an urge to laugh but dismissed it as a trifle, "I’ll get used to you screaming during it!"
It’s said that over ninety percent of men like it when a woman screams while doing it, and Morgan thought he would fall in love with it too!
Mia Rowen: "..."
Were they actually talking about the future?
"Um... Morgan, do we still have a future?"
"Why wouldn’t we have a future?" Morgan instinctively replied about the future, his face darkening bit by bit, his voice turning instantly cold, "I’ve been slept by you, and you still want to divorce me and let Roy Thompson find you a new love?"
The words from last night at the cinema were like a thorn lodged in his heart, moving with sudden pain, inexplicable but aching nonetheless, with no reason at all!
Sometimes love arrives so inadvertently, just as some people accidentally stay together till old age, while others exhaust all schemes and end up with nothing.
"What do you mean by a ’new love’? I’m still so young, in the prime of my youth!"
’New love’, Mia always felt that it described divorced women over thirty, not someone young and energetic like her!
"Prime of your youth?" Morgan laughed deeply as if he had heard a big joke, his gaze intensely fixed on her, "You are now a married woman, and furthermore..."
As he said this, Morgan’s eyes glanced towards the pristine bed sheet with the bright red blood stains, the bold and bright blood of virginity, like a blossom of a brilliant flower.
Mia Rowen suddenly seemed to realize something, pulled the quilt over to cover that spot, her face instantly turning red: "Don’t look!"
"I saw it whether you like it or not!"
Morgan really couldn’t associate the woman’s current state with her appearance from yesterday, she was even shy, but Morgan’s eyes fell on the woman’s hand pressing the blood stain, his gaze softened, this was the first time, his wife’s first time given to a husband, and he as the husband was indeed very fortunate.
"Does it still hurt?" The hand that originally encircled her waist slowly moved downward, eventually resting on the woman’s lower abdomen, "I’m sorry, I lacked experience and didn’t control myself, next time..."
Morgan wanted to say that next time he would have experience and it wouldn’t happen again, but before he could finish, the woman suddenly seemed to remember something, jumping out of his arms in an instant, and before he could react, she exclaimed in shock: "Morgan, did you forget to wear ’that thing’?"
Morgan twitched at the corner of his eye, then asked, "What ’thing’?"
After asking, he realized how obnoxious the pretense in his question was, but he still asked.
"A condom, of course!"
Morgan: "Do we even have that thing at home?"
Why would newlyweds need that thing at home? Initially, he hadn’t planned on touching her, since the two of them lacked a foundation of affection. But after doing it, he wouldn’t think about that thing!
"How can we not have that thing at home?" Hearing that they didn’t have it at home and looking at the man’s lower body, Mia Rowen felt an urge to spit blood in anger, "You need to know, it’s very easy to get pregnant the first time. Bianca’s dad and mum conceived her on their first time, which resulted in her living five years without a father, so..."
"So, you’re afraid of getting pregnant, of dumping me and then having a burden?" Morgan’s face had turned completely dark, "Let me tell you, Mia Rowen, since you’ve slept with me, don’t even think about leaving me. Morgan Sanders isn’t a man who people can sleep with freely, so forget about divorcing me!"
Divorce?
When did she say she wanted a divorce?
It was just a joke she played on Roy Thompson, he heard it? And he took it seriously?
However, the fact that her God-like husband, whom she had secretly been infatuated with for so many years, might actually leave, inexplicably improved her mood, but her words were unforgiving, "You don’t even like me, why should you tie me down with marriage?"
"Liking someone can be cultivated slowly, you don’t like me either, right? I’ve never held that against you. Everyone has a past, right? Now that we’re married, let’s just live a good life together!"
He did like Bella Gordon, he wouldn’t deny it, especially in front of Mia Rowen, he had no ground to deny it, nor was he someone who couldn’t face his own failed past!
Live a good life?
Such words, to Mia Rowen’s ears, sounded like "since we’re married, let’s just team up and make do with life." That’s it!
What a huge irony!
Mia Rowen’s eyes darkened, and the strength in her hand clutching the quilt began to fade away. She had always known how much he loved Bella Gordon, from the day she married him she thought, it’s fine, at least the person I’ve pined for in secret is now the male lead in my household register, I can care less about the rest.
She couldn’t get his heart, but at least she could have him physically, and as it turned out, once she had him, the heart seemed to matter even more!
"No, it’s okay, I’ll just take medicine when the time comes!"
After saying this indifferently, Mia Rowen turned her head away and looked no more at him.
"Mia..." For some reason, seeing her like this, Morgan Sanders suddenly felt as if his heart was stuffed with cotton, suffocating him, probably because he was used to her aggressive and willful ways, and now he was somewhat unaccustomed to the change.
The woman responded to him with a face of silence, and the room became unexpectedly quiet!
The atmosphere, which had grown ambiguous due to a moment of intimacy, had now fallen silent because of that sentence.
It wasn’t until the phone rang that Morgan Sanders snapped out of his trance, and instinctively reached for his phone only to realize that it wasn’t his phone that was ringing but Mia Rowen’s. Morgan instinctively nudged her, signaling her to answer the call, but what he got in response was the steadfast back of a woman.
Fortunately, the call was from Bianca, so Morgan simply answered it, "Hello, Bianca? Mia is angry with me and won’t take her phone, so I’m answering it!"
Mia Rowen: "..."
When did she say she was angry with him?
She was clearly upset with herself for lacking allure!
"Morgan, you’re in the wrong here, how can a grown man let his wife be angry?" Though she said this, Bella Gordon still instinctively felt that something might have happened, "Morgan, be honest with me, did you take advantage of her drunkenness last night, and so Mia is angry with you now?"
Mia Rowen, that girl, has a big temper and a big heart, her tolerance is proportional to her temper, ordinary things wouldn’t make her angry unless...
"Cough cough..." Hearing Bella’s suggestion, Morgan felt his face flush again as he gazed at the woman’s smooth back, and then suddenly just... "Actually, nothing happened last night, but this morning we did... "
He couldn’t continue, and finally just added, "Anyway, we’re a married couple, we’re going to have children in the future, it’s just making love, what’s the big deal!"
Mia Rowen: "..."
