Chapter 330: Grandpa Trident

"Huh? But I clearly heard it just now." Chunhua was very certain someone called her that.

"You’re so young and you’re already a little thief. You’re a shame to your clan."

There it is again.

"Bangle, don’t play with me. Just be honest." Chunhua raised her right wrist to look at the bangle eye to eye.

The bangle: Master, you’re accusing me of something I didn’t do. I’m completely innocent.

"Then, who could possibly say it if there was only two of us here..." Chunhua turned to her right then left, only to stop and stare blankly at the old man in golden armor.

(ʘᗩʘ’)

"You little thief." The Old man snarled. His white beard shook.

Chunhua let out an awkward smile while asking, "Exalted Immortal, why are you here?" How is Gramps able to cross the boundaries of dreams and come here?

The old man snorted at her startled expression and strange way of addressing him, prompting him to send her a death glare, "Give me back my trident."

"Oh, this? Of course. No problem." Chunhua slowly handed the trident back to the old man but inch before the old man’s gold gauntlet touched the trident, she threw it using all her strength like a javelin.

The trident shot in the speed of torpedo and every structure on the path was destroyed.

The old man was angry at her disrespectful behavior against the elderly and threatened her, "I will settle you later," before he chased his precious trident.

Chunhua was intimidated by Spirit Venerable grandpa’s threat. She quickly swam to the opposite direction and while rolling the qi rope on her hand like it was some kind of fishing rod.

Before she threw off the trident, she had tied the tied the end with qi rope. She didn’t any intention of giving the trident back to the grandpa in the first place and only wanted to stall time because Chef Long needed it.

When Trident Gramps was about to finally get the trident, something went wrong and the weapon whooshed passed him and went to the opposite the direction and followed the little thief.

The old man was extremely mad and blurted out, "You little...I’m going to kill you."

And then the chase of the century occurred. Chunhua swam forward and didn’t care if there are walls, doors, pillar, roof, buildings, or school of fishes and so on blocking her way.

Everything was smashed to smithereens as the two circled around the City.

"Stop for me at once! Stop for me you little thief!" The Grandpa tried to catch up but Chunhua was surprisingly very fast, faster than those black marlins. This little thief must have doing this sneaky job for a long time.

"Blame the system Grandpa. It’s the one who issued the task!" Chunhua shouted enough for the Gramps to hear, who was at 300 meters away.

The bangle was confused at his Master’s behavior: Master?

"I don’t care about the system or who the heck it is. Just give me my trident back or I will smack your butt once I grab a hold of you." The Grandpa angrily said

Chunhua was instantly scared.

Never underestimate old people, they know the tai chi of slipper throwing and butt smacking. Her Master was proficient at making his disobedient disciples’ butts bloomed red flowers.

Not to mention, Gramps could possibly be a Spirit Venerable! Don’t talk about red flowers. Chunhua was afraid that her butt will be gone in the end.

"This system is born torment me." She refused to believe that the system didn’t know that the weapon had an owner and a powerful one to boot but still issued the task to newbies. Chunhua sniffed on the verge of crying.

Fortunately, it was her who found this because if Chef Long was the one to face this Gramps in a game of underwater tag, Chef Long will probably bedridden for months from the butt smacking. "Grandpa, I’m just going to borrow this for a day. Just for a day. I promised I won’t steal again."

"Don’t bullshit with me." The gramps made a gesture of wanting to strangle.

The bangle was further confused after looking around: Hey Master, are you alright?

Chunhua tied the trident around her waist and spread both of her hands.

’Dharma Wind Spell’.

Her figure disappeared in a blink of an eye.

A few minutes later, Chunhua deactivated her wind skill, looked back and when she didn’t see Grandpa anymore, she was relief.

Gazing ahead, she was planning to search for Chef Long...

But there was someone blocking her view.

"Little Thief."

Chunhua hurriedly reacted.

’Dharma Wind Spell’ to the east direction.

The old gramps was so frustrated. This thief was very slippery as a loach.

"Don’t think you can escape me!"

Chunhua: ∑(ΦдΦlll

’Dharma Wind Spell’ to the west.

"You little brat!"

Chunhua: ∑(ΦдΦlll

’Dharma Wind Spell’ to the north.

"I got you. You have nowhere to go!"

Chunhua: ∑(ΦдΦlll

’Dharma Wind Spell’ to the south.’

How? Does this Grandpa have some sort of GPS installed in his brain? Because he could locate her every time!

Chunhua looked at the trident hanging on her waist before shaking her head. "No, no, Chef Long needs this."

The bangle: Master, hold on, what exactly are you doing?

"An old man is chasing me. He’s out to beat my bum if I don’t give him back the trident." Chunhua anxiously said.

The bangle: An old man? But I don’t see any.

"Are you blind? He’s there behind me. He’s wearing a gold armor and had a ferocious look on his face like this (ಠ益ಠ)." Chunhua made a face.

The bangle once again surveyed the surroundings: I really don’t see anything. You’re just hallucinating Master.

"He’s really there. I can hear him shouting-", The rest of the words were left unsaid because the Old gramps once again made magically teleported in front of her.

Chunhua was too late to make a stop or changed the direction of the dharma wind spell.

The Old Gramps cracked his knuckles and smiled. "He he."

Chunhua: (@Д@;)
