Chapter 247: The Warehouse is full
But she’s really Baozi? Isn’t Baozi a big, muscled, bearded, six-feet-tall guy?
Nonetheless, the emotions in Xiang’s eyes immediately turned to reverence, without an ounce of hesitation.
Compared to what other players said, this small and adorable form of Baozi was way cooler!
[You are now a probationary resident of Salted Fish Territory.]
[You will be under Player Baozi’s jurisdiction from now on.]
[You will no longer have a contractual relationship with your natives.]
"Uhm, Baozi. Can the others that came along with me also..."
"They can too, provided that they don’t cause disorder," Li Chunhua said. She can vouch for this girl because in the novel she was loyal to her friends until the end.
"Thank you so much, Baozi. My friends are very kind." Xiang’er couldn’t contain her joy. She’ll persuade Conrad and the others to join as well.
She wanted to ask for her autograph and picture, but when she recalled the situation she was in, Xiang’er calmed herself down.
But still, some of her intense emotions slipped out, and Li Chunhua thought she was being stared at by a wolf and waiting to pounce on her.
"Miss Xiang’er, are you fine? Do you feel pain somewhere?" Li Chunhua stepped back.
Xiang’er came to her senses and cleared her throat. "Yes, I am."
"Alright." The two walked inside, and Xiang’er was blown away by the buildings.
"Wow." She covered her mouth in her hand and gasped, feeling like she had stepped inside another world.
Because the facilities had rectangular holographic labels above them to identify themselves, Xiang’er read these screens, and her shock increased.
[Basic: ’I Scream Trebuchet’]
[Basic Candied Bomb Ballista]
[Mini-Catapult]
[Small Crossbow]
Basic Hut Residence?
But it looks like a candy and dessert café. She thought it was a store initially.
As the two walked more, Xiang’er saw another house on her right, much bigger and resembling a gingerbread house she saw in the shops selling confectionaries during the winter holidays, with all those candy canes, peppermint, whip cream roofs, colorful candies, and so on.
She was suddenly feeling hungry.
But what is going on?
Did Baozi build them on her own? That is simply impossible right now because just the paint alone and the manpower would be a problem. Not to mention the wall and forest outside. Xiang’s admiration for the little dumpling skyrocketed.
Li Chunhua walked until she saw the door of the Basic Hut Residence, where Uncle Meng Chu was staying, was crowded, and when the natives and players saw her, they stepped aside and gave way.
Xiang’er was startled by the numerous curious gazes sent on her way and kept her head bowed down until she and Li Chunhua arrived inside the hut.
Xiang’er was surprised. The space inside the hut was five times bigger than hers and had ten beds, and it didn’t look crude at all. Most importantly, she can see that these people have the basic necessities like blankets, pillows, clothes, and lamps, and there were also some snacks in the small cupboards beside each bed.
One could only imagine, if the residents were already rich, how much richer Baozi was. She elicited an audible gulp.
Li Chunhua placed the unconscious man on the bed before treating Conrad. Li Chunhua administered First Aid Skill until stabilized at 350/500. After that, her skill couldn’t raise the man’s HP anymore.
"That’s all I can do. It’s probably because of the blood loss that they still won’t wake up. I don’t know how to make a blood tonic or soup that can enrich blood." Li Chunhua retrieved her hand. Too bad, she doesn’t also know how to concoct qi blood pills; otherwise, she could help them further.
The people sleeping on the bed had regained a healthy complexion, and their breathing was no longer weak.
Xiang’er, knowing that the danger for Conrad had passed, thanked her once more.
"I still have something to do." Li Chunhua went out after bidding them goodbye and calling Rioli, "Uncle, I have something to talk to you."
Rioli nodded and followed her.
"Bye Landowner!"
"Take care, landowner!"
With her gone, Xiang’er was surrounded by people.
"Little lady, what is your name?" Aunt He and Aunt Su came in and brought some soup, bread, a plate of meat, and side dishes to Xiang’er.
The smell of the fried meat and soup invaded Xiang’s nose and stomach, and she swallowed her saliva. "It’s Xiang’er."
"Xiang’er dear, are you hungry? Because everyone was hungry from last night’s tide, these were what are left of our breakfast. Come on and eat first." Aunt He and Aunt Su arranged a table and dragged it near to the bed she was sitting on.
Xiang’er’s eyes roamed on the table they had dragged and the dishes they placed.
This are leftovers?
If these were to be sold in the trade market, they would be fought over!
(⊙_⊙;) Her stomach was protesting.
Xiang’er brought the bowl of soup close to her mouth and sipped. She picked up the chopstick and tasted everything.
Delicious...
Every dish on the table was more delicious than what she had eaten for days! Heaven knows they only ate bread, biscuits, and, if they were lucky enough, canned ham, and they would already be thrilled even with eating a small portion of it.
Xiang’er recalled all her fallen comrades and burst into tears while finishing the meal.
Everyone was startled by her cries.
"Young lady, are you okay?"
Xiang’er nodded and lied. "It just tasted so good that I’m crying."
The people who heard her didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. "Eat slowly."
Because Xiang’er had not eaten properly for two straight days, she was able to finish the meals in under three minutes. "Auntie, thank you for the meal. How much was it?"
"You don’t need to pay." The Auntie waved their hands and took the empty plates and bowls.
"But..." Xiang’er couldn’t finish her words because another two young women came forward and gave her clothes.
"Hello, Sister Xiang’er, I’m Bai Susu. This is my old clothes, and this is lye soap. There is a bathhouse right outside, and there’s water in the well. We’ll show you the way."
Xiang’er was stunned. How could this girl just give it away for free?

Meanwhile, Li Chunhua and Rioli were walking towards the pens.
She showed the middle-aged man the blueprint for the cold storage unit, and Rioli assured her that it could be done, but the problem was the ice.
"Leave it to me, Uncle." Li Chunhua patted her chest.
Rioli was suddenly reminded of her frightening ice skills that terrorize those Xeno-humanoid Zergs and laughed heartily. "Alright, landowner. Give us until this afternoon." The middle-aged man grinned before he recalled one important thing.
"Landowner, are you going to summon another batch of natives this day?"
Li Chunhua nodded. "After the meeting, I’ll proceed with the summoning." Hopefully there will be a blacksmith, or else she might need to be a half-baked forger as well. Sigh. The salted fish life she’s dreaming of seems so bleak.
Rioli was looking forward to the new fellows and wished her good luck. After the talk, he went to discuss the new job with his friends.
Li Chunhua fed the livestock that seemed to adapt well to their new lifestyle before replenishing the warehouse with her loot. She stored the gear first.
However, after emptying just less than 10% of her inventory, Li Chunhua was met with a problem.
[The warehouse is full.]
All 200 slots were occupied.
( ̄_ ̄|||)
She will need to build another one.
