The archers retreated far away pulled the string of their bows to release the arrows and the soldiers rushed towards Li Chunhua while brandishing their swords and spears, while the remaining raised their shield to protect the back lines and commanders.

Unlike the Death Envoys who prioritize their survival over their dignity, these fallen empire humanoid monsters didn’t retreat even with all the odds stack against them.
