Chapter 142: The Natural Dowser Li Chunhua
In the morning, the foodie deeply motivated by the threat of tribulation lighting, impressively woke up even before the chicken’s cawing.
[Marshmallow Kang Bed

"This is for the future. You need to be alone for a while. I will thoroughly enjoy you after the monster tide." Li Chunhua rubbed her cheeks against the soft surface of the bed, mumbling in melancholy, as if the two of them will part for a long time.
She carried the two shotas sleeping on the edges to the center as well as the loli sleeping on the floor.
Turning her head away in reluctance from the tempting bed, she cleaned herself with towel and water, cast a spell to dispel dirt, and slipped in another track suit before she went of her residence.
Since it was still 4:30 a.m. one couldn’t see the stone path clearly but it was not a problem for her, although, she might consider making a street light or something in the near future for Siri and the others.
The rain was still pouring nonstop outside the barrier but it was lighter than yesterday’s night.
Despite this development, one couldn’t deny that if she didn’t make the barrier that cries food on time, the territory would suffer, especially the greenhouse.
The hens and the crocs were still sleeping soundly. Li Chunhua enviously looked at these livestock huddling together. Their lives are so good. They live more comfortably than her.
She took out the lighter, searched for the eggs inside the chicken’s cage and found four colorful ones. Brother Siri said that these were unfertilized eggs and if she wanted to increase the chickens’ numbers, then she needed to scam another myriad colorful bird to turn into a rooster.
Sadly, she made the two of them hens. "..."
Anyway let bygones be bygones, she walked towards the area where the supposed quarry was built and replaced it with a new one before going back to greenhouse.
These little guys were so demanding in water consumption. Two gallons a day were used up in these fields before the rain. After it, Siri tied pots around the trees and placed barrels underneath to gather rain water outside to be used externally.
Recalling her natives’ conversations this afternoon through her super enhanced eavesdropping skill, she decided to build the well water.
But first...
[Global Chat]
[Little Baozi]: Does anyone know how to construct a deep well? You can sent me a message and tell me the price.
Despite it was still dawn, more than 20% of the players were still active in the chat and when they saw Baozi’s post, Li Chuhua’s inbox was swamped just after a few seconds.
The red font of 99999+ was bringing her a headache. Next time, she’ll have to ask Player Hua to meditate for her.
She filtered out the messages, blacklisted the scammers and those trying to morally kidnap her, saying she was so powerful, wealthy, comfortably living off that she should donate some of her supplies to help the poor.
This kind of people, if you help them once, they will ask your help again and if you didn’t aid them you’re going to be labeled as selfish.
The number of players in her blacklist increased.
She spent another ten minutes before she found a credible one.
[The Geek]: Fracture Trace Mapping can be used to locate larger producing water wells for farms, businesses and large homes. In some cases, especially where groundwater yields are low, homeowners and farmers may employ dowsers or water witches to help locate water well.
Water witches? Where is she supposed to look for them?
(°ー°〃)
Li Chunhua frowned, after realizing it wasn’t easy as she imagined it to be.
[Little Baozi]: How much for the rest?
[The Geek]: I don’t want food and water but thick and waterproof clothes or just rain gears, or you can trade flints, or cotton.
Inside one of the territory located on the foot of Newbie Mountain No. 31, a man with golden framed glasses rubbed his hands together nervously waited for the other party’s reply.
The temperature had dropped to 23 degree Celsius, enough for an average human to feel cold.
Noticing the other party was still not responding, ’The geek’ player wanted to change his price to wood.
[You’ve got 2x1 meters of waterproof fabric.]
[You’ve got a cotton shirt]
[You’ve got a match box]
Such a generous guy!
He quickly sent a response for the kind gesture.
[The Geek]: Secondly, wells must be located far enough away from latrines and other places where human and animal waste is concentrated to prevent the introduction of disease-causing pathogens from entering the well water. An ideal depth would be...
Li Chunhua read the message and thought it wasn’t hard to follow. So picking the location was actually the hardest?
After closing the interface, she looked around the territory before deciding on building it outside. The rain continued for another 15 minutes and when time was 5:00 am, the dark clouds dispersed.
The path towards outside was muddy. Her territory was facing the north and Li Chunhua picked the left side about five meters away from the trenches and twenty meters away from the lollipop forest.
A shovelling tool appeared on her hand and she started digging a 1 meter diameter, 50 feet deep hole. Technically, this was purely based on luck as she didn’t have any clue of the methods The Geek Player mentioned.
The wet soil was heavier than usual but Li Chunhua didn’t have difficulties. Dig, throw the soil out, dig again, she repeated the process until she was 48 feet.
She paused for a while thinking this spot must not have any water but then she noticed the dug soil under her feet, became moist. Her eyes lit up and dug another foot and a few seconds after, a tiny water fountain sprang.
Li Chunhua saw a prompt.
[Pure Spring Water- Production: 1 CF (Cubic Meter) per second]
( $ _ $ )
She did it! My copper coins!

"So you can help your brother during the drought. Even when he wanted to take a bath he can." Li Chunhua blew the steam off the newly baked kiln bread before biting. The milky and vanilla taste and the rich and flavourful meat in between were so good and she finished it off in just few bites. She grabbed another one.
Long Haoran stopped eating his sandwich and log onto the global chat and searched for the previous post of a player, showing off his deep well.
[#8950]: My peach-lover monkey was so clever and pinpointed a water source near my territory. I had my natives dug and we now have a well that can produce ten litres of water every day.
The other players were very envious because they needed to fetch water far away everyday with their lives being at risk. Some contacted #8950 to buy water from him and the latter was flooded with customers.
Long Haoran compared the 10 liters to 1 CFS and closed the global chat. He decided, he will not delve deeply anymore, it just waste his brain cells.
After the lunch, Long Haoran messaged his brother.
[Dumpling Duke]: I got your drinking water covered. I will send you ten barrels a day.
[Great Romantic Sage]: Wow! Brother, did you discover a water source as well?
[Dumpling Duke]: No, there is a water fairy beside me.
Long Haoran looked at the water fairy whose both cheeks bulged from eating. Ever since he joined this woman’s territory apart from the boss bull incident, everything had been going smoothly.
He stared at the woman for a few seconds. There were so many indistinct emotions fleetingly flashed within his eyes, before returning to the chat box. No one was able to see the tiny arc on the corner of his lips.
[Great Romantic Sage]: Holy Mackerel! Are you still my brother? Are you possessed? You aren’t my brother! My brother doesn’t know how to joke around! He’s a...
Long Haoran closed the tab. He had an urge to place this leech on his blacklist.
After the very satisfying meal, Li Chunhua rubbed her belly and took out the map again, to see if there is a resource or grinding spot nearby.
Long Haoran cleaned the traces they left and scattered the ashes before placing the kiln inside his inventory.
"I’ve decided. Let’s go to the next monsters spot. For the copper coins!" Li Chunhua spoke and lifted her steps.
Long Haoran followed behind.
