Chapter 880: Chapter 604 Mina’s Learning Journey [Happy Spring Festival]
"Joining us will definitely be worth it."
The other’s enthusiasm made Mina a bit flustered.
"Our brother Flayer is sick." She gestured to the little guy on her back, "We want a potion to cure his illness. No matter the price, we can pay. If we have no money, we can work to repay."
"Sick? That’s a big deal!" The other extended his hand, "Give me the child."
"Huh?"
"You are running too slow, I can run faster carrying him."
As he spoke, he shook his head again, "No, it’s too bumpy, wait a moment."
Before long, a figure flew over from the sky.
It was someone driving a horse carriage pulled by a flying demon beast, wearing armor that emitted a magical glow. The weapon at his waist flickered with his breathing.
The aura around him was more terrifying than the man in front of her, especially that flying demon beast. If she wasn’t mistaken, it was a flying dragon!
"The little flying car is here~"
The flying dragon landed, kicking up a sandstorm.
"Pfft, pfft, can you learn to drive properly?"
"You know nothing. A flying dragon must land dramatically, otherwise how will others know I’m riding a dragon."
"Eh, what you said makes sense."
After a brief quarrel, the two quickly shifted their gaze to Flayer.
"Hurry up and take them back for treatment!"
Mina and Mayer became utterly confused and were brought onto the carriage pulled by the flying dragon.
The terrifying and powerful flying dragon crawled forward on four limbs, swaying as it surged ahead. While its hind legs kicked off the ground, its wings flapped, lifting its body into the Gale.
Soaring through the sky, their vision quickly elevated, looking down to see the dense forest shrinking, and eventually their sight extended beyond the woods to a farther distance.
There was no Gale blowing because they used a Magic Barrier to block the wind outside.
This was destined to be a peculiar experience.
They landed safely at Red Furnace Castle.
"I’ll get your fare later, I need to save the person first."
"No problem, I’m off to take another job."
After dropping them off, the dragon carriage immediately flew away again.
Not having time to admire the legendary Red Furnace Castle, Mina noticed the man running quickly ahead while carrying Flayer and immediately followed.
They arrived at a Magic Potion Shop.
What happened next left Mina speechless. She watched as those who should be high and mighty fought for Flayer’s life, using various precious Magic Potions without a care for the cost.
Until finally, they invited a witch with bunny teeth.
She must be a big shot because Mina noticed everyone showed great respect to the bunny-toothed witch.
"This should be an infectious disease," said the Bunny-toothed Witch. "Even if he recovers, he’ll be very weak."
"Can I request you save Flayer? He is our family," Mina tentatively asked.
She knew her request was a bit much. The three of them were worth nothing compared to even one herb of that boiling pot of Magic Potion.
"Of course." The Bunny-toothed Witch pointed to the man who brought the three of them, "He will help you."
"Please give me a list, Mico Miss."
A piece of Parchment flew over, followed by a quill, writing and drawing on it. When the quill stopped, the Parchment landed in the man’s hand.
"What a coincidence, I just have all these materials. When can it be brewed?"
"Now."
The Magic Potion flew from the man’s hand and, under the Bunny-toothed Witch’s direction, poured into the cauldron. The spoon automatically stirred, the cauldron boiled, and the fragrance of the Magic Potion permeated the air.
Everything seemed like a dream. When it was all over, the Magic Potion was handed to Mina.
"Give it to him to drink."
"Yes." Mina shivered slightly, immediately catching the Magic Potion Bottle and carefully feeding it to Flayer.
The high fever that had made Flayer drowsy subsided, and the unhealthy flush on his face faded.
"Flayer!" She embraced him in joy, her eyes moistening.
"How can I thank you?" She looked at the man who brought them to Red Furnace Castle, thinking of how to repay him.
The man shook his head indifferently, "Just promise me to join Red Furnace Castle."
"Is it really that simple?"
It would be a huge blessing for Red Furnace Castle to accept them; they would be foolish not to agree.
"Come, follow me to handle the formalities."
Mina carried the newly recovered Flayer, but before they went far, Flayer said he was already better and could walk by himself.
"What an amazing Magic Potion," Mina exclaimed.
"It’s probably the person brewing the potion who is amazing," said the man walking ahead, "Mico Miss is the chief Pharmacist, capable of brewing the Legendary Potion."
"Wait, are you saying that the witch is a Legendary Pharmacist?"
Mico found it too incredible.
Such an important figure personally brewed the Magic Potion for them.
But even if they had an agenda, the cost was far beyond what they could repay, even if they died hundreds of times.
With those thoughts, Mina and the other two walked hand in hand to the administration hall of Red Furnace Castle.
Inside, a row of iron robots sat. Their chest areas displayed energy pumps that throbbed with gear movement.
"Referrer, Sweet Mushroom, and the recommended are these three." The man pointed to the three beside him.
The three stood stiffly.
"Now, I need you to answer some questions," the robot said, "You can leave now, Sweet Mushroom."
Sweet Mushroom bowed his head, "Yes, sir."
After he left, the three became even more nervous.
Noticing their emotions, the robot asked, "Who can answer some questions for me?"
"I can." Mina volunteered, knowing it had to be her at this moment.
