Chapter 734: Chapter 532 Silver Waterfall Swordswoman_2
Although that is the case, having a large number of Undead fans also has many benefits, like advertising orders, or even opening a store directly in the game, there are many ways to monetize. As long as you have enough fans, there’s always a way to make money, the fear is having lots of ideas but no capital to start with.
"Definitely a hidden quest, trust me!"
"Trust me" *N
Suddenly, the chat went wild with "trust me."
"Alright, I’ll check it out."
She remained hidden but cast a few spells on herself, lowering her voice, reducing her scent, then took out a Magic Potion and drank it, and followed up by sprinkling a bag of powder all over herself.
Only after all the preparations were ready did she slowly make her way over.
The battle up ahead was intense.
It was a team fight. A silver-haired young girl wielding a One-handed Sword was locked in a fierce battle with a Sunless City Armor-wearing Soldier holding a shield.
The Swift Sword carved dazzling sword marks in the air, and as she lunged forward, all the sword marks remaining in the air crashed onto the Soldier’s shield in a cacophony of sounds.
Thud, thud, thud, the shield was chopped and beaten by the sword marks, with the Soldier’s arms trembling as he retreated.
But the silver-haired girl did not pursue the attack; instead, she was panting heavily, resting one hand on her knee. Her face was covered in sweat, strands of silver hair sticking to her face without a trace of dishevelment, instead carrying a "beautiful yet tragic" allure that made hearts race.
"Hidden quest!" The chat lost its mind.
"Wait, isn’t that Silver Waterfall Swordswoman Lea?"
Someone recognized that familiar-looking character at a glance.
Silver Waterfall Swordswoman Lea, a two-circle power level, is an NPC character from the Northern regions of Magic Land, a Princess of the Fallen Country.
Her story is currently displayed in bookstores opened by the Undead all over, and the sales are quite good.
With a beautiful appearance and a story full of twists, the Silver Waterfall Swordswoman has high popularity. The Undead seem to love her a lot, but not many have actually seen her.
No one is clear about what this star NPC does every day; she seems to enjoy telling her story.
Ding Dong No Peeky already charged out, shouting loudly: "Don’t be afraid, girl!"
Chat: "Damn, how comes it feels sleazier than me?"
Chat: "It’s not an illusion; that’s just how she is."
Chat: "6666"
The Silver Waterfall Swordswoman who was entangled with the Sunless City Armor Soldier suddenly heard the shout, the blade in her hand paused, and she dodged sideways to a safe position before attentively observing Ding Dong No Peeky.
"I’m here to help you, I’m an Undead!" Ding Dong No Peeky introduced herself proactively, "Silver Waterfall Swordswoman Lea, I’ve heard your story!"
"Undead?"
Hearing "Undead," instead of relaxing, the Silver Waterfall Swordswoman grew more cautious, even turning her blade slightly towards the Undead.
"I am lawful and good," Ding Dong No Peeky grumbled, "It’s all those creeps’ fault, ruining our image!"
The chat floated by with a wave of "indeed."
But there was also someone who chatted: "She’s talking about you, you’re that representative creep!"
"Be careful!" However, Ding Dong No Peeky raised her Magic Wand.
It’s fine if you can’t fight, as long as you can follow guides.
Canceling the casting delay, moving to avoid being locked down by the enemy, Undead like her exceed standard combat levels as soon as they start fighting.
Not to mention every Undead would optimize their gear search, reducing cooldowns, side effects, and so on to the extreme.
A cluster of Magic Bullets struck out, causing the Sunless City Armor Soldier to tremble.
What followed was a set of magic combos by the Undead, control first then skill casting followed by a roll to cancel the backswing, raising hand to fire two Magic Bullets, and finally a buff to top it off.
The small combo resembling keyboard rolling was unleashed at an incredibly fast pace.
The Silver Waterfall Swordswoman Lea, standing aside, only saw Ding Dong No Peeky suddenly release a magic electric ball. When the electric ball autonomously locked onto the Sunless City Armor Soldier, obstructing his sight, she chanted a spell on the spot, jumped forward, rolled backward, and when she got up, she threw out Magic Bullets and then, without even looking at the enemy, took out a Magic Potion and chugged it down.
Sizzle, the electric light touched the shield, followed closely by a clash of magic, the shield was opened up, and then two Magic Balls smashed onto the face.
The Sunless City Armor Soldier hit the ground.
Silver Waterfall Swordswoman Lea’s eyes widened.
She did not recklessly join the battle but cautiously continued to retreat, leaving the battlefield to the two of them.
"Is this all she knows? No, this is a highly efficient fighting style honed through countless battles."
Soon, the Silver Waterfall Swordswoman Lea noticed a problem. The Undead fought with a rapid rhythm, endlessly repeating the same combination of moves from earlier, which in her view was full of flaws.
But strangely enough, the Sunless City Armor-clad Soldiers could not break through her assault at all, completely falling into her fighting pace.
It might look ridiculous, but not a single movement was superfluous.
Finally, with another release of a Magic Bullet, the Sunless City Armor-clad Soldier collapses and doesn’t get up, the Undead’s gaze then turns towards the Silver Waterfall Swordswoman.
"I’m really one of you! I’ve read your novel."
"That’s not me!" Silver Waterfall Swordswoman Lea’s cheeks turned red.
"Ah?" Dingleberry looked surprised.
So there really was more to the story.
Those Undead who draw comics and write novels really should be damned for making things up.
"I am the Princess of the Fallen Country, but I swear allegiance to no one." She explained, "With Duke Hein around, no one is a princess."
"What’s the deal with your book?"
"I don’t know."
In her heart, Silver Waterfall Swordswoman Lea found it ridiculous. Being the Princess of the Fallen Country wasn’t something to show off about; weren’t Deities, Dominus, and the like everywhere? What’s so special about being a princess?
Other than her title, her daily life was no different from an ordinary person’s.
She only remembered that when the Undead first appeared in the Northern parts of Magic Land, they came up to her to chat, then inquired about some stories, even wanting to hear her own tales.
If the price was right, there wasn’t anything a mercenary wouldn’t betray.
So she told her story to those Undead, slightly exaggerating, and then things got out of hand, she boasted a little for the sake of face.
And then, the Undead just kept adding more and more to her story.
When she saw her own story, she found that it had nothing to do with her anymore, aside from her image and name.
She wanted to cause trouble but had no idea who to confront.
Even the Title "Silver Waterfall Swordswoman" was a boast; her real abilities were at the bottom in Magic Land, very average.
"Why are you here?" Noticing the NPC didn’t want to talk, Dingleberry shifts tactics immediately.
Definitely a pre-requirement quest not completed or not enough affinity, that’s why she’s unwilling to converse.
"I..."
She was just wandering aimlessly. Now, whenever she appeared, she was treated like a celebrity by the Undead, and in the end, she couldn’t get anything done. A few days ago, she bumped into a Fallen Beast by accident and fled in panic without choosing her paths and ended up here unconsciously.
She absolutely mustn’t tell the truth!
Because she really liked the feeling of being adored, it felt wonderful, as if she truly had become a hero.
But her strength was insufficient, her talent was lacking, and her efforts weren’t enough to improve.
"I’m seeking stronger enemies," she said.
The Silver Waterfall Swordswoman is full of regret now; had she not tried to prove herself, though she might have been treated like a circus clown in the North getting laugh at, at least she would be glamorous.
As long as you pretend not to know, then it is true.
She wouldn’t be in such a sorry state like she was now.
Dingleberry remained silent: "..."
This NPC sure is stubborn, one little monster and you’re already exhausted, and now stronger enemies?
But she didn’t call her out, "Is there anything I can do to help you?"
"I would like to find a place to rest and recover for a while," said Silver Waterfall Swordswoman Lea, pointing at herself, "I need food, rest, armor repairs, and more information on formidable enemies."
That last bit was perhaps unnecessary to mention.
Dingleberry replied: "I know a place, the War Throne, it’s perfect for resting."
