Chapter 385: Chapter 327 What is this movie trailer about?

The screen was pitch black when an elderly female voice emerged, bringing with it a flicker of flames that also lit up the screen.

"The magic circle is shattered, yet the throne remains unseen," she murmured softly.

The camera zoomed out to reveal an old nun with folded hands, standing in front of a dilapidated church. The old nun gazed ahead with her prominent yet lifeless eyes, seemingly staring at someone, or perhaps had never been focused from the start.

As the camera continued to pull back, it flickered to a desolate ancient battlefield.

The ice-cold wind cracked the earth, countless corpses were piled up into mountains, faded flags that had long lost their units pierced the bodies with their poles, the stubborn flags fluttered in the wind.

The next moment, the scene shifted to night, where the roaring Carrion Queen stirred up bloody dust, and hairless grotesque figures stood erect, provoking the nerves of the onlookers.

Then the scene changed, a fat and bulky Two-Headed Person with two heads bellowed to the sky, stomping on the ground and causing it to tremble violently.

The red-eyed ’hyenas’, Serene riding an Earth Dragon... one powerful figure after another appeared on the screen, unabashedly displaying their strength and destructive power.

The scene then became even more exaggerated as a Cyclops several stories tall approached the city wall with cumbersome steps, a top-notch feeling of pressure could be felt without holding one’s breath.

Undead formed a large army, marching towards the city walls under the dark clouds.

Leon, consumed by pus, completely lost his sanity and was eventually swallowed by the abyss, transforming into a demon full of shrieks and wails, and a city was destroyed under his terrorizing destructive power.

A massive Magical Beast Lion suddenly leaped onto the screen, pulling the scene to an arena, its saliva and drool stretched from its roaring mouth quickening the heartbeat, but the next moment.

"Kitty-cat~" a voice rang out.

The Baron Ronan, a massive serpent that blotted out the sky, peeked its head out from behind a building. The previously fearsome and menacing Magical Beast Lion now sat on the ground submissively, looking up pleasingly at the enormous creature.

The wall-like towering thickness of the snake’s body, wrapped in viscous fluid, was both revolting and horrifying.

The terrifying figures that appeared on the screen began to multiply and their speed accelerated. During this time, there were explosions of flames, sharp and piercing laughter, and a noble lady with a bird’s beak mask dancing elegantly to classical music...

The heartbeat accelerated, thumping rapidly, as a free-running parkour perspective launched a chase battle, with something laughing strangely while leaping in pursuit behind.

The breathing became more and more rapid. The parkour’s point of view rushed into a space that seemed like a banquet hall, then turned around to close the door.

"The left side, the left side! And the right!"

But before the door on the right shut, an arm suddenly stretched through the crack, successfully preventing the door from closing.

A hunched figure pushed the door open, and the parkour’s view immediately turned and rushed towards the window, leaping out in a suicidal manner. Turning back, it was apparent that the horrifying pursuer was still biting closely behind.

Crash—!

The glass shattered, but a hand had already reached out ahead of time. The running perspective grabbed that hand, managing to hang outside the window successfully, while the terrifying figure that had followed jumped out had no friend to help and could only wail as it plummeted into the gaping maw below, which resembled an abyss.

Falling into it, there was then no trace of life.

The screen went dark, then was shattered by a bolt of Thunder.

A majestic, bulky Dragon King held Thunder in its grasp, squat-sitting on the ground, with lightning connecting heaven and earth. It looked like a deity in charge of Thunder, looking down at the tiny creatures on the ground.

The screen turned completely dazzling white at the instant the Thunder struck, so white that nothing else could be seen.

The white light lasted only a second or two, then began to fade. The scene once again returned to night, once again focusing on the powerful Carrion Queen, only this time the Carrion Queen met her enemy.

A Knight shrouded in flames launched an assault, but the scene quickly gave just a glimpse of a silhouette, and no one could tell who it was.

The kneeling Mad Secret Emissary bowed his head, holding a blood-red fireball in his hands with a devout posture as if swearing allegiance to someone.

An old Mage with a white beard holding a Magic Wand and Longsword led the front line in the slaying of the undead.

The Cyclops was overthrown by a crimson Flying Dragon descending from the sky.

The grizzled old Hunter, flinging his blade, extended an invitation to the Undead to go hunting, to partake in the Night of the Hunt.

The imagery seemed to convey that in this world, not only formidable foes arose, but powerful individuals also wielded their might to protect every corner of this world.

Then, one by one, familiar figures emerged.

The man carrying a chunk of Greatsword leaped to face his foes, cleaving them in two with a heavy, powerful slash.

In the next scene, the main viewpoint appeared on the battlefield of an undead siege.

Amidst the raucous chaos of the battlefield, a figure in a white robe suddenly appeared, an Undead clad in assassin’s garb attacking from tricky angles. The main viewpoint’s body shuddered; he looked down only to see a retracting sleeve blade, and when he looked up again, the assailant had already merged with the undead and calmly departed.

Legions and armies steered clear of the white robe.

The scene shifted again, with wizards in their robes and obviously Hogwarts-style scarves gathered around, chanting spells and unleashing Fireballs.

The Fireballs streaked across the sky, and the scene followed them from the wizards’ chant site to the battlefield of the Royal City.

There, the flames were absorbed by a figure with black wings unfurled upfront.

Clad in a robe woven from Dark Flames, he wielded a Greatsword of black fire.

This particular scene was minuscule, as if the cameraperson fully embraced the perspective of a bystander, watching this tiny black figure absorb the continuous Flames, and opposite him, the towering body of the Dragon King clutched Thunder, attempting an onslaught.

When they collided, Dark Flame and Thunder devoured everything, including sound.

The scene shifted once more, revealing Lind standing at a desolate, dilapidated outpost, smiling with a voice thick as honey, deeply saying, "Well done, Undead."

The scene shifted again as he charged toward the Two-Headed People up ahead, until the screen went black, leaving only his silhouette.

In Goliath’s Summit Palace, where the Thunder had ceased, someone had punctured a hole in the overcast sky, and Rania Hedwin stood before the Golden Throne, her finger gently caressing it.

A beam of sunlight fell upon her shoulder.

"If one finds a companion to whom one can entrust their soul, they can overcome any adversity."

The imagery ended.

Lind leaned back against the headboard, glancing at the author.

"Produced jointly by Loves White Silk, Black Tortoise Shield, ’My Ring Won’t Lose,’ and others."

Indeed, these were all familiar old players that he leisurely scrolled through in the comments section.

This montage seemed pretty interesting, like a mash-up, but more akin to a movie trailer.

If we’re talking about technical skill, it might be at the level of an average video blogger, but the material presented was comprehensive, and each scene felt as if it were shot with real actors.

No matter how well done the effects were, they always imparted a sense of fabrication; a special-effects crafted Magical Beast would never be as scary as a rabid dog, snarling and straining at its leash in a real-world video shot with a cellphone.

Regardless of whether the special-effects Magical Beast would roar every time it appeared, showing off its tonsils to the audience.

Liuli Jiumeng: "Hogwarts buddies, don’t think I didn’t see you guys striking cool poses behind which Voldemort was gnawing on a chicken leg."

Xinkeaihuang: "Seeing a dark, wrinkled Cantonese face under the assassin’s hood really broke me."

Cursed Caramel: "That Two-Headed People boss exudes such oppressive vibes, big bro in the golden Armor, you gotta hang in there."

Fantasy in the Pavilion: "Two-Headed People: (huh cat.jpg)?? Me, fight Lind?"

Kongkongq: "What movie trailer is this?"

Chen Mian: "Same question (dog head)."
