Chapter 110 - 110 110 The Informant

110: Chapter 110 The Informant 110: Chapter 110 The Informant “Dragon Teeth Special Forces.” When Baka heard these words, his body shook uncontrollably.

The youth in front of him, this mysterious unit from Huaxia, might be unknown to Huaxians, but how could he, who had stirred up trouble here for so long, not know about this unit?

Once, they were the nemesis of all mercenary groups.

If it weren’t for the fact that two years ago, he had combined forces with several mercenary groups to surround and annihilate them using sheer numbers, he would not have been able to rise so rapidly.

Each member of this special forces unit had once had bounties on their heads in the Underworld, and as the commander of this unit, Ye Shikai’s head had once commanded an astronomical price offered by the mercenary groups.

However, no group had ever managed to claim this bounty.

Ye Shikai was the nightmare of all mercenaries.

Nonetheless, since their defeat in that battle, Baka had had his moment of glory.

The once War God was now his defeated foe, something Baka took great pride in.

And now, the identity of the young man in front of him turned out to be the illustrious Main God Netherworld King.

The silhouette of the youth slowly merged with the image of the former Dragon Teeth Special Forces captain in his mind…

“It’s you.” Baka’s pupils shrank; clearly, he recognized the young man before him as his archenemy from two years ago.

Although the special forces team had barely survived that battle, greatly depleted of their essence, Ye Shikai’s body had not been found during the cleanup of the battlefield.

Baka had thought the team’s strength was already decimated, and so he had not paid much attention thereafter.

But unexpectedly, he had now met this man again in such a manner.

“Surprising, isn’t it?

I’ve come back,” Ye Shikai said, pulling up a chair to sit in front of Baka, who now knelt before him like a prisoner awaiting judgment.

“How could you be the Netherworld King?” Baka questioned, unable to comprehend how the former leader of the special forces had transformed into the Netherworld King and now confronted him.

Ye Shikai didn’t answer Baka.

There was no need to waste words on a dead man.

Stretching out his right hand, he utilized his Inner Strength and, seemingly out of thin air, grasped Baka’s neck, lifting him into the air.

Baka panicked, his neck felt as it was being strangled by an invisible force, and as he struggled, his hands couldn’t touch anything—it was like telekinesis from a science fiction movie.

It was said that the Main God possessed abilities that normal people did not, and now it seemed to be true.

“Wait, Netherworld King, I have information.” Upon hearing this, a hint of interest flashed in Ye Shikai’s eyes.

He turned to look at the two men behind him, who nodded slightly.

Ye Shikai then withdrew his hand, retracting his Inner Strength, and Baka immediately fell to the ground, looking utterly disheveled as he gasped for breath.

“Speak.

What information?” Ye Shikai commanded coldly.

“If I tell you, can you spare my life?” Baka, now a prisoner, had his life in the other’s hands.

The arrogance he usually displayed was gone, and his cowardice surfaced in the face of death.

“If you don’t tell me, you die now,” Ye Shikai stated, displeased.

The man before him, like a lamb to the slaughter, still dared to bargain.

Ye Shikai gestured toward a nearby table; with a slight squeeze, the table instantly turned to dust under the force of his Inner Strength.

“I’ll talk, I’ll talk,” Baka stammered, frightened.

Ye Shikai’s capabilities were far beyond his imagination; it would be easy for Ye to take his life.

“We knew about your mission’s route in advance,” Baka confessed, his words detonating like a bomb in his own mind.

He had always wondered how their covert operation had been discovered, and now he realized they had known his route all along.

“How did you find out?” Ye Shikai’s expression darkened further.

From Baka’s words, he was certain that their defeat in that battle was not just a simple mistake.

How could their operational plans have been leaked in advance?

Ye Shikai clenched his fists, eager to discover the truth.

“The night before the battle, my personal email received a file,” Baka recounted the events of that evening.

That night, while worrying about the upcoming fight with several other mercenary leaders, my private email on my computer received a file.

“This is Dragon Teeth Special Forces’ route of action for tomorrow.

Set up the ambush as instructed, Hunt Ye Shikai.” Baka murmured to himself.

At first, I doubted the file’s authenticity, but upon seeing the attached map with its military-grade precision and clear routes, even showing us where to set up the ambushes, it appeared well-organized and genuine.

I showed the map to the other mercenary leaders, and we quickly agreed on the plan.

Although we were puzzled, we didn’t have any other choice in the situation, so we made some minor adjustments and set up the ambush.

“Who sent you the file?” Ye Shikai’s face was steely, burning with a desire to flay the traitor alive for vengeance for his fallen comrades.

“I don’t know, the file was sent anonymously; I couldn’t trace its origin,” Baka explained, not seeming to lie.

The person who sent the anonymous file obviously didn’t want to be discovered.

When Ye Shikai learned this, his hatred toward the anonymous informant even exceeded that towards Baka.

The loss of his special forces brothers was to some extent caused by this leaked information.

“Netherworld King, can I…” Baka hoped Ye Shikai might spare his life after relaying the news.

“You’ve killed so many of my brothers, and you think you can walk away?” Ye Shikai said icily.

His intent to kill was set—whether it was Baka or the anonymous informer, both were on his list.

“Netherworld King…” Fear painted Baka’s face as he realized his death was imminent.

Since that was the case, he might as well fight back.

Baka grabbed his pistol, intending to take Ye Shikai down with him, when one of the men behind Ye Shikai made a move.

“Aaagh!” the next second, Baka was sprawled on the ground, screaming like a pig being slaughtered.

The arm holding the pistol dropped to the ground, severed from the body, blood spurting out like a fountain.

The man sheathed his long blade back into his sleeve.

For a cultivator, Baka’s action was unequivocally suicidal.

“Soul Destroyer, let me handle this,” Ye Shikai stated coldly.

The man named Soul Destroyer stepped back two paces on command.
