Chapter 101 - 101 101 Huo Bao Temper

101: Chapter 101 Huo Bao Temper 101: Chapter 101 Huo Bao Temper Having money really does mean getting to do whatever you want.

That thought is running through Ye Shikai’s mind right now.

He doesn’t consider himself to be unreasonably willful, nor someone who disdains others on account of his wealth.

However, since this female police officer wanted to make things difficult for him, he decided to join her game.

“You…

well done, Mr.

Ye, you’ve got guts.” Zhang Ting, who had just learned his name while reviewing the materials outside, tossed a stack of bills to one side and threw her cigarette on the ground, clenching her teeth in anger.

“Officer Zhang, I’ve already paid the fine.

What else do you want?

Besides, I am a man, of course, I’ve got guts.” Ye Shikai lit a cigarette and took a puff slowly, giving Zhang Ting a mocking look.

Zhang Ting clenched her fists until her knuckles made a cracking sound.

This scoundrel actually dared to talk to her like that.

In the entire police station, who wouldn’t submit to her?

Even the most ruthless criminals would turn into well-behaved kittens.

“Believe it or not, I can make you gutless.” Zhang Ting bit out the words, gripping the baton at her waist and slowly walking behind the interrogation chair.

Ye Shikai was puzzled, wondering what she was up to, until suddenly, a hand firmly grasped his wrist.

Although the palm was small, the grip was incredibly strong.

He didn’t expect this female cop to be so violent, and then, both his wrists felt a chilly sensation – she had actually handcuffed him…

Ye Shikai’s face was filled with disbelief as he looked at the baton in Zhang Ting’s hand and the sinister smile on her face…

“Hey, you’re a police officer, it’s illegal to hit people, don’t come closer, what are you trying to do?” It was clear as day she wanted to settle personal scores.

How could someone be so petty?

“That’s right, hitting people is against the law, but are you even human?” Zhang Ting’s voice was cold, and the baton in her hand seemed ready to spring into action.

“Hold on, hold on, Officer Zhang, I have something to say.” Just as Zhang Ting was about to strike, Ye Shikai cried out for a pause.

“What is it?

Want to beg for mercy?

It’s too late, I won’t let you off,” Zhang Ting said viciously.

“No, Officer Zhang, I just wanted to remind you to turn off that surveillance camera.

Otherwise, if someone sees you hitting me, you’ll be in trouble,” Ye Shikai said, glancing at the ceiling-mounted monitor and speaking to Zhang Ting.

Zhang Ting then remembered the surveillance camera hadn’t been turned off.

The last time she forgot to do so, someone filed a complaint, and as a result, she was assigned to traffic duty.

But that was outside.

Inside the police station, who wouldn’t give face to her other than the chief?

“No, why would you remind me?

Are you planning something sneaky?” Zhang Ting suddenly turned around and stared at him suspiciously.

Why was this bastard being so nice to remind her?

Something wasn’t right; was he up to something?

“How could that be?

I’m handcuffed by you, what else could I do?”

“I figure you don’t have the courage for that.

Since you reminded me, I won’t go too hard on you later.” Zhang Ting walked over to the surveillance camera and turned it off, then picked up the baton and made her way back to him.

“So, where do you want me to hit you?” Zhang Ting asked with a smile, but her smile was that of a devil’s.

“Uh, Officer Zhang, why are you so keen on hitting me?

It was just a couple of taunts I threw at you on the highway.

I could apologize, is it really necessary to go this far?”

“Shut your mouth, you scoundrel.

How dare you say that ‘my relative came.’ Do you know the last person who said that to me is still in the hospital?” Zhang Ting recalled the words Ye Shikai had said, and rage flared up in her heart again.

“Uh, but I’m afraid you won’t be able to hit me.” Ye Shikai’s mouth curled up in a smile, showing no fear from moments ago, but rather an air of confidence.

Zhang Ting was instantly baffled – what was he up to?

“You can’t move, let’s see how you dodge this.” Zhang Ting gripped the baton and swung it down hard toward the space between Ye Shikai’s legs.

Ye Shikai blushed – this woman was ruthless.

But well, if he was that easy to hit, his title as the Netherworld King would be for naught.

The baton swung down, almost instantaneously about to hit him, when an astonishing thing happened.

Ye Shikai literally vanished into thin air.

A living person just disappeared on the spot, leaving only the handcuffs hanging on the chair.

The baton made a ‘whoosh’ sound as it forcefully broke the chair seat.

Geez, had he not dodged, it would have been…

“Where is he?

How come he’s gone?” Zhang Ting came back to her senses, turning around and surveying the interrogation room, only to see no one.

“Officer Zhang, I’m right here.” A faint voice suddenly came from behind Zhang Ting, startling her, but thank goodness she was a fiery policewoman.

Otherwise, replicating a ghost movie scene like this would likely scare most women to death.

“Ah!

How did you get here?

Weren’t you on the chair?” Zhang Ting cried out, trying to question him with some semblance of authority.

“Handcuffs like these, usually, when I say I’ll throw them off, I throw them off,” Ye Shikai said, picking up the handcuffs from the chair and flinging them forcefully towards Zhang Ting’s wrists.

When Zhang Ting came to her senses, she found herself handcuffed instead.

How fast were his hands?

“How does it feel, beautiful Officer Zhang, to be in this situation?” Ye Shikai smiled slightly, tapping gently on her head.

Zhang Ting was shocked by her own move, which quickly turned to rage, her face contorted with anger.

If her hands hadn’t been cuffed, she probably would have pounced on him and strangled him to death.

“You, release me right now, or else, I’ll make you pay,” Zhang Ting roared, looking at Ye Shikai as if she wanted to devour him alive.

“Oh dear, I wanted to help you, but I don’t have the key, how can I unlock it?” Ye Shikai pretended to be very anxious, which only made Zhang Ting more infuriated.

No key, then how had he unlocked it…

“You rotten bastard, I’m going to kill you!” Zhang Ting charged at him, unable to punch, she went for a splitting kick instead, which Ye Shikai easily dodged, “Officer Zhang, don’t be violent, I’ll help you unlock it.”

“You, you, I’ll bite you to death.” Zhang Ting, so infuriated she couldn’t speak coherently, lunged at him.

Ye Shikai hadn’t expected her to react like that, and in a moment of carelessness, she bit him, right where Su Qingyu had bitten him earlier…
