The Bizarre Wizarding World
Chapter 814 - 482: I Will

Chapter 814: Chapter 482: I Will

This wizard and Johnson, it’s almost like... night and day.

However, no matter how different, this battle was as inevitable as he had imagined.

Chris silently retreated to the distance.

But he didn’t leave as he had previously said, instead standing aside to watch the battle in silence.

Originally, in the sky a thousand meters high, the Gang Wind was raging, but as the auras of Colin and Ron surged, these never-ending winds gradually stopped, as if frozen by some force.

Replaced by two huge vortexes caused by the interference of spiritual power and energy.

One was crimson gold, the other a faint gold.

The most famous thing about the Carmen Family is Gold Element Transformation. After advancing to the Fourth Rank, the Soul Body will inherit the sharp and solid characteristics of the Gold Element, becoming very powerful.

The two stood opposed in the air, the momentum they brewed continuously rising!

Ron looked surprised and slowly exhaled: "I underestimated you."

Swish!!

Before the words fell.

A golden sharp beam suddenly shot out!

Boom!

Colin neither dodged nor avoided, facing it head-on.

Just using this opportunity, he’ll test his own strength!

Their figures intertwined like light and electricity, ordinary people simply couldn’t see clearly!

Violent explosions continued to resound, the clouds trembling unceasingly, even the distant Chris could feel the fierce shockwaves, making him subconsciously retreat further.

The commotion from this battle high in the sky was clearly visible on the ground, ordinary people could only hear the sound of muffled thunder and see colorful twilight.

But the wizards could clearly feel the violent fluctuations from this battle.

However, the duration of this battle was shorter than expected.

At least, shorter than Chris had expected, it probably only lasted a little while.

Colin and Johnson suddenly separated, hovering in the air, confronting each other once more.

But compared to just now, their auras were somewhat disordered.

Upon closer observation, Chris was shocked to find that judging from their states, Colin indeed had a slight edge.

Ron’s left arm was unnaturally stiff, clearly injured!

While Colin was only slightly panting.

After a long while.

Ron looked at Colin and suddenly said:

"Today’s battle ends here. As for the matter with Johnson, it’s his own fault, the Carmen Family will not intervene any further."

With that, Ron turned around and left.

Watching his retreating figure, Colin had no intention to pursue.

After all, it seemed that this uncle was more concerned with family honor than his nephew’s life.

During the battle, just as he initially said, he was not there to kill...

But anyway, after having fought, everything seemed to be resolved.

Seeing Ron off, Colin once again invited Chris, who had been observing from afar.

This time, the wizard did not refuse and chose to accept Colin’s invitation.

Palace Reception Hall.

Colin and Chris sat across from each other by the window, while maids were setting exquisite refreshments on the table.

"Is everything okay in Leo City lately?"

Taking a sip of red tea, Colin exchanged pleasantries with Chris.

"Not much different from before, but recently, with the appearance of the Golden Solid Wall, many wizards originally coming to seek refuge in Wizard City decided to leave, and more chose to head to the Sea Domain front."

"It’s said that one can exchange wartime merit for islands with Magic Energy Ore Veins."

"It’s a great opportunity for ordinary wizards to establish their own sect."

Colin nodded and asked again, "Are the Divine remnants in the Sea Domain not eliminated yet?"

"No." Chris shook his head, "But likely soon."

Looking at Colin, he continued, "The real trouble is the remaining Divine Believers in Graham City."

"What do you mean by that?" Colin asked.

Graham, or the Extreme North, was where he was heading next.

"The Extreme North lacks food, so the wizards there only set up defenses and did not attack, planning to wait in readiness.

But once you set up defenses, the wizard’s forces become too scattered, and the remaining Divine Believers often form small groups of elites, frequently breaking through the lines to raid food supplies."

"Additionally, Graham originally had some grain reserves, so it will take a while before those Divine Believers weaken on their own."

Colin frowned, "At this point, one should concentrate on wiping out the remaining Divine Believers as soon as possible to regain Graham."

"Indeed, but at least for now, they’re just surrounding but not attacking, perhaps intending to gather all their strength to eliminate the remaining Divine Believers once the Sea Domain battle concludes." Chris hesitated said.

"If this is the plan, it’s reasonable, but it still wastes too much time. Each of the Nine Wizard Cities is crucial. The sooner Graham is recaptured, the sooner the wizards can begin their recuperation."

"And, I fear that these wizards aren’t even thinking this way, but simply don’t want to be the ones to bite the bullet and preserve their own strength."

Chris deeply agreed, "Yes, everyone knows that once they continue to surround the Divine Believers’ main force, they’ll inevitably perish.

Even if there are occasional small Divine Believers raiding food, it’s just a drop in the bucket."

"Because of this, no one wants to be the one to confront the last counterattack of the Divine Believers."

Colin remained silent, understanding that human nature is always profit-driven, making those willing to dedicate and sacrifice much more precious.

"In fact, I’m planning to head to the Extreme North shortly," Colin remarked.

Chris slightly raised an eyebrow, "For the Graham matter?"

"No." Colin shook his head, "For some personal matters."

He paused and finally revealed the purpose of inviting Chris.

"Tilamei Plain is right next to the Leo Kingdom, I would like to ask you to look after it a little while I’m away."

"Of course, no problem." Chris nodded, smiling kindly, "It’s just a small matter. In a while, I’ll leave my coordinates at the Communication Ring Tower. If there’s any crisis that can’t be handled, just contact me!

As wizards, we must look out for each other!"

Colin smiled, "I’ll thank you in advance then."

"No need for thanks." Chris smiled back, adding, "If you’re worried about the Carmen Family returning for revenge, you needn’t be.

That Ron is extremely rigid and serious, and since he said the matter is settled, he’ll stick to his word."

"I understand." Colin nodded, now viewing Ron more favorably.

The bad impression of the Carmen Family brought by Johnson was mostly dispelled.

After all, Johnson was dead, and having already fought Ron, the grievance was resolved. Colin was a reasonable person, and as long as the Carmen Family didn’t provoke him further, the matter was over.

Afterward, they chatted a while longer, and Chris left his address at the Communication Ring Tower before politely taking his leave.

Colin escorted him out of the palace, watching his retreating back, then hurried to the Wizard Tower.

In a room in the corner of the second floor, Shelley, transformed into an ice beauty, lay quietly on the bed, while Lillian vigilantly guarded by her side.

"Have there been any changes in Shelley’s condition?" Colin asked, entering the room.

"No." Lillian shook her head, "No changes in appearance, or in her soul’s fluctuations."

Colin approached Shelley, gazing at the witch whose eyes were tightly shut under the frost. After a moment of silence, he spoke:

"I need to make a trip to the Extreme North."

"To save Shelley?"

"Yes." Colin nodded, pausing, "I’ve asked Chris to look after Tilamei Plain while I’m away. If there’s anything urgent, contact him through the Communication Ring Tower."

"Alright." Lillian nodded, pursing her lips, "Come back soon."

"I’ll entrust Shelley to you!"

Colin nodded earnestly, "Rest assured, I’ll cure her."

Having said that, he reached out to pick up Shelley, about to head outside.

Since Silvester initially wanted Shelley to accompany him to the Extreme North, bringing Shelley there now is likely beneficial.

With Colin’s current strength, carrying Shelley with him wouldn’t significantly affect him.

"And..." Lillian called out once more.

Colin turned, and in his view, the witch was looking up at him, speaking word by word:

"Promise me you’ll come back safely as well."

Colin’s crimson-golden eyes met Lillian’s, seriously and solemnly saying:

"I will!"

With that said, he no longer delayed, turning to head toward Graham with Shelley.
