Song Qiao looked at the photos, flipped through them, laughed, and turned her head to ask Ning Wan directly, "What did Song Xi tell you?"

Actually, there was nothing inappropriate about these photos; they were taken secretly when she was with a man at a coffee shop. But since she seldom interacts with the opposite sex, even a few photos could easily become leverage for Song Xi!

Ning Wan was startled initially, then answered truthfully, "She said you’ve been kept by this man, what else could she say?"

Song Qiao laughed, still looking at her, and asked, "So, do you believe her or me?"

"Of course, I believe you!" Ning Wan answered without a second thought, then paused and continued, "I’m just worried about that man bullying you, he doesn’t look like good news at first glance, and I’m afraid you might be deceived!"

Her trust in Song Qiao was unconditional, not for any reason but because they were close best friends who shared everything. Another reason was... Song Qiao had once risked her life to save hers!

It wasn’t that she believed Song Xi’s words over Song Qiao’s, but because she was afraid of Song Qiao being bullied!
