"Yes, I haven’t forgotten. Don’t I go over there every night? President Qi, what else do you want?" Hua Xiaomo said, her voice tinged with annoyance.

Qi Longbing looked at her and, after a long pause, finally said, "Come with me." Then, he got into the car without another word.

Hua Xiaomo glanced at his back. She really wanted to walk away without a word, but considering something, she still followed him and got into the car.

The car didn’t start right away, prompting an impatient Hua Xiaomo to ask, "Why aren’t you starting the car?"

Unexpectedly, he didn’t answer but instead countered with a question, "Didn’t you say you were in class? Is this how you deceive me?"

Hua Xiaomo looked at him and, after a brief silence, said, "Sorry."

"What, you lack confidence? Then, let’s extend the one-month deadline," Qi Longbing said, a mysterious light shining in the depths of his deep blue eyes.

Something indescribable felt like it was steadily falling, bringing a faint, not-too-intense pain.

Qi Longbing glanced at her. "Get out of the car." Inside, however, he was sneering. He said nothing more and swiftly opened the car door.
