A series of wild fantasies inexplicably began to race through Yu Bao’s mind, making him feel exceptionally excited and fired up. He had to find another opportunity to perform well.

「On the other end,」 Qi Longbing hadn’t reached McDonald’s yet when he saw a familiar figure stepping out from inside—none other than Hua Xiaomo.

Qi Longbing watched her purposefully head off. Not in a hurry to call out to her, he silently followed.

He wondered what exactly this woman was up to.

Qi Longbing followed Hua Xiaomo through the Ouhong Shopping Mall’s retail area and then to the office building on the mall’s east side.

He followed until he saw her enter an elevator made of transparent, round glass, which was clearly visible from the outside.

When Hua Xiaomo boarded that elevator, Qi Longbing quickly sidestepped behind a nearby cylindrical pillar. He remained hidden until the elevator doors closed.

Qi Longbing immediately took out his luxurious Vertu cell phone and said rapidly, "Yu Bao, Ouhong Shopping Mall, east side office building. She got on the glass observation elevator. Use binoculars immediately to find out which floor she’s going to."

"Understood." Upon receiving his boss’s command, Yu Bao immediately used his high-tech binoculars to observe the scene.

Sure enough, he spotted the glass observation elevator in the east-side office building. Yu Bao zoomed in, getting a clear view of Hua Xiaomo. At that moment, Hua Xiaomo happened to be standing near the glass on the outward-facing side.

A moment later, the phone rang. "President Qi, Miss Hua appears to have gone to the top floor."

Qi Longbing remained silent, his eyes narrowing slightly. The top floor...

Qi Longbing quickly pressed the elevator button and went straight to the top floor.

When Qi Longbing stepped out of the elevator, he saw a vast, hemispherical exhibition hall before him. The perimeter, however, was guarded by layers of security. Although many people were looking on, few were actually entering.

He didn’t see Hua Xiaomo, however. It was highly probable she had already entered the exhibition hall.

Without hesitating, Qi Longbing put one hand in his pocket and strode quickly towards the exhibition hall entrance.

"Excuse me, sir, this exhibition isn’t open to the public," a tall, graceful hostess in a qipao approached and said.

Qi Longbing glanced at her, his eyebrow arching disdainfully. "Since when am I barred from an exhibition organized by Gasia?"

"You are...?" The hostess, momentarily stunned, recovered quickly. "May I ask for your identification, please?"

"I don’t. However, I could give your Director Zhang a call and commend you on your diligence and sense of responsibility," Qi Longbing said with a faint smile, though a hint of thinly veiled sarcasm flickered in his eyes.

At this point, a portly manager hurried over, roughly brushing the hostess aside. With a fawning smile that crinkled his face like a Shar-Pei’s, he addressed Qi Longbing, "Ah, President Qi! It truly is you! I thought my old eyes were deceiving me..."

"May I go in now?"

"Yes, yes, of course, you may! President Qi, your esteemed presence is an honor we could scarcely hope for!"

The manager looked at Qi Longbing, his face wreathed in a fawning smile.
