Chapter 88: Chapter 88: RESULTS 7

"Are you feeling wronged?" Zara asked playfully as she massaged her palm weakly.

[Princess, you really played us today. Haha, this is so hilarious.]

[You .... Yeah, you are really cunning but I love it.]

[Haha, there is no such thing that comes so easily like that.]

[Now we get to see the real battle. I am curious as to how many votes the final winner would get.]

[In the last session, I counted and saw that around five million votes were cast.]

[That is quite ... we are truly doing it big.]

[Hye guys, check Ioniq guys.]

[No, let Princess show it to us. If we all go there, what will happen?]

[@ Princess, check your Ioniq.]

[Something crazy is happening there!]

Seeing the fans tagging her continuously in the comment section, Zara became curious about what was happening.

So, she texted the IT team to show her on the huge screen what was happening.

Moments later, without delay, the huge screen split into two. And on the screen what the fans and viewers were clamoring about could be seen.

And the first thing that they showed her was something that made her choke, her eyes becoming teary at the same time.

[H (V): @ PRINCESS.]

Although there wasn’t much said there except to be tagged, to Zara, that meant so much to her.

[Why is she crying?]

[Could it be that Princess finally got endorsed by H?]

[They should have done that from the beginning. Hasn’t she been promoting their products from day one?]

[They should pay her. If it wasn’t for Zara, I wouldn’t have, umm... I bought a new H phone last week.]

Zara felt complicated actually upon seeing that. She was happy, nervous, and guilty at the same time.

Happy that her wonderful father had recognized her hard work, and he did so, using the name that everyone trusted, H, the brand which everyone in Kuville and Dynalis knew pretty well.

To think that her father could put the company on the line for her by supporting her openly like that. How could she not be happy?

At the same time, because of what he did, she was nervous. Nervous that if she makes a wrong move, her family’s company would be implicated and it would be all because of her.

Those stepmothers of hers would truly roast her once they saw her. She didn’t know about her half-siblings, but those mothers weren’t a joke. Although she last saw them before she got ill, those ladies were scary as heck, especially the first mother.

That woman was deadly and the way she always looked at her, it was as if she had stolen millions from her. It wasn’t like she was going to inherit the family business. Wasn’t that taken by the first brother, Bradley from the word go?

The privilege of being the first-born son and a legitimate one on top of that. Among all the women her father had taken, especially the mothers, the legal ones, Bradley was the only legitimate son, and the rest were girls.

Although her father loved his children fairly, with her being loved a bit too much, there was no way he would have given his business to a legitimate child. They would have brought a lot of bloodshed.

Thankfully, the second brother Denzel became a doctor instead and the third brother, now turned fourth sister, was a celebrity.

Of course, her sisters were competitive, but their voices didn’t amount much to that of her father and Bradley.

So, she didn’t want to mess up at all, now that the support had come.

She was guilty because her actions might seem to have all been planned to make use of her family’s connections, which weren’t true at all. As the family’s youngest, didn’t it make sense that she uses her family’s products?

Why promote competitors when her followers were now around sixty million?

She didn’t want her family members to think ill of her because of that. So, her feelings were pretty complicated.

Seeing that, as a dutiful host, she began to interact with the fans, showing her gratitude to the many influential people following her who had shared the broadcast.

She smiled happily when she saw Shea’s account and Living in the Wild’s account among the accounts that had shared and contributed.

Her love for Ashley was a love that other people wouldn’t understand, and unless it was necessary, she wouldn’t bother to explain.

So, knowing that her sister was supporting her openly like that, she was happy. It meant that the other wasn’t as hostile to her as she was after the incident. Maybe when they meet, they will be interacting better than before.

[VOTING SESSION ENDING IN 3 ... 2 .... 1 ... END.]

Just like how the last and final round started, that was how it ended.

"Okay, ladies and gents. The results are here. Can you see them?" Zara playfully asked as she looked at the glaring top three winners on the screen.

The IT team had enlarged the names of the winners on her projector screen so that only those could be seen.

[Damn! That’s savage. I can only see those three.]

[Damn, did you see the gap between numbers 1 and 2?]

[Don’t even start, the gap is simply crazy.]

Zara smiled as she looked at the number of votes beneath each name. She looked at the figures the IT team had sent to her and sucked a mouthful of cold air.

’Damn! Where did these people come from?’ she was simply shocked by what she was seeing.

However, that wasn’t the time for her to continue being surprised. Finalizing the competition was what was important as well as announcing the rewards everyone had been waiting for the whole week since she never announced most of them.

"Okay, guys. First, I will congratulate those three with all my heart and say congratulations on being the first winners of my first-ever contest. And thank you for your dedication in joining such an impromptu competition."

"Because of all of you guys, I found company as I ventured on a journey that was new to me. Thanks to all your encouragement, now I can knit with ease and with full confidence."

"Today I got to see a lot of wonderful works and I am quite envious of your great talent and speed in doing such crafts. So, to everyone who didn’t win, thank you for participating and I hope that next time, lady luck will shine on you," as she clasped her hands together, she said with a smile hoping that those who didn’t win would continue being positive.

"Before I announce the rewards for the lucky three, I want to share with you some amazing information and figures which would definitely shock everyone," with a mysterious smile on her face, Zara said as she twirled her finger in her hand.
