Chapter 36: LIKE A LITTLE GIRL
Chapter 36: Chapter 36: LIKE A LITTLE GIRL
"Miss, which shop should we enter first?" Quinn asked softly, as he looked at the back of her head.
ZARA: Let’s start with the supermarket.
Zara signed enthusiastically as she thought of how nice the supermarket would be.
"Are you sure?" Quinn confirmed.
Knowing Zara well, the girl couldn’t eat anything cooked outside and with unknown ingredients.
Every single thing that she ate or drank had to be verified first. So, with her wanting to go to the supermarket, he was a bit taken aback. As he wasn’t sure what she wanted to do.
ZARA: Just take me there!
Seeing her determined, Quinn passed the order to the several people who were with him.
"Let’s head for the supermarket!" he stated without looking back.
Emma nodded her head in response as she continued to read the comments pouring in.
She couldn’t help but be baffled by how eager and curious the viewers were.
Zara was shielded on all sides. Two guards were walking in the front, four on the right and left side and five at the back. And then there was Quinn, Emma and Ava again.
The trip to the shopping mall had nineteen people in total including herself. As for the ones hidden in the shadows, she had no idea.
It wasn’t like she had much to hide at the moment. After all, those who knew her would simply assume that she was being willful and trying to fulfil a few dreams of hers before her death.
On the way, Quinn chatted with her about this and that so that she wouldn’t be bored. Zara listened a lot without responding.
It was already trifling to sign again as that would require more energy, energy which she wanted to save.
After moving for a distance while taking their time Quinn didn’t wheel in a rush. Making his princess feel discomfort wasn’t something that he wanted to cause himself.
So, one could imagine how irritating it was for them to make way for a slow-moving entourage simply because they had a sick person who was being willful to go out instead of being indoors.
When the entourage finally arrived at the supermarket, the managers had already heard about what was happening.
It wasn’t difficult to see that the entourage was one from a rich and powerful family. It was these kinds of families that they didn’t dare to offend.
So, when the group arrived, they didn’t stop them but gave them way so that they could look around freely.
When Zara entered the supermarket, her eyes were shining so brightly that those viewers who were watching went quiet for a moment.
[Nanny, is it really true that PRINCESS hadn’t been to a shop in a very long time?]
Emma’s expression turned bad all of a sudden after reading that question.
[Is it really that bad?]
More questions kept pouring in, but Emma was no longer in the right mood to answer. She was now looking at Zara who was just like a little girl as she forced the guards to bring trollies.
’What does she want to buy?’ she was curious.
And she wasn’t alone.
Zara’s parents were watching Zara’s stream on both the main TV in the living room and on their tablets as well.
On Zara’s side, she was just happy. Being able to see families and individuals selecting and buying food and other daily necessities was simply a blessing to her.
Although she couldn’t eat anything that the designated chefs of hers didn’t cook, which for now was just porridge and some milkshake, she wanted to shop.
With three trollies following her, Zara began shopping like a tyrant.
And that was even more so whenever she saw a familiar logo that had accompanied her from birth till now.
Her family was rich, and they dabbled in several industries. So, it wasn’t rare to see products from her family businesses being sold in several shops.
The first aisle she entered was for the snacks.
Before she was sick, Zara loved munching on snacks a lot. Every time, her parents would make sure that she had a surplus of snacks to eat.
Of course, she wasn’t allowed to eat them alone as she had to eat a balanced meal first before she had to eat her snacks.
Her love for snacks made her father purchase a company that produced chips, biscuits and sweets.
It was a company that was purchased when she was seven years old and until now; the company was still running very smoothly.
So, when she saw the Z-snacks as they were called, all she did was point at them and watch happily as the shelves started dwindling in size.
When Lena who was at home saw her daughter buying her snacks first instead of other things, she couldn’t help but chuckle heartily.
"It seems darling had never forgotten about her snacks in years!" she said emotionally as she looked at her husband who also had a smile on her face.
"She can forget anything but not that!"
Zara emptied all the snacks in her name. Since she the owner was here, why should she leave them for others?
So, after clearing all Z-snacks from the shelves, she resumed her shopping. As it was a supermarket, apart from snacks, Zara picked items like ice-creams, fizzy drinks, juices and mineral water from a subsidiary of the Hansley’s Corporation.
It was from the same company that made the water that was solely made for her. So, she liked the water a lot. So, she decided to buy it for her people.
The shopping alone in the supermarket took her over an hour. With all hands on the deck, the three trollies that were filled with junk food took fifteen minutes to deal with.
With a black card in hand, Quinn paid for the bill and shortly, the three trollies left the supermarket and were taken away by the guards.
After shopping at the supermarket, Zara who felt that she was just starting didn’t stop there but started entering the clothing shops.
She didn’t enter just any shops but picked those that seemed quite known. She wasn’t in the mood to check the less famous ones. She didn’t have a lot of time to waste doing that.
