Chapter 192: Chapter 192: WEDDING PREPARATIONS

"Is this fine with you?" Lena asked her daughter, who was looking at the photos on her tablet, frowning here and there.

Zara raised her head upon getting asked and flashed a smile at her before looking at the photo that she was holding in her hand.

Zara scrutinized the photo for a while, tilting her head as if she were thinking about something and after a while, she shifted her focus from the image to her mother, and answered, "Um. It’s much better compared to the others!" nodding her head in appreciation.

"Pew~" When Lena heard that, she let out a sigh of relief.

This has been one of the hardest chores she has done in her life.

With limited time to prepare for the wedding, Zara one-sidedly wanted it at first before everyone got pulled into the idea that same night, but it’s been hectic for everyone.

There was the issue of the dress, venue, guests, food and all that. On top of that, the search for the last relic was still ongoing. It was a mess.

However, seeing her daughter’s attention now focused on the wedding rather than the relic, which they hadn’t had any hope of finding so far, maybe it was for the best for things to go this way.

Of course, getting busy for her, as a mother, she found the whole process very meaningful. At least with her running around and doing this task in person, she was making memories.

She had reached a point where tears refused to fall anymore. She had shed so many tears that her tears pool was dry.

Instead of crying, bereaving and mourning for what hadn’t happened yet, why not be happy and make happy memories?

If death was going to come, then they would simply accept defeat. It wasn’t like they could evade fate if that’s what it really wanted.

However, she still had hope. Her daughter managed to escape death several times. So what would stop her from winning again?

"It’s good that you like it. We will go with this one and see that it fits before the wedding day!" Zara accepted the dress, Lena told her.

Zara nodded, accepting her mother’s plans, and said to her, "Thank you, Mom. For doing all this!" being sincere about this.

She didn’t know why everyone was enthusiastic suddenly to make her wish come true, but she was happy.

Although she knew that she was being selfish. And her selfishness didn’t even give her a chance to discuss with Amir this. The fact that even if she dies, she would die a married woman and to the man who loved her dearly in two lives gave her peace of mind.

Another reason for doing all this, in her attempt to be filial, she didn’t want to die as a maiden. Giving her family a son-in-law was her dream. Although this dream was getting achieved a bit too early, she just hoped that her family would die with no regrets in the future.

She didn’t want them to envy other daughters out there as their families attended their weddings.

At least, let them remember the moment when she wedded and walked down the aisle just like those daughters as well.

It’s been a few hectic days, with all the preparations underway, but she was the happiest during this moment.

She didn’t even know where to find the damn book, and there weren’t any dreams at all. Which meant that she was stuck, and it bothered her a lot. Thankfully, with the majority of her thoughts taken by the wedding, she didn’t have much time to lament the book issue.

All she was curious about at the moment was how beautiful she would look when she walked down the aisle. How handsome would he be?

After the wedding in Dynalis, how grand will be the wedding in Rozinya?

In an attempt to enjoy her remaining days on this planet, she wanted to have a taste of both worlds.

A wedding in Dynalis and let all her family members attend it. She didn’t have any friends to speak of, so there wasn’t going to be any. Even other guests weren’t going to be invited.

It was just going to be family this time around. If she gets fortunate enough to survive and get to see another day in the future, she will hold a grand wedding and invite everyone she can remember.

On top of that, she would broadcast to the fans who had been by her side for over a decade. She would make a spectacle of the wedding if she ever survives. But for now, she was going to spend this wonderful moment with her family.

Once the wedding in Dynalis is completed, they would fly to Rozinya, where she planned on getting married at the temple. No matter what, even on her last breath, she must get married there.

Plead to her goddess for forgiveness and also get blessings from her. And who knows, she might get lucky and get another dream while there.

So, these two weddings must happen at all costs.

**

As the preparations had to be finished in less than a week and for both weddings to happen in that short span, it was busy at the Hansleys.

Fortunately, with all hands-on deck, the venue and everything else finally took shape.

While those in Dynalis were busy, the same was true for those in Rozinya. Although I was unfortunate that those in Rozinya couldn’t attend Dynalis’s wedding due to the preparations on their side, they were looking forward to the second wedding.

Of course, if they forget the possibility of Zara dying a few days later after getting married, then everything sounds pretty much perfect.

Others were happy with this and others not so much.

Watching as these preparations unfolded, Quinn was starting to question himself. Was it right for him to keep on holding on to some hope that would never come?

He vowed to always stay by her side and protect her, but was he still necessary and useful in her life now?

Her family had shown their fangs and took out all the powerhouses that used to be in hiding to protect her. His little force now looks like a joke. It made him question life several times.

She was now getting married to Amir. Even if she was doing all this just because she feared dying, the fact will always remain that she had picked Amir over him. She would become his wife in a few hours and his reach towards her would be cut.

How could he accept that?

He was in a dilemma, and it was eating him up.

The more he looked at the vibrant colors of the mansion, the more he felt like packing his belongings and leaving.

But how could he leave and abandon her like that?

Quinn suddenly had a headache.

It was getting harder and harder with each passing day.
