The Billionaire's Cursed Heiress
Chapter 190: I DON’T AGREE!

Chapter 190: Chapter 190: I DON’T AGREE!

Inside the mansion, after bawling her eyes out, Zara felt much better.

"Sniff.... Sniff ...." She sniffed as she wiped the tears from her cheeks, a smile on her face as if she had found a new meaning to life, her expression confusing to those who were worried sick about her.

Lena at this moment had also calmed down and sitting next to Cade who held her hands in comfort though his eyes were red. The man had cried as well.

The room wasn’t as filled as it was before. Others had excused themselves, leaving around eight family members plus a few servants in the room.

Seeing that all the important people of the family were in the room, Zara felt that this was a good chance for her to shock her family for the second time this evening.

That couldn’t be helped. She thought that time was on her side and that the deities won’t play a joke on her and yet this time she could feel it; she was going to lose.

Even if she wins one day, the win would be received after getting tormented. She didn’t dare anticipate for much.

She alone knew that with this happening, then her death might be coming in a week, and that wasn’t something that she wanted to happen before she achieved a few things in life.

There was someone to whom she owed too much. She would never rest even after death if she didn’t do something.

Although her life was hanging by the thread, Zara felt that she needed to do this and get this done this week. This way, if she dies, then her wish will be fulfilled. And if she survives by chance, then the rice would be cooked.

Let’s see if they object in the future. Her plan was foolproof. She couldn’t help but feel proud of herself.

And since her thoughts were literally showing on her face, when the elders saw her suspicious smile, they couldn’t help but wonder what she was planning at that moment.

And as they were curious, Zara, who was even more anxious than them, spoke first, her words startling everyone in the room. "I want to marry Amir this week!"

"I don’t agree!" and a bellowing male voice responded so quickly it startled the already shocked people more.

They clutched their chests, shocked by what they just heard. All eyes were once again on Zara and then at Cade who was on his feet, fists clenched as he looked at his daughter, who was becoming unruly as each second passed.

However, Zara looked at her father with a defiant expression on her face. She gave unwavering as she responded, "Dad. I wasn’t asking this time. I am telling you what I want to do!" her tone was a bit icy.

That couldn’t be helped. If she asked for it, would her family even give it to her?

Unfortunately, she underestimated her parents and family members.

"It doesn’t matter if you are making a statement or not. I don’t agree to this marriage!"

"You can be willful as much as you want, but don’t you understand the period we are in right now?"

Even Lena felt furious at what her daughter had just said. She was already in such a precarious situation and yet she was thinking of getting married and this week on top of that.

"Darling, even if you are eager to get married. Do you think that getting married in a week is even possible? What kind of joke do you want our family to be?" she couldn’t help but chide Zara.

Zara’s cold gaze shifted to her mother as a smirk rose to her lips. She tilted her head as she listened to her mother chiding her and when she was done, she responded, "Mother, at this moment you are even thinking about jokes? Haha," she burst into a mocking laughter, her actions startling everyone.

That was the first time that they saw Zara acting like that, especially towards her mother.

"Darling, you ..."

Zara stopped her mother with a raise of her hand and said, "Mother, I have never asked for much in my life. I thought I was going to die, and I was ready to accept my fate. By then, the deity showed mercy to me and gave me a chance to live. And I am always grateful for that.

When my fate was hanging by the thread, it was Amir who brought more hope into my life. He held that ring, the ring that made it possible for me to even go on this journey to collect the relics.

Although it was expected, we still were forced together by fate and I don’t dare defy fate nowadays. I don’t accept that I will die and yet I know that with any mishap, I will die at any second. That’s how I am living right now!" she spoke in a mocking tone as she looked at everyone before her gaze landed on Amir, who had just stepped into the room.

"Dear_"

"I am not asking for much. Damn! I don’t even know if I will be dead or alive when this weekend. So, can’t you just indulge me like you have been doing all these years?

Does it really pain you to see me getting married? Must I die and become a virgin ghost for you to be happy? How can you even be concerned about becoming some joke at a time like this?" slamming the table angrily Zara yelled as she looked at her mother.

She didn’t know what came over her, but at this moment she just wanted to vent out.

No one knows what she knew. No one knew the kind of burden she had been carrying in these past few weeks. Knowing that she was going to die, knowing that the traitor, the person who caused all this mess, was by her side. Having an inkling of who that person was, Zara just wanted to vent out all her emotions.

How could they object to the one thing that she desperately wanted before her death?

How could they be so selfish?
