The Billionaire's Cursed Heiress -
Chapter 129: INVITATION
Chapter 129: Chapter 129: INVITATION
As she bled to death, Zara noticed that Zahrah seemed to be looking at someone and the way she was looking at that person looked familiar.
Was the saintess in love and perhaps got betrayed?
That was the question Zara asked herself, infuriated after waking up the next day.
What was wrong with the deity of dreams? If he or she wanted to tell her something, then give it to her in full rather than serial?
That was why she hated watching these daily dramas. How could she be patient to wait for years to finish one drama?
Damn just thinking about how Zahrah died and without her understanding why she had to die and how it was even possible for her to die. After all, wasn’t she the mouthpiece of the goddess of health?
Where was the goddess when she was dying?
Zara was pissed off completely.
Fortunately, the reminder of the trip later that day managed to soothe her pain away.
She still had other things to look forward to than concentrating on a dream, after all.

In the next week, Zara was never idle at all, especially during the times she could be active and didn’t need to take a nap or take medicine.
The last time she saw the city was when she was eight years old and at that time, she was interested in parks and other entertainment facilities for kids. She never bothered with much.
But now she was an adult, so how could she not even know where her family’s mall was?
It wasn’t just about the mall, but what about the headquarters of the company, the many shops under their family, and other places?
There was so much that she wanted to see and little time to achieve it.
So, in that period, Zara could be seen exploring the city, and she started with her family’s businesses without promoting other family businesses.
With her broadcasting her trips, the fans and viewers had a great time all the time.
With a manager assigned to her, a kind-looking lady whose external demeanor betrayed her viciousness and resoluteness, Zara no longer had any issues or worries about her broadcast. The dedicated two-faced manager could handle everything perfectly without any flaw leaking.
One evening, Zara, who was thinking of where to go the next day since she was starting to get bored with visiting malls, received a guest at her villa; her mother, who came wearing a smile on her face.
Seeing her like that, she couldn’t help but wonder what she was up to this time. Her mother was like a fox, filled with all kinds of tricks that Zara always finds herself falling for every time.
"My darling, what are you doing?" Lena asked as she approached Zara, who was holding a tablet in hand and wearing a mask under the doctor’s orders.
Zara pushed the mask down, revealing a faint smile on her face, and answered, "Just browsing places to go. Feeling a bit bored with the shopping!" earnestly responding since she didn’t feel like lying to her mother.
Lena grinned upon hearing that as she sat on Zara’s bed nonchalantly, without any pressure, and said, "Then it’s a good thing that I came here!"
Upon hearing that, Zara couldn’t help but become curious about what her mother had planned for her without her knowing.
"Hehe, a few days ago, we received an invitation from the program your fourth sister is currently on and they want you to become a flying guest." With a smile on her face, Lena gave the news to Zara.
Zara looked at her mother with an astounded expression on her face, in disbelief at what she had just heard. She couldn’t help but open her mouth and asked doubtfully, "Mom, you mean that the program Living In The Wild has invited me? Why would they do that?" puzzled by the invite.
"Hehe, we were also curious about that, so we spent these few days roasting them and finally got the answers which we are satisfied with."
Hearing that, Zara’s brows rose, anticipating to hear just the wonderful deeds her family did behind her back.
Seeing Zara’s anticipation, Lena didn’t waste any time and began to narrate what happened and where it ended.
After getting the invitation, the manager informed both Lena and Cade about it, instead of going straight to Zara. Although it was Zara in this industry, if her family refused, then Zara wouldn’t go anywhere. Which was why she did that.
When the parents learnt of the news, they were very sceptical about their real motives and intentions behind the invitation. After all, that program required the guests to work very hard and their beloved child wasn’t someone who could suffer even for a second. So how could she even go there?
However, during that period, Ashely visited them and sincerely apologized for how the production came behind her back. Apparently, in the next episode, the guests were supposed to bring their siblings or relatives to the show.
The flying guests didn’t need to perform as much as what the permanent guests were doing. It was more of bringing some flavor to the program and at the same time showcasing how these guests get along with their families and such.
Upon hearing that, the couple no longer felt repulsed by the idea. After all, they all knew how much Zara loved this fourth sister of hers.
Without telling Zara, Cade invested in the show and had the program receive a long list of dos and don’ts that they should be aware of if they wanted Zara to be on their show.
Zara was high maintenance, and any slight mistake might cause severe damage. Since they wanted a sickly princess to come to their show, then they must be prepared.
Unfortunately, the couple underestimated Zara’s popularity and the program’s determination to have Zara on board.
When they saw how the next episode seemed to have changed drastically into something that they could accept, the couple was left with no choice except to agree.
That was why Lena was here to pass the news.
And Zara, hearing that was over the moon. She didn’t mind that her parents had been keeping the news to themselves for days. She was happy knowing that she would be on the big screen and alongside her sister.
The fact that she had been invited was a great honor and one she felt that she could show off for ages to come.
After all, she was just a mere rich influencer online and nothing much. She hadn’t done anything much worth to be recognized and to the extent of appearing on such a prominent TV channel.
"So, get ready, you will be leaving the day after tomorrow!" that was what her mother reminded her before she left that evening.
And Zara was so excited that it was difficult for her to fall asleep that night.
As for the plans she was thinking about, what was the use anymore when she had something much better to prepare for?
