Chapter 329: Chapter 328

He looked at Edwin Blake, who seemed soulless, and without hesitation began to strike the code.

Edwin waited by the side, his entire demeanor nervous, as he looped the video of Ivy River’s kidnapping on his phone, the ropes binding her still stained with traces of blood.

His eyes involuntarily revealed a deep murderous intent.

In an abandoned factory, Ivy was tied up in the center, surrounded by bombs; she wasn’t even conscious when the kidnappers photographed her.

Watching the video.

Edwin’s WeChat rang again, with a photo sent by Gale Wiles.

Ivy’s fair face was already swollen with bruises, her eyes radiating hostility, yet her body was helplessly bound with ropes, staring fiercely at the kidnappers.

She even received a few whip marks due to her struggle.

Edwin sent a voice message, "I’m currently trying to locate Ivy, don’t panic on your side, I’m quick."

Gale coldly replied, "Edwin, if you don’t want to come, you could just say so and don’t have to bother with these useless excuses."

Edwin: "..."

Feeling speechless, he decided to leave the message unread.

Alexander Hodges had no idea what he had been watching, just felt the constant coldness radiating from the person nearby.

He dared not say anything, only silently prayed in his heart to quickly find out where that scumbag was.

Otherwise, he’d be the one to suffer.

Edwin took a deep breath and then harshly questioned, "How’s the search going?"

"Still determining the exact location. The vans changed their license plates over at Zijing Road, now checking the next time slot; mainly the timing is uncertain, lots of fork roads too."

Alexander wasn’t lying, Zijing Road was one of the main intersections in Riverland City.

So many vehicles gathered around the fork roads, despite being late at night, there were still many cars.

"Alright, hurry up. I’ll contact Big Brother and see when his people can get into position."

Alexander watched Edwin leave, utterly shocked.

Third Brother was truly enraged this time.

He always disliked bothering others, yet this time he’s willing to trouble Big Brother, even considering leveraging military district connections!

Looks like it’s really escalated.

Meanwhile, he muttered to himself, "Thankfully I didn’t wake up in a bad mood today, otherwise I’d have no idea how I’d end up dead."

In the middle of the night, he was chatting up a pretty girl in a bar, when suddenly received Harry Ross’s call.

Initially it seemed like there was no serious issue, but once Edwin called...

He was totally panicked.

Edwin only said a few cold words, "Come to the company."

Then he hung up immediately.

The man’s sixth sense told him Edwin certainly had something major going on, so he abandoned the girl and drove toward Blake Clan Group without delay.

Thankfully, he had the foresight to find Harry before coming in.

Once he discovered what had happened, he was stunned for a full minute.

Who are these people, so daring?

Ivy’s identity had already been made public, who dared recklessly do something like this?

While Alexander was deep in thought, Edwin entered holding his phone.

He took a deep breath and answered Gale’s group video call.

The other party seemed surprised at first but quickly regained composure, "President Blake, nice to meet you. We haven’t seen each other in a while. Didn’t expect to get you involved this time, sorry about that."

The opposite video was directly focused on Ivy.

But his strange voice revealed no slightest remorse, instead even a hint of disdain.

Edwin coldly asked, "Who are you? If you don’t want unnecessary fallout, I advise you to wise up."

"What?"

The man on the other side suddenly started laughing maniacally, "President Blake, your women are all in my hands. I advise you to know your place and speak properly to me."

Edwin furrowed his brows tightly, "Who are you? What do you want?"

Receiving the signal, Alexander hurried over to analyze and investigate.

But the opponent was clearly a veteran, adept with voice-changing processing, and even hid the call’s IP.

Gale remained silent throughout, calm and unyielding, not wanting the other party to gain the upper hand.

No point speaking with these desperadoes.

They were so arrogant, clearly prepared thoroughly. To ensure Ivy’s safety, he couldn’t act impulsively.

The adversary grinned insidiously, "Since you two are here together, it saves me trouble. Ivy River and Isla Sutton, you can only choose to save one."

Edwin hesitated, not speaking.

Finally, Gale spoke, "Ivy, I only want Ivy safe. If anything happens to my sister, I swear I’d make you pay!"

"You need to discuss this with President Blake. Once you two agree, give me a unified answer. My patience is limited, half an hour for discussion."

The masked man said, gesturing.

The person on the opposite side, guided, landed two punches on Ivy.

Ivy winced and gritted her teeth, "I warn you, don’t lay another finger on me, or I’ll make you pay!"

"Facing death, you dare talk back!"

After the masked man spoke, he fiercely assaulted Ivy.

Ivy expressionless under the beatings, screamed suddenly, knowing the video was on, "Brother, find Leon Peterson! Find him!"

The masked man sneered, "What good is finding Leon, even reaching Edwin is pointless, hit her!"

Edwin and Gale watched, their hearts aching intensely.

Gale sternly shouted, "Stop! State your terms directly, I’ll give you anything!"

Edwin followed, "Stop. If you’re targeting me, no need to make trouble for a woman. We’re divorced, she has nothing to do with me."

"That’s up for you to decide. Now I only need an answer. See you in half an hour, goodbye!"

"If by then President Blake and President Wiles hadn’t thought it through, then sorry, both might be headed to Hellsgate."

The masked man ended, showing Gale and Edwin a timer.

Call terminated.

Leaving Edwin and Gale staring wide-eyed at each other.

Gale aggressively warned, "Edwin, I’m telling you, this is non-negotiable. If anything happens to my sister, I swear I’d make you suffer!"

"I know, but first we need to find out the kidnappers’ location, and Isla, Isla should be somewhere else. I’m in Seaton now, seeing if I can rescue her."

After Edwin spoke, Gale began to laugh derisively.

"You don’t need to come to Riverland City, mind your own woman. Remember tonight, afterward Ivy has no relation to your Blake Family. Gale Wiles truly approached the wrong person."

Gale spoke scornfully, ending the call immediately.

Edwin knew he misunderstood but didn’t bother correcting, his mind chaotic.

Alexander spoke gravely, "Brother, their confidentiality measures are extensive. Could you call the kidnappers? I’ll check this Seaton thing..."

Edwin was getting overwhelmed, "Why didn’t you say sooner!"

"The location earlier was in Riverland City. Now I need to know Seaton’s location, hurry up."

As Edwin was calling, Alexander suddenly shouted: "Never mind, brother!"

But it was too late.

The call was already connected, followed by a sinister laughter.
