Chapter 214: After modification: Chapter 213 Negative Film

Ivy River only felt a pair of large hands wandering around her waist.

She was just about to break free.

But was immediately grabbed by Edwin Blake by the chin and fiercely kissed.

At the moment.

The usually cold eyes of Edwin were now filled with desire.

Ivy River’s fox-like eyes gradually became hazy.

She didn’t need to think to know how alluring her expression must be.

"Mmm... Edwin, it hurts!"

"Endure it."

Edwin said, suppressing his emotions.

The next second.

Ivy River bit down hard, making Edwin let go due to the pain.

"Are you a dog, Ivy River? You just ruined such a nice moment!"

Ivy wiped her mouth with a look of disdain, "Edwin Blake, I’m warning you, stop touching me here. Go to my house right now and check. If it’s not there, you better move out immediately."

After saying that, she turned and walked away.

Edwin let out a long sigh of helplessness, looking at his lower body.

In his heart, he comforted himself: Endure a little more, hold on, don’t make a fool of yourself.

What’s the big deal about this?

He had managed for five years, why couldn’t he do it now?

Seeing no end in sight, Edwin reluctantly changed his pants and went to Ivy’s house.

Ivy looked at him irritably, "Look wherever you want, but you can’t go into my bedroom because there is nothing..."

"We’ll know if there is or not after I check."

Edwin immediately started searching the place.

He was flipping things over everywhere.

Ivy followed behind him, "Can you be a bit more careful? If you break these, you’ll have to pay for them."

"Ivy, you sound like you think I can’t afford to pay..."

"No, President Blake is famously rich, able to spend billions on his First Love’s medical bills. How could you have no money?"

Ivy never missed a chance to sarcastically comment on Edwin.

Edwin suddenly turned, smiling, "Ivy, admit it, you still care about me."

Ivy rolled her eyes, "Who cares about you? I’m worried you won’t pay me!"

"Alright, whatever you say. Let’s go, there’s nothing on the first floor."

Edwin went upstairs directly towards Ivy’s bedroom.

Ivy blocked the door, "Do you not understand what I’m saying, Edwin Blake! I’ve already said, you cannot enter my bedroom. There should be boundaries between men and women."

"Hah, we’ve already slept together. It’s not like I haven’t been in this room before."

Ivy was at a loss for words.

She insisted, "There’s definitely nothing in my room. Check the study first."

Edwin didn’t argue with her, "You can tidy up your room now. I’ll check it later, and don’t forget Fatty’s room. Clean it too, so I don’t see anything I shouldn’t."

"Fatty is just a child; what could he possibly have that you shouldn’t see!"

"Tiny underwear. So small and reassuring."

Ivy was stunned. When she snapped back, she immediately cursed, "Edwin Blake, your mind is so dirty!"

How could he even talk about my son!

Edwin acted unconcerned, "Just so there’s no talk later about me demeaning his male pride."

Ivy immediately began to act.

He wasn’t wrong—Fatty was quite mature for his age.

If Edwin really did see something, Fatty’s dignity might be lost for life.

After checking the study, Edwin’s face wasn’t looking good.

He went straight into Fatty’s room.

"Ivy, did you hide the stuff?"

Ivy found it funny, she said blandly, "Edwin, not everyone is as dirty-minded as you. Remember that."

Edwin pushed Ivy aside.

He scanned the room.

Then looked under the bed.

Ivy said, "The bottom of the bed is flat, genius."

Edwin pointed to the door, "Go out and stop talking here. Don’t disturb me while I’m looking for stuff."

After checking around.

Edwin was frustrated, finding nothing.

Ivy sarcastically said, "What could be here? I tidy this place every day. If there were photos of me, wouldn’t I know?"

Edwin left and headed for the master bedroom.

Ivy chased behind, "No, Edwin, what are you doing! This is my house! My bedroom! You cannot check it!"

Edwin pushed Ivy aside, "I’m just having a look. What’s the big deal? Are you hiding some secrets in your room?"

"Even if there’s no secret, you can’t just search my room without my consent."

Ivy said sternly.

Edwin pushed the door open and, after searching around, still found nothing.

He did find some empty photo frames on the balcony.

He pointed to the frames, questioning, "Ivy, what’s this?"

"They’re photo frames of Fatty and Emmy from their childhood, just mailed from abroad. I haven’t had time to put the photos in. What, are you suspecting they are your photos from before?"

Ivy said, exasperated, "Please think about it. Our wedding frames weren’t even this color!"

Edwin glanced at her, he knew that!

But he still asked, "Where did you put the negatives?"

"What does that have to do with you?"

"I can’t recall now. I suspect you hid my photos. These frames are so old, I can’t remember clearly anymore. Understand?"

Upon hearing this, Ivy couldn’t help but feel a little sad.

She walked into the room, lifted up the bedsheet.

Grumpily she said to Edwin, "Come help me lift the bed! How can you be this clueless."

Edwin walked over to help lift the air mattress.

Ivy carefully took out the inside photos, cradling them, "I’ll flip through them for you, don’t touch anything!"

Edwin coldly replied, "Okay."

Ivy carefully turned through the childhood photos of Emmy and Fatty.

Edwin asked while looking at each photo, "When was this photo taken?"

"This one’s from their first birthday. The first-birthday photos taken abroad were really a steal compared to the ones taken at the city center, yet they made us look so ugly."

Edwin looked tenderly at the photos.

Ivy continued, explaining, "And this one, from their full month celebration. At that time, the hospital was stunned by how beautiful Fatty and Emmy were when they were born."

Edwin proudly said, "That’s because they got my good genes."

"What does this have to do with you?"

"Of course, it does! Vincent and I look exactly alike, Ivy."

Ivy rolled her eyes, "No, they look nothing like you. My kids have nothing to do with you."

"This one is of Fatty and Emmy on a field trip, their first day at kindergarten. The teacher organized the activity. Look, Fatty is taller than the other kids of the same age abroad!"

When Ivy talked about her kids, she radiated with motherly love.

Edwin was completely absorbed, unknowingly the two of them looked through all of Emmy’s and Fatty’s photos.

Ivy lovingly placed the photos on the table.

Edwin asked, "You’re not putting the photos under the bed anymore?"

All of Ivy’s gentleness disappeared, "None of your business. You’ve seen everything here. No photos of what you wanted. Hurry up and move out!"

Edwin smirked, "No, there’s still one place I haven’t checked."

He quickly walked towards Fatty’s room.

Ivy chased after him, seeing him stand by Fatty’s bed.

She mocked, "Do you think Fatty has your strength? He’s just a kid."

At this moment, Fatty came home, hurriedly rushing upstairs.

Shouting loudly, "Edwin Blake! What are you doing to my bed!"
