Chapter 212: Chapter 212: Journey to the Snowy Mountain

"Xiang Zilan, Little Bei, I’ve got some homework for you guys!"

Right before the departure.

Da Bao, Er Bao, and San Bao actually called Xiang Zilan and Little Bei into the room, earnestly assigning homework to the two little creatures.

Seeing Xiang Zilan and Little Bei sitting obediently in front of the three kids, looking as if they were seriously listening, but in reality, understanding nothing, Xiao Fei and Tang Yuxin couldn’t stop chuckling.

Watching the kids from a hidden spot, catching their amusing antics, was often the greatest joy for the parents.

The two little ones were very clever—Xiao Fei only needed to instruct them beforehand, and they would obediently stay at home.

Moreover, Xiao Fei had prepared enough food for several days, with water dispensed regularly and automatically by a machine, so there was no need to worry about them going hungry.

With light luggage in tow, Xiao Fei, Tang Yuxin, and the three kids boarded the plane.

Although it wasn’t their first time flying, every time the plane accelerated and soared rapidly from the ground, the kids were still filled with wonder.

Especially Da Bao.

When the plane stabilized in the air and began cruising smoothly, Da Bao immediately urged Xiao Fei to unbuckle his seatbelt.

As soon as the seatbelt was undone, the little one jumped to the ground with a swoosh, running around with enthusiastic little steps.

Xiao Fei’s private jet was exceedingly luxurious, designed for the ultimate airborne experience, even offering a designated observation area.

At this observation area, enormous special glass windows akin to floor-to-ceiling windows allowed Da Bao to place his tiny hands fearlessly on the edge, gazing at the wispy white clouds below.

Compared to Da Bao, Er Bao and San Bao seemed more timid—they didn’t dare to approach the windows.

The plane didn’t touch down in Rong City but headed straight for the airport closest to Gongga Mountain Scenic Spot.

Before departure.

Xiao Fei had invited his and Tang Yuxin’s parents, but neither set of grandparents appeared very interested, merely encouraging them to have a good time.

The plane departed in the morning, and not long after lunch onboard, they arrived at their destination.

After landing at the airport, Xiao Fei led the family off the plane, where the pre-arranged hotel shuttle was already parked at the exit.

Once they were seated, the family quickly arrived at the hotel.

Xiao Fei had reserved the presidential suite at a five-star hotel.

The suite had two bedrooms, one shared by the three kids, and the other for Xiao Fei and Tang Yuxin.

Inside the room.

A massive observation deck directly faced Gongga Mountain, renowned as the King of Shu Mountain.

Under the blue sky, towering snow mountains reached into the clouds.

The pure white peaks resembled swords, with the morning sun gilding one side of the glacier in brilliant gold.

"Wow...!"

"It’s so beautiful!"

Seeing the majestic mountains before them, the kids exclaimed in awe.

It was their first time witnessing such breathtaking natural beauty, each child visibly struck dumb.

"Dad, is that the snow mountain?"

"Yes."

Xiao Fei answered San Bao’s question.

"That mountain right there is Gongga Mountain."

"Gongga Mountain?"

"Yes, Gongga Mountain. Gongga means white snow mountain."

"Gong stands for snow mountain, and ga stands for white."

The little ones listened with confused expressions.

"But... Dad, the snow mountain is clearly golden?"

Asked Er Bao.

Tang Yuxin stepped in for Xiao Fei, gently picking up Er Bao and explaining, "Sweetie, you see it as golden because the sunlight is shining on it."

The children clearly struggled to understand.

However, as the sunlight became obscured by clouds and the mountains reverted to white, they suddenly understood.

The next day.

The family officially began their snow mountain adventure.

Xiao Fei didn’t follow other tourists in taking the sightseeing bus; instead, he accompanied Tang Yuxin and the kids, hiking along the scenic paths.

He wanted the kids to climb the mountain themselves.

In the highlands, the sky was much bluer compared to the plains, appearing almost transparent.

The air was fresh yet carried a hint of chill—despite it being summer, it was quite cold here.

Luckily, Xiao Fei and Tang Yuxin had packed enough clothing before departure, so even in summer, the family ended up donning autumn and winter attire.

The kids were especially thrilled, running back and forth energetically up ahead.

Tang Yuxin clung to Xiao Fei’s arm as they strolled leisurely behind, their slower pace still keeping up with the children.

The ground was covered in a thick layer of snow, and as the kids sprinted ahead, they left trails of adorable footprints.

As they ran, Er Bao suddenly fell over.

With a plop, the little one tumbled onto the snowy ground, rolling down a slope like a ball.

Instead of being scared, the girl burst into giggles.

When she got back on her feet, she was coated in snow from head to toe, prompting Tang Yuxin to laugh as she crouched down to gently brush it off.

But just then, the mischievous girl pressed her icy hands against Tang Yuxin’s face, causing Tang Yuxin to squeal before the little rascal darted off again.

"This naughty girl! She’s getting cheekier by the day!"

Tang Yuxin huffed.

"Dad, Dad! Look~~"

At that moment, San Bao suddenly waved her little hands from a distance.

She and Da Bao had assembled two snowballs of varying sizes on the ground.

"Dad, can you help us place the smaller one on top?"

San Bao grabbed Xiao Fei’s pant leg once he walked over.

"We want to make a snowman."

"Sure~"

Smiling, Xiao Fei set the smaller snowball atop the larger one, then added two stones to the smaller one.

And thus, a rather ugly snowman was born.

"Hmm... It’s so ugly!"

San Bao was visibly displeased.

"I have an idea!"

Er Bao suddenly exclaimed.

She ran to one side and struck a pose.

"Da Bao, San Bao, you can use snow to freeze me! Then there’ll be a Snow Er Bao!"

Da Bao and San Bao exchanged glances and actually began acting on the idea.

However...

The moment they placed the first handful of snow on Er Bao, she shrieked from the cold and bolted back.

There were plenty of other tourists also traversing the paths. Seeing such a handsome man and beautiful woman accompanied by three adorable children, many passersby gave envious glances.

One foreign woman, upon seeing the three kids, gasped aloud:

"What a lovely child!!"

Hearing this, Da Bao politely bowed to the lady:

"Thank you, lady~"

The woman was even more surprised.

She hadn’t expected such a young child to respond to her in English.
