Xu Qianli had been busy with work during the day and running around at night, spending every day in pleasantries and always making time to visit Fang Ting.

At first, every time Xu Qianli visited, Fang Ting reacted indifferently.

Xu Qianli had specially taken a leave of absence, busying himself with helping Fang Ting out of the hospital. He drove the family of three to the city.

He had already rented a nicely located apartment in the downtown area, which was thoroughly cleaned and stocked up with plenty of food and supplies. He settled the Fang Family into the apartment and even handed them a bank card to use freely, insisting they shouldn’t try to save money on his account.

Xu Qianli also assured them that he would take care of Fang Ting’s education and future job, promising to secure her a good position.

Fang Ting’s parents were extremely grateful to Xu Qianli, sincerely believing they had met a good person.

Seeing Fang Ting’s smiling face, Xu Qianli was momentarily dazed.

A burden was finally lifted from his heart.

Seizing the moment while Fang Ting’s parents were busy settling into the room, Xu Qianli stole a quick kiss on Fang Ting’s lips.

Surprised by the sudden kiss, Fang Ting first froze, then her face flushed red, and she bashfully lowered her head, unable to meet Xu Qianli’s eyes.

Xu Qianli boldly went a step further, tenderly wrapping his arms around Fang Ting’s slim waist, holding her close. "Fang Ting, just follow me from now on. I promise to spoil you and let you and your uncle live a good life forever."

A soft murmur of agreement came from Fang Ting, who leaned gently in Xu Qianli’s arms, feeling utterly blissful.

While the two were enjoying their sweet moment, Xu Qianli’s phone rang. It was a message from Lan Qianrong, asking him to return to Jiang City immediately.

After affectionately kissing Fang Ting again and telling her to rest well, and after greeting Fang Ting’s parents, Xu Qianli hurriedly left and quickly returned to Jiang City, heading straight to Lan Qianrong’s office.
