Wu Kui had the others go out first, then sat next to Long Fei and whispered, "Captain, the deputy captain was acting strange last night, staying in the surveillance room all evening. The young man, with half of the cigarette dangling from his mouth, was directly stunned by Long Fei’s slap.

Long Fei sneered, "Wang Ke, is it? Who gave you such a sense of superiority? Since when can an assistant director arbitrarily dock someone’s wages? When did this company become Zheng Tuo’s personal property?"

Hearing the commotion, the other security guards came out, confusedly watching the two men.

Wang Ke felt a surge of great force that threw him off balance and sent him sprawling on the ground, face up.

He cried out in pain and clumsily struggled to his feet, pointing at the group of security guards and cursing, "What are you gaping at? Tie this bastard up for me!"

Wu Kui was the first to get angry; someone dared to curse his idol.

He strode over, and Wang Ke thought he was coming to help.

But to his surprise, Wu Kui delivered a slap straight to his face.

Wang Ke, unable to dodge in time and just recovering his stance, was smacked to the ground with a resounding slap.

That slap thoroughly stunned Wang Ke.

His head buzzed, wondering how these security guards had the audacity to hit him like that.

Wang Ke took a deep breath, realizing he had encountered a tough nut to crack.

He brought up Zheng Tuo, feigning strength by borrowing authority, "I’ve said it, don’t ask about things you shouldn’t. This is a matter entrusted to me by Manager Zheng, how could I tell you?"

Long Fei burst into laughter, "Look at you, dragging your master into this again. Fine, I’ll just tie you up and send you to the Discipline Department. If it really is something Manager Zheng asked you to do, I’ll face him on the spot."

He waved his hand, signaling the security to bring rope over, and had Wang Ke tied up and placed at the doorway.

Exhilarated, he took a pen and paper and wrote, "Thief King Wang Ke, harboring ill intent. Stayed overnight in the security department without permission last night, please have the Discipline Department investigate thoroughly!"

It was almost time for work, and crowds were coming and going.
