The Beautiful CEO’s Dragon Blood Bodyguard -
Chapter 1099: The Descent of the Gods
Chapter 1099: Chapter 1099: The Descent of the Gods
This wretched woman was none other than Ding Xue.
She had achieved a breakthrough to the Core Formation Stage in the secret realm, and after returning, she had planned to resign and focus solely on her cultivation.
But she was inadvertently swept up in a poisoning case, and with her character, she could not let it go easily; disregarding orders, she went alone to Dongying to investigate.
The case was supposed to be straightforward, with just a group of ordinary people behind it.
With her cultivation level at the Core Formation Stage, Ding Xue could walk sideways through Dongying.
However, it just so happened that the Anpei Longen had bought the rights to this route.
A group of ninjas hidden in the shadows struck, entangling Ding Xue in a chase and fight in Tokyo City that lasted for three days.
Armed with the Celestial Master Sword and the Dragon-Tiger Seal, Ding Xue killed over a hundred enemies, including a dozen or so Earth Ninjas.
The Anpei Family was enraged, and ultimately, more than a dozen Celestial Ninjas were dispatched to trap Ding Xue.
The rank of Celestial Ninja in Dongying is the highest cultivation level besides their patriarchs, equivalent to the Core Formation Stage in Huaxia.
Now, ordinary ropes could not possibly bind Ding Xue.
The thing wrapped around her was the Anpei Family’s ancestral secret treasure, the Dragon-binding Rope.
This artifact was left behind by Xuu Fu, who brought it over during his eastern travels; this very Sunlight Deity had left many good things for his children in Dongying.
Anpei Longen was sipping his wine, watching with great interest the beauty before him.
Ding Xue, with eyes red with rage, cursed, "Bastard, you do all kinds of evil, you truly deserve a wretched death."
Anpei Longen was fluent in the Huaxia language; the Yin Yang Technique inherited by the ninja families originated from the Yin Yang Sect of Huaxia.
Studying the Huaxia language enabled one to learn higher levels of Yin Yang Technique.
He put down his cup and said calmly, "Our standpoints differ, so what is considered good and evil naturally differs too. Those ninjas who died by your hand had families. In the eyes of their loved ones, aren’t you also a villain?"
"You’re good at sophistry."
Ding Xue retorted sharply.
"It’s the truth."
Anpei Longen shrugged his shoulders, poured a cup full of red wine, and held it up to Ding Xue, saying, "Although our standpoints diverge, there are still many things we can learn from each other. Like the Huaxia spells you have learned, or our bodies, or even our spirit souls."
His eyes revealed a wicked glint, like a ravenous wolf eying a little lamb.
Ding Xue cursed vehemently, "Don’t even dream about it, I’d rather die than satisfy you. Better to kill me quickly, otherwise, even as a ghost, I won’t let you off."
Anpei Longen laughed arrogantly, "A Huaxia woman, you’re precisely to my taste. I have always liked to tame wild mares; the wilder they are, the more they stir a sense of conquest. We both are cultivators; what’s this talk of ghosts? The Anpei household fears nothing, especially not ghosts."
He flipped his wrist and poured the red wine over Ding Xue’s head.
Ding Xue couldn’t move, forced to endure his humiliation.
The Dragon-binding Rope contained divine power, capable of constraining a person’s mana, and she couldn’t even muster the strength to move.
She lamented inwardly, regretting not having concentrated more on her cultivation journey.
When Long Fei urged her to train hard, she always acted carelessly and half-heartedly.
Determined in her heart, she just wanted to die quickly and not be defiled by this foreign devil.
In this lifetime, the only man who could touch her was that guy.
It was a pity he was in another world now, he wouldn’t come out of the blue and protect her like before.
Ding Xue was gathering strength, preparing to throw herself out the window of the room.
Anpei Longen seemed to see through her intentions and reminded her with a smile, "Huaxia woman, don’t harbor any delusions of suicide. This room is surrounded by wards; you can’t possibly escape from here. If you comply obediently, I might consider showing mercy."
"In your dreams!"
Ding Xue shouted fiercely, as a talisman suddenly rose up.
It was something she learned while following the Talisman Engraving Sect in the secret realm, a Fire Thunder Talisman she had personally crafted.
By simply leveraging a little spiritual power, it could generate a violent explosion.
She struck the corrugated iron of the warehouse beside her, and the talisman burst forth with fire, thundering explosively.
The defensive enchantment on the wall outside was adequate for ordinary people, but clearly ineffective against such a Fire Thunder Talisman, soon tearing a hole through it.
The sea breeze swept in, wreaking havoc and tossing the interior contents all around.
"Farewell, you damn fool."
Ding Xue closed her eyes, without any hesitation, she darted through the hole.
It all happened in the blink of an eye; Anpei Longen simply couldn’t prevent it.
The sudden loud noise had startled everyone, leaving them momentarily incapable of reacting.
The warehouse was over ten meters tall, the height of a five-story building.
Ding Xue floated mid-air, feeling exhilarated, thinking to herself that even in death, she’d leave behind a clean corpse!
She waited to hit the ground, her head expected to splatter blood upon impact.
But suddenly, she was bound by something, as if she had fallen onto cotton, and then she was tightly wrapped up in a pair of strong arms.
Ding Xue thought it was the enemy’s doing and cursed out of despair, "Bastard, son of a bitch, little devil, if you have the guts then kill me!"
"Fool, open your eyes and see who I am!"
The emotion in the man’s voice as he held her reached deep into Ding Xue’s heart.
She opened her eyes, totally stunned and thought she was dreaming, her hand involuntarily pinched the man’s face.
"The flesh is warm, oh my god, am I not dreaming?"
She was surprised and overjoyed, tears welling up in her eyes as she hugged Long Fei and cried like a wronged little girl.
Chu Feng coughed twice beside them and said with a laugh, "Hey, can you two be mushy somewhere else?"
Inside the warehouse, Anpei Longen and a group of ninjas had already surrounded them.
Seeing Long Fei and Chu Feng, they were taken aback and yelled out, "Who the hell are you?"
Long Fei put Ding Xue down and looked at them with a faint smile, "I’m your father, and he’s your godfather, aren’t you going to come over and pay your respects?"
Chu Feng laughed and added, "Son, back then your mother was broke and let both of us have her, hence you were born. Your father has come to find you, so kneel down and acknowledge us!"
From grief to joy, Ding Xue felt almost delirious.
Hearing Long Fei’s words, she burst into laughter, thinking that these two guys were just too much.
Somehow, they had appeared out of the blue from the Secret Realm, yet they were just the same as before.
Anpei Longen was furious, realizing that Long Fei and Chu Feng were no ordinary people, otherwise, they wouldn’t have been able to break into the ninjas’ patrolled area unscathed.
He was unaware that the hundreds of ninjas stationed outside had all been dealt with by Long Fei and Chu Feng.
They had not been able to find this place initially but were attracted here by the explosion in the warehouse. Using their Divine Sense, they quickly rushed to rescue Ding Xue.
Anpei Longen waved his hand and drew a Dongying Longsword from his Qiankun Bag.
Ding Xue anxiously said from behind, "Quick, untie me, I want to kill that bastard myself."
Having nearly been violated in Anpei Longen’s hands, Ding Xue was seething with bottled-up anger.
Anpei Longen cursed coldly, "Stupid woman, keep dreaming. This is the Dragon-binding Rope passed down by the Anpei family; it’s not something you can break, and even an Immortal wouldn’t be able to."
"Like father, like son, no sense at all."
Long Fei shook his head, reached out directly, and simply pulled at it, as if tugging at a young sapling.
Without seeming to exert any effort, with a ’bang,’ he tore the Dragon-binding Rope in half.
"God?"
"How is that possible?"
"It broke?"
"But this is a Magical Treasure passed down by the ancestors?"
A group of ninjas, including Anpei Longen, was utterly dumbfounded, as the treasure reputed to be able to bind an Azure Dragon was just so easily snapped in two.
