Chapter 722: Chapter 700:

Zhang Bufen was becoming impatient, eager to wipe out the Fierce Tiger Gang immediately, to annihilate them, to obliterate them. But some things need to be done step by step. Zhang Bufen had gotten out of the car a full kilometer away from the enemy’s abandoned factory, ready for action. Hundreds of men carrying axes and dozens of guns swiftly moved to encircle the abandoned factory.

"Big Brother, why do I feel something’s off?" Zhang Bufen’s Think Tank expressed his doubts.

"Hmm? Is something amiss?" Zhang Bufen was startled.

"We’re this close to their hiding spot, and they don’t have a single person on guard?" Think Tank frowned and said, "If it were me, I definitely wouldn’t make such a foolish mistake!"

"Hehe, Think Tank, stop worrying!" Zhang Bufen grinned, "Maybe they’re all asleep this late!"

"Impossible, right?" Think Tank was taken aback, "Even the worst leader knows about sentinels, both covert and overt, not to mention, this concerns the lives of hundreds!"

"Enough talk!" Zhang Bufen, growing impatient, said, "Charge, there’s a hefty reward for whoever kills Hei Hu first!"

"Yes!" The crowd instantly launched an attack on the abandoned factory, hundreds of men wielding Big Choppers charged swiftly, their assault force unimaginably massive.

Zhang Bufen stood at the rear, watching the troops he had personally trained—while they seemed formidable, in reality, it was all just a façade. Zhang Bufen was feeling quite smug, head held high and chest puffed out, his face showing a gleeful expression. Suddenly, lights flared on in the abandoned factory as if they had detected the disturbance outside. Zhang Bufen laughed, "Noticing now is too late!"

However, just as Zhang Bufen believed his men were about to trample over the enemy, the enemy’s building suddenly spat out bursts of flames.

Pop pop pop...

The sound of intense gunfire left Zhang Bufen’s men caught off guard. Those in front immediately fell into pools of blood, while those behind collapsed onto the ground as fast as they could. Zhang Bufen shouted, "Charge, they’re just struggling in their last throes!"

Unfortunately, faced with death, no one heeded Zhang Bufen’s command—they continued to inch forward on the ground, not willing to gamble with their lives. The dozens of men at the front had already attested to the certainty of death.

Zhang Bufen was now furious, grinding his teeth, "Gunners, ready!"

"Yes!" The twenty or so guns were Zhang Bufen’s last trump card, hoping they could blaze a path open. The gunners obeyed Zhang Bufen’s order and charged forward, opening fire. Both sides were engaged in a relentless firefight, and Zhang Bufen was sure these twenty-plus guns could carve a route for them, but, to his exasperation, the enemy’s firepower was much fiercer.

"Damn it!" Zhang Bufen was fuming, "If I had known, I should have brought in an armored unit!"

"Big Brother, let’s retreat first!" Think Tank sensed things going south.

"Hmph, if we don’t finish them today, we’re not leaving!" Zhang Bufen was livid with anger.

The Think Tank beside him was dumbfounded, only able to watch Zhang Bufen dumbly. During the standoff, a new batch of men arrived, throwing Zhang Bufen’s plans into disarray. Even though this new force was just over a hundred men, it had Zhang Bufen completely taken aback.

"Hehe, young master, you’re quite busy!" Hei Hu, leading a group of over a hundred, emerged from behind Zhang Bufen with a smug smile. This left Zhang Bufen staring agape at Hei Hu, "You... you were inside, weren’t you?"

"Ha ha, young master, let me tell you, I’ve set up this trap for you from the very beginning, just waiting for you to walk into it!" Hei Hu laughed heartily.

Upon hearing this, Zhang Bufen was so angry he nearly spat blood. It felt as though he was being played for a fool, with traps laid out just for him to fall into. Zhang Bufen had the sickening feeling that the whole world was deceiving him. He stared at Hei Hu with rage, "That’s impossible, you’re just deceiving me!"

"Ha ha, you’ll find out soon enough if I’m deceiving you or not!" Hei Hu gestured grandly.

Boom...

Atop the factory roof, a huge light bulb suddenly switched on, illuminating the dark surroundings as if it were daylight. Zhang Bufen immediately scanned the area and saw that they were almost completely surrounded by Black Tiger Group members, who were clearly more numerous than his own few hundred men. Moreover, the enemy had taken advantageous positions, leaving him feeling like a trapped beast ready for combat.

"Damn it!" Zhang Bufen couldn’t help but curse.

"Big brother, what should we do?" Think Tank hurried over, his crooked nose betraying his fear—it was his first time facing such a large battle. It wasn’t just Think Tank who was afraid; almost all of Zhang Bufen’s men were, especially the street thugs and ruffians. These people had been casually recruited by Zhang Bufen from the streets, and their combat effectiveness was hardly worth mentioning. These guys were just ordinary hoodlums with some use in street fights; however, in such a large-scale battle, they were likely to be the first to run away.

"You’re asking me what to do? I should be asking you!" Zhang Bufen retorted angrily.

"In my opinion, big brother, we should retreat!" Think Tank shivered as he spoke, "The enemy is well-rested and prepared, while we are simply no match for them!"

Smack...

Zhang Bufen raised his hand and harshly slapped Think Tank’s face, shouting, "Fuck your sister, I brought you in as Think Tank, not to tell me to run away. I’m a soldier, after all. If Ye Chen can win, why can’t I? Without my command, no one is allowed to retreat!"

"Yes!" Think Tank held his face, not daring to make another sound.

Soon, Hei Hu and his men launched an attack. The over two hundred men he brought with him charged directly at Zhang Bufen’s rear. Zhang Bufen quickly led his men to resist. The feeling of being attacked from both front and back was terribly unpleasant. With just a moment’s lack of attention, their line of attack could easily be broken by the enemy. Zhang Bufen, having no choice, gritted his teeth and bore it.

Hei Hu held a massive Big Chopper in one hand, a weapon that seemed almost unstoppable. With this chopper in hand, he wildly hacked his way towards Zhang Bufen, who repeatedly backpedaled. Confronted by such a fearsome adversary, who wouldn’t be scared? But the pride inside him forced Zhang Bufen to swiftly mount a resistance.

"Hei Hu, go to hell!" Zhang Bufen gritted his teeth and exclaimed.

"Ha ha, boy, you’re too naive!" Hei Hu laughed heartily, raising the Big Chopper in his hand and chopping it down at Zhang Bufen.

Crack...

The two’s blades clashed, instantly sparking a stream of sparks that resembled the stars in the sky. Zhang Bufen was stunned by the blow, which numbed his arm to the point that he could barely hold on.

"Ha ha..." Realizing that Zhang Bufen was struggling to resist, Hei Hu burst out laughing heartily again, stepping forward with Meteor Step, then rapidly charged at Zhang Bufen. Zhang Bufen, caught off guard, quickly raised his chopper in defense, but Hei Hu’s massive chopper came slicing down fiercely.

This vicious slash actually split Zhang Bufen’s chopper in two, leaving him very much taken aback. As the enemy’s chopper bore down on his head, he cried out in panic, "Oh, no!"

"Big brother!" A nearby little brother instantly pushed Zhang Bufen aside, then charged forward.

Splat...

Hei Hu’s chopper came down fiercely, piercing through the little brother’s head into his body. With this one strike, the little brother was sent straight to paradise. Blood splattered onto Zhang Bufen’s face, as well as onto Hei Hu’s, Hei Hu touched it, his hand covered in scalding blood, which he tasted in his mouth, and then he sneered, "Ah, the taste of fresh blood..."

"Beast!" Zhang Bufen shouted in an instant.

Hei Hu sneered from the side, "This is what you brought upon yourselves!"

"You plague the common people, and today I shall act on heaven’s behalf to punish you!" Zhang Bufen said coldly.

"Ha ha, if Ye Chen were saying that, maybe I would be scared, maybe I would turn around and walk away!" Hei Hu laughed heartily, then said, "But you are not Ye Chen, you are just a minor character. Today, it may not be me who dies; perhaps it’s you!"

"Die!" Zhang Bufen finally exploded, his little brother’s blood stimulating his nerves and extinguishing all the pride he felt, trampling it underfoot. He watched as his own brother took a strike for him, a strike that claimed his life—a burden Zhang Bufen could not bear.

"Ha ha, bring it on!" Hei Hu laughed. Zhang Bufen picked up the little brother’s chopper on impulse, then lunged at Hei Hu. The two tangled once more. Zhang Bufen was ultimately no match for Hei Hu. At first, his sorrow might have given him strength, but later, lacking confidence, he was simply not capable of killing Hei Hu.
