Chapter 687: Chapter 666:

Ye Chen immediately notified Da Xia and Haozi downstairs via the intercom. The two quickly went up to the rooftop. Ye Chen glanced at the two pilots and said, "You guys should come with us!"

"Ah, no, no!" the two immediately shook their heads.

"You don’t have a choice now!" Liu the Tyrant stepped forward and kicked the two, knocking them to the ground. Then, he and Li Tieniu each grabbed one and hoisted them into the helicopter. Ye Chen sneered, "Get on, let’s go!"

Everyone boarded the helicopter. Out of curiosity, Liu the Tyrant asked, "Brother Chen, how do we operate this big guy? We used to be in the Second Artillery, and, damn, tanks and armored vehicles are no problem at all, but helicopters, we have no clue!"

"Haozi, you take over!" Ye Chen smiled. Haozi and Da Xia were skilled at operating helicopters, Haozi being meticulous and Da Xia having a good grasp of weapons. So, they made the perfect partners.

The helicopter slowly took off, carrying eleven people in total - nine of them plus two hostages.

The helicopter had just taken off when several armed helicopters immediately followed from behind. Additionally, ground troops also began to follow. Ye Chen instructed, "Haozi, use the radio to tell them that there are two hostages on board. Tell the following helicopters to stop tracking us immediately, or we’ll start shooting!"

"Okay!" Haozi immediately nodded.

After a brief conversation, the pace of the pursuing helicopters visibly slowed as they seemed to be consulting their superiors. Miyazaki Yama, having received the news, gritted his teeth and said, "Never mind all that, even if we sacrifice two people, we must capture this extremely vicious gang!"

"Yes!" Following that, the helicopters immediately closed in again.

"Trouble is coming, Haozi, try to circle around to their rear!" Ye Chen quickly said.

"Okay!" Haozi promptly nodded, then swiftly increased the altitude and, in a 360-degree dive, managed to shake off the pursuers and positioned right behind them. Da Xia immediately shouted, "Big brother, the enemy’s propeller is locked!"

"Fuck, shoot, hit them hard!" Ye Chen immediately ordered.

Upon receiving the command, Da Xia didn’t hesitate to open fire. The robust Browning machine gun, with bullets capable of cutting through any steel plate within five millimeters, immediately hit the opposing helicopter, which began to emit thick, rolling smoke and slowly descended.

"Oh yeah!" Liu the Tyrant exclaimed excitedly, "Damn, that’s so thrilling!"

After blowing up one helicopter, another fled, only managing to follow from a distance. However, the ground troops still posed a significant threat to Ye Chen and his team. Tanks and armored vehicles chased them along the way, firing occasional shots at the helicopter in the sky.

One of the pilots was killed by bullets from the ground. The large caliber bullets were still a significant threat to the helicopter. Thus, Ye Chen had to find a way to remove this threat quickly.

"Brother Chen, we need to find a way to shake them off!" Liu the Tyrant said.

"Hehe, don’t worry, I have a plan!" Ye Chen grinned, immediately picking up a case containing one million dollars. Liu the Tyrant, curious, asked, "Brother Chen, what are you planning to do?"

"Give Japanese citizens some benefits!" Ye Chen said with a smirk.

Immediately after, Ye Chen opened a stack of bills, then threw them out the window. The bills fell like snowflakes. Below was a bustling street. As the numerous papers fell, curious onlookers and bewildered sanitation workers wondered who was so lacking in manners. But when they realized these were hundred-dollar bills, they suddenly exclaimed, "My God, money’s falling from the sky, money’s falling..."

Immediately, a large crowd swarmed the street, with some shop workers using nets to catch money. Various unusual sights occurred on the streets, including people stripping off their clothes to grab cash. This hindered the Japanese police chase.

The police were frustrated; not only was the normal traffic order on the streets blocked, but also, many people were obstructed. Ye Chen and the others’ helicopter had flown away. The ground pursuit teams immediately lost their target, completely submerged in the sea of people.

"Damn, we’re done for!" The police, filled with righteous indignation, watched as their targets slowly disappeared among the tall buildings. Ye Chen’s tactic had caused multiple pursuit teams to become entirely lost amidst the crowd, rendering them unable to extricate themselves. Most police could only watch helplessly as the aircraft vanished from the sky, and the entire Tokyo had plunged into chaos.

"Quick, request air support!" the police headquarters personnel immediately called for backup.

After learning about the incident above Tokyo, Miyazaki Yama almost went mad, realizing that their cunning plan was indeed to demand one million dollars as a distraction. Thinking of this, Miyazaki Yama almost passed out, teeth clenched, he ordered, "Have the Pacific Fleet pursue and hunt them down!"

"Yes!" his assistant immediately nodded.

The orders of the Japanese Defense Minister were immediately issued, and a series of commands transmitted via radio waves reached the Pacific Fleet stationed at Chiba Island. Receiving the secret command, the Pacific Fleet immediately set out from Chiba Island toward Tokyo Bay—a mere stone’s throw away. Once Ye Chen and his group left Tokyo City, the Self-Defense Force stationed at Chiba Island could launch their attack.

The Pacific Fleet waited on the sea surface for the appearance of Ye Chen and others. According to current reports, they would enter their radar range in another half-hour.

"Ah, another boring day!" the Commander of the Pacific Fleet sighed in resignation.

"Commander, in my opinion, it only makes sense during the battle for the Senkaku Islands!" his assistant chuckled.

"Mmm!" nodded the Commander of the Japanese Navy, "Since ancient times, every inch of land has been crucial for the Great Japanese Empire, especially the Senkaku Islands. It’s not just about land; it’s about a strategic military location."

"Yes!" the assistant sighed helplessly, "To raise troops for a thousand days and use them for a moment, who would have thought we would use The Art of War by Sun Tzu to combat the Chinese? I find it rather ironic. Our elite troops are being sent on such pointless missions by those above us!"

"Do not lament; these are orders from above, and we can’t change them!" the Pacific Fleet Commander glanced at him.

"Yes!" the assistant immediately nodded.

By this time, Ye Chen and his group had completely evaded the pursuit of Japanese police and ground forces, and the helicopter lost its way among the skyscrapers of Tokyo. They managed to escape Tokyo successfully. Their temporary escape did not mean they were safe; the helicopter could not keep flying indefinitely. The helicopter was nearly at full capacity, so fuel was a critical concern—they needed to find a safe place to land and then figure out how to escape.

"How much fuel?" Ye Chen urgently asked.

"One-third left, approximately enough to fly about one hundred fifty kilometers!" Haozi replied.

"Ah, this means we need to quickly figure out an escape plan!" Ye Chen said, his head aching.

Suddenly, a beep sounded in the helicopter, and Haozi urgently said, "Brother, a signal is requesting to connect!"

"Connect, and let’s see who it is!" Ye Chen quickly commanded.

"Brother, the person wants to talk to you!" Haozi quickly handed over the headset. Ye Chen, slightly stunned, took the headset and asked, "Who are you?"

"What? You don’t recognize me?" a very enchanting female voice replied.

Ye Chen startled, his mind whirling like lightning before he said, "You... you are the Red Clothes Great Master."

"Right you are!" the voice replied softly, "Do not continue moving forward; ahead lies a massive trap. The Japanese Pacific Fleet is already waiting near Chiba Island. If you keep going, missiles and death await you."

"What exactly are you trying to say?" Ye Chen asked sharply.

"I’m telling you, head for a latitude of 37.36 north and a longitude of 143.50 east. I will ensure your safety!" The woman gave a faint smile and then disconnected the signal.

Ye Chen was somewhat bewildered, wondering why this person would help him and how she knew his whereabouts and movements. Could she have been watching him? Lost in thought, Ye Chen considered that if what she said was true, the Japanese Pacific Fleet was waiting for him. That would spell trouble. At that thought, Ye Chen fell silent.

Haozi quickly asked, "Brother Chen, what’s the situation? What should we do now?"

"Head toward a latitude of 37.36 north and a longitude of 143.50 east!" Ye Chen immediately directed.

"Yes!" Haozi nodded immediately. Ye Chen’s orders were the final word; he didn’t question or oppose them.
