"No, brother, let’s talk this over!" The crooked-hat was scared out of his wits. Shit, how did this guy perform a magic trick and conjure a dagger? He hurriedly said, "I’ll let you go, okay? I won’t pursue anything, I promise to arrest those guys!"

The thugs holding baseball bats were terrified, swearing under their breath, they couldn’t believe someone dared to kill right below the Emperor’s feet. They immediately let go of Duoduo and Wei Zhen and ran for their lives.

"The team leader, the team leader is dead!" One officer was stunned.

"Damn it, quickly call for backup and assistance!" Other nearby officers shouted.

Then, the officers pressed the emergency call button. Being so close to the Emperor’s domain, the Ministry of Public Security had set up a fast track to ensure absolute security there. With just one push of the button, a large number of armed police could arrive on the scene within three minutes.

"Yes!" The special police officers thought they were to take away Ye Chen and Duoduo along with several others. Just as they were about to make the arrests, Captain Liu stepped forward and gave them several hefty kicks, angrily exclaimed, "Did I tell you to take them away?"

"Hee hee, no!" Wei Zhen immediately shook her head. Just then, Duoduo emerged from the room with her favorite SLR camera, aiming a flurry of shots at Ye Chen and saying, "Brother Ye, I didn’t get to take many photos of you in Myanmar, so I must take a bunch more today."

Wei Zhen simply took off her thick down jacket; the apartment’s heater was already beginning to warm up, so there was no worry about catching a cold.
