Chapter 433 - 433 420 Pyramid Selling

433: Chapter 420: Pyramid Selling 433: Chapter 420: Pyramid Selling “Just put it plainly, it’s some sort of brainwashing organization, just like a pyramid scheme!” Ye Chen said disdainfully as he spat, “The Western Church, led by the Red Robed Sect Leader, who set up his subordinate, the White Robed Sect Leader, in charge of Western religion.

For instance, UK’s Queen has her birthday celebrated only after being blessed by the White Robed Sect Leader.

And also the Queen of the Netherlands…and the European Royal Family.

Essentially, those religious countries are fundamentally controlled by the Church Court!”

“So that’s how it is!” Da Hei suddenly realized, “So, this means that the layout of the world…”

“That’s right, you’ve begun to see a bit of it!” Ye Chen said with a grin, “You will gradually come into contact with it.

When ordinary people don’t interfere with their interests, they won’t get involved in common people’s struggles.

But once ordinary people touch on their interests, then they retaliate with a thunderous counterattack!”

“Then…” Da Hei was dumbfounded, “In the future, the growth of the Heavenly Reversal Gang will inevitably clash with the Western Church!”

“That’s inevitable!” Ye Chen nodded, “The Italian Mafia is backed by the Church Court.

Hmph…”

“Why would the Western Church meddle in Hong Kong?” Da Hei was puzzled.

“The Western Church deploys countless missionaries in Asia every year, but they have always been unable to penetrate the Chinese market.

So, they decided to burn the minds of Chinese people with fierce flames!” Ye Chen explained with a smirk, “These missionary fools, delusionally hoping to use their Lord’s light to move the Chinese people, little do they know how they could possibly coexist on the land bathed in Buddha’s light.”

Ye Chen and Da Hei sat on a container for a long time, each downing a bottle of strong liquor and eating some snacks like drunkard’s peanuts, fish skin beans, and such.

Ye Chen patted his stomach and asked, “So, what do you plan to do now?”

“Slowly erode the power of Fourteen K!” Da Hei said solemnly, “Starting from tomorrow, we hunt down a member of the Church Court every day and hang their corpse on the headquarters of Fourteen K to sow panic.

Then, we start targeting the confidantes of Chen Nanfei, making them die one by one.

I want Chen Nanfei to endure that mental torture, feeling like he is in the presence of the Death God every day!”

“That’s a brilliant idea!” Ye Chen raised an eyebrow.

This way, that old guy Chen Nanfei would probably be scared stiff, unable to sleep or eat properly.

No sooner said than done.

The next evening, Ye Chen immediately took Da Hei and sneaked into Chen Nanfei’s villa in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong.

They hid in a grove outside the villa, which housed several Church Court members enjoying exceptional treatment.

Chen Nanfei had provided them with fine wine and dishes daily, and fresh novices for their pleasure.

“Are you sure this is Chen Nanfei’s residence?” Ye Chen asked with an evil grin.

“Absolutely!” Da Hei nodded, now holding a sniper rifle, while Ye Chen performed the lookout duties.

Da Hei gazed at Ye Chen, “The security here is rigorous.

Not only are ex-special forces acting as bodyguards, but there are also Church Court people!”

“Heh heh, then I’ll just go in and kill one quickly!” Ye Chen smirked, then immediately flipped over and sneaked out.

“Brother Chen!” Da Hei called out in a low voice, worried about an accident.

After all, Ye Chen held a special status, and any mishap could be troublesome.

However, Ye Chen did not stop, moving as lithely as a cat, sticking to the villa’s perimeter wall which was equipped with surveillance, a layout Ye Chen had already mastered.

Ye Chen was now in a blind spot of the surveillance, so the security personnel inside were temporarily unable to spot him.

He pulled out something resembling a remote control from his clothing, lightly pressed it toward the surveillance screen, and immediately vaulted over the wall.

“Hey, why is there static on the surveillance?” An inside security officer was startled and hurried outside to check, but just over ten seconds later, the surveillance feed returned to normal.

The security officer came back, puzzled, “Weird, is the surveillance haunted?”

“As long as it’s fine!” another security guard replied and continued lying on his chair, sleeping.

Another guard tapped the surveillance screen a couple of times, found no issues, and settled back into his seat to read his newspaper.

Ye Chen leaned into a corner inside the wall, the street lamp outside shining directly into the surveillance camera, the backlight effect conveniently camouflaging him.

Seizing the opportunity, Ye Chen swiftly pounced in, a series of movements later, he had crossed the front garden and was now near the villa’s side wall.

Two black-clad security guards were alternating posts at the front door; unable to strike, Ye Chen could only climb frantically up the water pipes along the wall.

The villa wasn’t high, only three stories, approximately ten meters tall.

“Damn it, what kind of crappy house is this!” Ye Chen climbed onto the house only to find, to his irritation, that there were no stairs leading up from the bottom.

In Mainland architecture, buildings generally have stairs that go directly to the roof; but here, there were none.

Left with no choice, Ye Chen had to clamber over a wall to reach a platform over two meters high.

Beside the platform was a window, which, luckily, wasn’t pitch dark inside.

Ye Chen pushed open the window and climbed in.

Inside, the room was pitch-black.

Ye Chen quickly made out the details inside the room, which appeared to be a girl’s room, but the owner seemed to be absent.

He didn’t touch any decorations in the room and walked straight out the door.

Outside was a corridor, at the end of which was a staircase.

Ye Chen walked towards the staircase.

“Who’s there!” A black-clothed man happened to walk towards the staircase.

“Oh, I’m the new bodyguard.

Could you tell me where the Church Envoy is?

The Gang Leader is looking for them!” Ye Chen was wearing sunglasses, so the guy didn’t recognize him right away.

The fool pointed to a room on the second floor, saying, “Oh, the Church Envoy is over there!

Wait, something’s not right, how come you…?”

Before the man could finish his sentence, Ye Chen had already taken swift steps towards him, covered his mouth, and his dagger slashed across the man’s neck.

Ye Chen dragged the body back to the room on the third floor, then casually disposed of it there before continuing downstairs as if nothing had happened.

When he emerged again, Ye Chen acted as if what had transpired was as insignificant as stepping on a cockroach.

If an ordinary person had killed someone, maintaining such nonchalance and utter calm would be extremely difficult.

Usually, something in their body language or eyes might betray their inner thoughts, but not so with Ye Chen; he showed no reaction whatsoever.

Whistling nonchalantly, Ye Chen straightened his clothes and sauntered downstairs.

According to what the guy had said, several people from the Church were in a room on the second floor.

Ye Chen made his way there, encountering no patrolling bodyguards along the way.

He glanced around before knocking on the door.

“Who is it?” Inside, a poor Chinese response came.

Ye Chen quickly replied, “My lord Envoy, Boss Chen needs you!”

There was silence inside for a moment before a bare-chested white man opened the door, eyeing Ye Chen sharply.

Ye Chen quickly lowered his head, pretending to be very timid; after all, a Church Envoy held a high status here.

Ordinary bodyguards would not dare to make eye contact.

The white man replied, “Alright, I got it!”

Soon after, Ye Chen waited at the door, and before long, the white man walked out, cursing under his breath, dressed in a brown outfit somewhat resembling that of a missionary, but evidently far superior.

“Lord Envoy, please follow me,” Ye Chen said respectfully, leading the way.

“Hurry, don’t waste my time for enjoyment!” The man glared at Ye Chen, who quickly nodded and led the Church Envoy forward.

As they walked down the corridor, they encountered several black-clothed bodyguards.

Although they didn’t know Ye Chen, they were quite familiar with the Envoy.

They hesitated, not daring to question Ye Chen since the Envoy was present, and quickly bowed to greet him.

As for the foolish Envoy, he was even less likely to question Ye Chen now, seeing that those bodyguards he knew well hadn’t spoken up against Ye Chen, which meant Ye Chen must indeed belong to this villa.

And so, the foolish Envoy followed him all the way to the third floor, into that room.

“Damn it, what the hell is this darkness!” The Envoy frowned.

Ye Chen quickly pointed to a body lying by the window, saying, “The Gang Leader is feeling unwell, so, I hope the lord Envoy can give it a look!”

“Oh God, I am not a damn priest, what sickness do you want me to look at?” the Envoy grumbled as he walked in.

Ye Chen quietly shut the door and stealthily approached the man.

Ye Chen’s dagger suddenly gleamed, radiating intense heat.

He grabbed the man from behind, plunging the glowing dagger deeply into his heart.

The strike was so sudden and fierce, the man didn’t even have a chance to struggle.

After convulsing twice, he gasped in shock, “You…

you are…”

“I am the archenemy of the Church!” Ye Chen, with a smirk, said, “The leader of the Dark Organization!”

“Oh God!” The man exclaimed, then slowly lay down.

Ye Chen cleaned up the scene, then climbed out the window, ascended onto the rooftop, and leaped down from there.
