Yuki could hear her heartbeat echoing in her ears, her eyes slowly opened and the first thought that crossed her mind even though she was badly wounded was... ’Hiro’

She groaned weakly, she tried to move her body but she couldn’t. "Hiro" she murmured knowing fully well he must be in danger, the last she remembered was that he was bleeding badly, she has to get to him. She forced her body to sit while panting but her eyes widened in horror when she saw her teammates against the ground, she coughed blood and her body seemed to the giving out not until she noticed the presence before her, making her gasp and leisurely raising her gaze.

"Hi..ro?" she backtracked, no that wasn’t him, this was...

The aura around him grew more berserk and the Queen was on alert knowing that he was coming.

"Yo Queen"

Her eyes slowly widened because it was like her eyes zoomed in but that wasn’t the case, he was before her that was what! Just how fast was he? Even she couldn’t keep up.

"How long are you gonna stand there?" he set his sword and swung it, it was a narrow escape as she dodged the hit that almost took her head off, but that was a mistake, with a knee kicked she was zapped to the air,

He chuckled, going up to the air too almost like he was having fun, the ground cracked from the departure.

"LET’S HAVE SOME FUN!" he swung his sword but she quickly put up her claws using it as a shield to protect herself and they collided, he flipped them in the air and focused on bringing her down and he did cause a wide range of destruction.

Yuki was almost flung off where she was from the mere breeze.

The Queen’s mouth flew open as blood gushed out, his blade was already connecting to her stomach, about to slit her apart, but she was fast and kicked him off.

His boots slide against the ground, drawing him backward but his sharped nails duck on the ground stopping the force.

"Hiro"

His body flinched at the voice and he turned as his deadpanned look found Yuki.

Yuki froze at his cold stare, he was looking at her right in the eyes like a predator, she trembled as fear gripped her body.

"I WILL DESTROY YOU!!!!" The Queen roared gaining their attention as her aura dispersed wildly around her.

"Now now Queen, I thought we were having fun" he mused standing upright.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHH" she roared as her body beamed and she increased in height.

"Bothersome," he said shaking his head, he wasn’t fazed one bit but Yuki was, she watched with horrified eyes as the Queen turned colossal and roared, the mere sound shocking the earth.

"I think it’s the orb!" Yuki called to Hiro, even though she felt like a stranger in his presence but there was no doubt that this was Hiro. "Destroy the orb and you destroy her!" She knew their attacks won’t work and it was a hunch that they will.

His features turned stone cold, shifting on his feet he was up in the air, the force pushed Yuki backward.

"COME AND DIE KIMURA HIRO!" she roared.

He set his sword. "Wrath" he mouths as his sword gave a loud pulsing sound in response and elongates.

"AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!"

"GO TO HELL!" he yelled as with swung it zapping across her head, she froze as the orbs cracked but she didn’t give up there, she stomped on him.

"HIRO!" Yuki shouts in horror.

She slammed her foot to the ground making sure she crushed him, but a wide burst of blue light shone and he burst out unscratched, he zapped towards her again reducing the size of his sword and plunging forward slamming into the orbs and it broke.

She screamed as her voice shocked the earth. Her eyes rolled and pinned on him before her, a smirk was on his lips.

"Weak"

Her eyes were shock at his mere words and that was it, his sword elongated and he slit through, cutting her head off.

Hiro gasped as his eyes flashed open, he felt it, he saw it all, he saw what ’HE’ did and what more this feeling when the Queen’s head was ripped off.

"Mom?"

The bright light flushed through, and he saw her, her spirit form.

"You did it, Hiro"

His eyes trembled as uncontrollable tears spun free, the connection, everything, this was the perfect explanation, the Queen’s host was his mom!

She turned to him with a smile and his heart melted in sorrow. "Thank you for freeing me, Hiro"

"MOMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!"

Hiro dropped to his knees, his skin turning back to his paled ones, his hair back to their red ones. His sword dropped off his hand and he faced his palm against the dirt ground and then he broke into endless tears.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!" He cried like a hurricane and shouts to the skies in pain.

Yuki watch Hiro with sad eyes before forcing her body up and limping towards him.

"Hiro"

"It was my mom" he cried. "She was the Queen’s host"

She dropped to her knees and she hugged him from behind. "And you freed her... Hiro" her lips quivered. "Let it all out"

And he did, crying in the loudest voice like a storm.

The skies parted and the once dark clouded skies turned bright and shining on what was left.

Sumi helped Shino up, she was done healing him.

She smiled weakly and gave a nod almost teary before she engulfed him in a tight hug. Tears streamed down his eyes but in a silent cry.

Raiden gently covered Mizuki’s eyes, Ren cried painfully, seeing his burnt body.

Mosu stood beside them with sad eyes, watching the scene. "Rest in peace Mizuki," he says sadly.

Kaneki’s eyes were centered on the Queen’s decaying body.

"What are you thinking?" Mirai asked behind him who silently healed his wounds.

"Nothing" he murmured but then his fist clenched hard. "Just how useless I was in all this"

"I was too... we couldn’t do anything," she said with the same dread feeling, they were lucky to be alive after all that.

"How did he do it?" Kaneki said as his eyes centered on an unconscious Hiro, his head resting on Yuki’s lap.

"I don’t know," Mirai said.

"He’s..." Kaneki’s eyes trembled, as his heart swelled. "...amazing"
