Chapter 260: Operation "Break The Wall" [Part 3]

"Hiro, don’t do something as reckless as like that again, you have a weapon use it!" Anzai said sternly leaving no room for question.

"Can’t help it now, General Anzai..." Hiro said faintly as he rose to his feet, but Anzai could tell he was trembling, from the pain and everything else the force directed back to him.

The bangs of his hair covered his eyes, he wipes the blood off his lips with the back of his hand.

"Being reckless has always been part of us in battle" Hiro add as he recalled several scenarios they passed through.

Anzai froze at his words.

"You said it yourself General Anzai... we’re the strike team... tasked with defeating the Queen," he said as he slowly raised his head as well as his hand.

"We have to get stronger even if it involves us doing reckless things" he add as his fist clenched in a tight fist despite it being broken before, it must hurt, but Hiro didn’t care about the pain.

Anzai’s shaky eyes were fixed on Hiro.

"The Queen’s death is the only thing that can end the war... so the rest of our comrades who lost their lives in battle won’t be in vain", his body went up in dark blue energy.

He picks up his sword, rotating it against his hand despite the weight.

"We will keep going until then..." he grips his sword with both hands, tightly.

"Over... and over..." he plunges his foot backward like he was about to dash.

"Again!" he yelled as he zapped at the wall.

"AAAAAAHHHHHH!" he gave a loud battle cry sound as his sword was directed with more energy.

"Blood Technique!" he yelled as the energy went more wildly around.

The wheels at the center of his sword rotates in speed, he got close to the wall ready to plunge it.

"COSMO DASH!!!", the blade of his sword turned dark blue, he plunged it against the wall as the vibration and connection grew loud.

"AAAAAHHHHHH" Hiro yelled as he continuously pinned his sword it hoping to get a cut, but the force signaled back to Hiro as he was pushed backward.

But Hiro stood his ground as he slide backward, the floor at the impact cracking.

’He endured it’ Anzai thought, stunned.

Hiro took a harsh breath still holding onto his sword, he then grinned.

"I cracked it"

Anzai froze as his eyes went wide, he turned to the wall seeing the crack on it.

"We have to get stronger even if it involves us doing reckless things"

He remembered Hiro’s words, a smile found his lips, a prominent truth.

He turned to Hiro, ’Now Hiro... show me how reckless you can be!’

Hiro took a deep breath closing his eyes, he went into a position like he was about to dash at the wall again, his sword pointing backward.

’This time for sure!’ he flashed his eyes open as it beamed the brightest blue, ’Will bring it down!’

He zapped towards it, the blade of his sword turning blue.

"BLOOD TECHNIQUE: COSMO DASH!", he zapped right to pass the wall, appearing behind.

He quickly turned to the wall.

"Did it?"

What he saw was yet another scratch on the wall as bits of it crumbled to the floor. ’Not yet!’

Suddenly his sword shook as well as his hand, shaking vigorously, Hiro’s teeth clenched, it was the hit, it was affecting him.

Hiro went on his knee, using his sword to support his body, he took a harsh unstable breath.

"Tsk!" he made a sound annoyed.

SHINO

The area was filled with arrows sticking out the walls and floors.

Shino got in position to shoot yet another arrow, his body trembling vigorously, cuts and bruises on his body which healed, but that didn’t mean it didn’t hurt.

Not even a scratch was against the wall, but still, he didn’t back down.

"Blood technique!" he yelled as the two arrows he was planning on shooting beamed the brightest crimson.

"Rain of arrows" he shot it as it charged towards the wall in speed, it multiplied in hundreds, shooting through and slamming into the wall making a loud vibration sound.

"Blood boil" Shino quickly yelled as his blood within the arrow flowed into the wall.

The wall gave a loud pulse sound as it shook.

Shino gasped, instantly the attack was directed back at him as the steamed blow out, dispersing, the force pushed Shino backward, as well as the, steams coming in contact with his skin, the impact burned him as he yelled hitting the ground hard.

Shino whined in pain against the ground.

"Now Commander Shino... this has been going on for hours, and time is running," Anzai said sternly.

Shino forced his body to stand, taking unstable breaths.

’Still, no crack or anything, is this wall really impenetrable?’ he thought with trembling eyes.

His fist tightened, his looks turning grave. ’Even if...’ he brought out another arrow. ’I have to keep trying!’

His beaming bio-genetics eyes observed the wall, ’Even though it’s impenetrable there has to be a weak point... there should be, I have to find it’ his eyes ran on it, but where could it be? He just can’t keep shooting until he gets the answer, the attack will only backfire and his body will continue to get the hit, there has to be another way.

’Time Pause’ he thought in realization, it was one powerful technique he had but he still haven’t nurtured it because the technique literary drained his body of energy, the last time he used it was when they fought the second Alpha.

’This might be the only solution yet’ he thought for certain.

He closed his eyes.

’Hmm, what does he intend to do?’ Anzai thought puzzled.

Shino could hear his heartbeat, the only rhythm he could hear. ’Concentrate’ he thought as he took a deep hard breath and then everything around him paused.

He flashed his bio-genetics eyes open, just him aware of the paused environment, he had forgotten what it felt like, to be the only one moving in paused time.

"Now then," he said getting ready to fire his arrow, he would give it all he had because it was the one chance he got.

"For the fatal blow!"
