The media was on fire after the news broke out. The fire queen was found unconscious in a battleground, three terribly wounded high school students were found beside her and a directive was found injured and unconscious as well.

Triple X Corporation couldn’t figure out what caused their sudden disappearance but after Inori and Shida explained everything, to hide the truth from the world, they made up a story to cover up the paranormal incident that had happened.

Adonis on the other hand was again imprisoned because his duration of punishment wasn’t over. And they were curious about his ability so he was again put under 24-hour surveillance with strong guards always keeping an eye on him.

’But I don’t care. All I care about is my divine Qi stage.’

Adonis reached his goal. It was only a few decades since he became a demigod but reaching the level of a god at such a young age was a huge achievement.

His divine Qi stage was on level 5, which means, he was promoted to God. He was not the demigod of destruction anymore. He was the God of Destruction, the youngest god who reached the 5th stage 35 years after becoming a demigod.

’After my sudden promotion, I could feel my strength had increased more than a hundredfold. I can feel the divine Qi flowing through every cell of my body even though this body is just a host.

In the middle of his nap, Inori came and shook him to get his attention. "What are you thinking about so hard? I can hear the giggling from outside the room."

"Did you bribe the higher-ups or something?" Adonis chuckled and stood up to wear his flip-flops. "Or did you sign an agreement with them to make me your slave?"

"You’re really clever, you know. Of course, I signed an agreement. From today, you are my student and you are not allowed to leave my sight. I am in charge of protecting and guarding you so you don’t do anything illegal anymore."

"Ahahahah!!!! So you’re making me your slave now huh? I guess I can count myself lucky."

Adonis gave off an innocent smile.

’I heard they are arranging a funeral for those who died yesterday. They are supposed to be arranging for two but after police found some traces of Ryoko’s blood, they declared him dead and now his family is attending a funeral without his body.

Well of course they couldn’t find the body because I ate it. After using the mind-copying spell, I found out Ryoko killed his younger sibling accidentally while playing beside a river. Since he was little, he couldn’t tell anyone. He was afraid so he kept the whole thing deep inside his heart, leading his soul to form a huge dark pit.

He was planning to take it to his grave but sadly, he ended up in my stomach. Now, his soul is going to get ready for his next reincarnation and probably in a few thousand years, we will meet, probably...’

Adonis sighed and followed Inori who was escorting him to his new dorm. But right after they reached his new room, Adonis said, "I want to see their graves after the funeral is over."

"You.. You’re talking about your friends? Oh.. yeah.. I forgot that you’re still a high school student and have friends. It’s so nice being young, huh? What about your parents? Aren’t you going to see them?"

"I see... but I am surprised that Elesis is on my back now. From what I heard from my master that he was given punishment by Lucifer for seeking into his office. Did he run away from his job now? Lucifer is not going to like it."

"Both of you, just shut up!" But before she could even say another word, Yir smashed her head on the floor and warned, "If you let another word out of your filthy mortal mouth, say goodbye to your life."

"Tsk.. Yir. Don’t be too harsh on her. Heal her wounds and let’s go. We have lots to do back in Helsia."

"It’s about Lord Lucifer. He visited Lord Viktor not too long ago."

His jaw dropped after hearing Lucifer come down from his territory to meet Viktor in the mortal world. ’So something big must be going on which made Lucifer meet my master. Is this about Name’s dinner invitation, or something else? I need to check on my master to see if he is okay.’

Yir continued, "But Lord Viktor seemed calmed and happy about something. After he left, he went inside his dimension room and it’s been a week since I have last seen him. I think he is busy with something very important.’

Yir again continued, "Now I shall deliver the message Lord Viktor had ordered me, "You’re doing well, Adonis. Congratulations on becoming a God." It was given by him a week ago from the world where he is currently staying for his quest."

Adonis smiled. He knew he could never hide anything from him. ’The message was delivered a week ago when I was still a demigod. So he is always watching over me, huh? Thank you for believing in me, master. I shall always follow you as your faithful knight even if the whole heaven turns against you.’

Viktor’s POV::::

To perform a naming ritual, one must sacrifice a mortal, an immortal or a god that the candidate is close to. Means, to complete the naming ritual, one must sacrifice someone he is close to.

But the situation was different for the kid which Viktor was taking care of. The little boy had never seen any person besides Viktor in his entire 10 years of life. So Viktor had to think of a different plan.

’From the record of a demigod, I found out it’s also possible to summon someone blood-related to the candidate if he doesn’t know anyone. Thus, Viktor planned to tell the kid about his family history 7 days before his birthday.

Knock! Knock!

Viktor leaned to the door and saw the kid watching cartoons on a floating screen projected by Uranium. Hearing the sound, the kid turned back and saw Viktor, standing by the door.

"Viktor, weren’t you busy in your room?" The kid asked in curiosity because it was Viktor’s study hour and he doesn’t usually come out of his room until morning.

"I got bored." He approached the kid and sat on the floor to watch cartoons as well. Looking at the screen, he said, "Isn’t this WALL-E? I used to watch this as well when I was 13 or something. This movie will always have a special place in my heart."

The kid looked at him and asked, "Viktor, so how old are you now?"

"Woh.. that was out of nowhere." After laughing awkwardly he whispered into his ears which made him shocked.

"You don’t look old, though. Is that how immorality works?"

"Immortal means you won’t die or age. But it doesn’t make you invincible. You might regenerate quickly but if your opponent gets his hand on your base part of your immortality, it’s game over."

"I see..." Both of them turned their attention to the movie and after a few minutes, the kid spoke.

"Viktor, my 10th birthday is in a week."

"I know."

"So, about my name."

"I know. I have already thought about it."

"Then, can I have your surname?"

Viktor looked at him in surprise and asked, "You want to have your surname, ’North’?"

"Why? Aren’t we a family?"

After a minute of silence Viktor said, "Kid, when your naming ceremony will complete, you will become a demigod. A very wise demigod who can rule a huge territory. Are you sure you want this useless name?"

"No, your name isn’t something useless. It’s beautiful and I want to have it as well just like Uncle Adonis."

"Ptff!!!! Uncle Adonis? Ahahahah! You’ve never seen Adonis in real life and you already made him your uncle?"

"Why? Aren’t you guys brothers?"

"Hm? I guess? We are more than just brothers, kid. If you really want it, I guess I will give you my name."
