As a demigod of records, messing with one’s memory was one of the basic things Viktor could do. From creating new memories to altering one’s whole personality was nothing but child play to him.

But he didn’t want to use his power for guild missions. He wanted to use the powers recorded on the guild master’s information but things were getting a little tough since Akira, the otherworldly hero was here. So he used charm magic on Kiwi to make her come to him at any cost.

Because Kiwi wasn’t the type of a woman who would fall for any man’s beauty. She’d always avoided handsome men because she had a trauma of being in front of a handsome man whom she didn’t know.

But Viktor’s charm was something a mortal can’t deny. Even if he uses his charm on a male, that male would fall in love even if he had been a straight guy for his entire life.

For his charm effect, Kiwi approached Viktor and started to talk with him, using seductive hand gestures on his back.

Even Lily was surprised that Viktor managed to charm Kiwi without any effort.

To pin her down, Viktor leaned back and sent signals to his other team members to start.

At that moment, a bomb exploded which made everyone in the pub rush out.

Kiwi looked at Viktor and saw the indifferent look on his face and realised something was not wrong. She tried to pull her hand from Viktor’s back but he was heavy as stone.

Not only that, but the chair he was sitting on was also so sturdy as a rock that she couldn’t even break it. To kill her opponent, she took a knife out of her chest pocket and tried to stab Viktor.

Viktor on the other hand was enjoying his drink when he saw the knife shattered into pieces as it failed to pierce through his chest, making Akira speechless.

"W...why are you so strong!!!" Kiwi complained as she tried to get her hand out of Viktor’s grab. But little did she know a man would fly from above and aim his shiny sword towards her neck.

As she saw the man come out of the ceiling, she accelerated her body to escape but when she looked at Viktor, her eyes became frozen.

Viktor was keeping a phase with her super speed casually without wasting mana. Viktor then winked at him and de-accelerated her speed, causing their surroundings to go back to normal.

The sword went through her neck like butter and fell to the ground. The explosion caused all of the customers to leave the place before the incident took place so it was easy for them to take care of the situation.

Raven came out of the floor by breaking the wooden, sturdy floor and laughed. "Ahaha!! Oi Viktor, what charm did you use huh? Did we get the wrong information?"

Akira was on the move. He took his sword out of his dimension ring and pointed at the man who just beheaded a professor.

"What is the meaning of this?" Akira asked.

Raven looked at Akira’s face and immediately recognized him. He then walked out of the hole like a mole and appeared behind him in just a second.

"Akira, a worldly hero. It’s an honour to meet you, kid."

"Who are you?"

"Acting rudely towards your seniors when you tried to bribe the guild master to become an elite? Aren’t you aware of the guild rule? If you hurt a guild member as a guild card holder, you will receive a penalty and get stripped from your post. If a cardholder disturbs another party’s quest, if the party is your senior, then the party will have full authority to kill the person who is not minding his own business. Didn’t you agree with the conditions when you became an intermediate member of the black guild? Do you need a beating to recall in your trash brain again?"

Akira was in shock. He knew the elites of the black guild are not someone you should mess with. They are from noble or dangerous clans that live in isolated villages. They are all connected to the emperor and work directly under him. They are the ones who control political matters from the shadows and treat the emperor like a puppet.

"You’re....you’re elites...of the black guild?"

Raven pouted his lips and said, "What’s up with this annoying guy? Doesn’t he understand what’s going on? Kid, we were the one who suggested the emperor summon you guys here. You guys might think you’re the only one powerful in this world but wrong. We summoned you because..."

Before Raven could finish his sentence, Lily interpreted his speech and smacked his head.

"This darn talkative is literally saying everything. Oi Viktor, did you take off her ring? We need to send it to the guild before sunrise."

Viktor threw the ring at her and said, "I checked it a minute ago. Not only did she steal the natural treasure, but she also stole the S Rank elixir from the emperor’s vault. Please make sure the ’Lords’ don’t get any information."

Since Viktor was selected as the team leader, he ordered the ’Shadow cleaner’ to clean the mess.

Akira was still shocked to hear the elites had someone above them. They were called Lords whom he never heard of. But he was also a member of the black guild so he asked Viktor out of curiosity,

"Professor Viktor, who are those lord’s people you talked about?"

"Lord’s? They are Seat holders that control the association all over the world. We are right below them and it’s not like we get selected after some exam or whatsoever. If a ’Guild master’ who’s also known as ’Finders’ sees someone as worthy of being an elite, he will give them a card out of nowhere. That’s their duty. Well, I am surprised that you’re an intermediate member of our guild. Congratulations. But let me tell you a secret. Don’t bribe a ’Guild Master’ with money because they are stronger than you think. If you’re marked as ’Suspect’ you will not stay alive to live the next day."

Viktor smiled and stood up after finishing his drink. He then talked about something with his team members and handed over a small piece of paper.

After their conversation was over, the three of them vanished leaving Viktor behind.

He then looked at Akira and said, "Kid, let’s go. It’s almost midnight."

Somewhere deep in a forest...

A man dressed in a white robe was guarding a small old door. Behind it, there was nothing but a huge tree.

The guard was doing his job as usual and then, he saw a huge figure approaching the door slowly.

He closed his eyes partly and saw it was a man with a white mask.

The man approached the door and showed the guard his ID card. The guard saluted the man and opened the door with manners.

"Good evening, Lord. Please enjoy your stay..."

The man entered the door and vanished into the darkness. Slowly, the door closed and the last ray of light died down on the floor.

The man with the white mask then followed the mana path and after a minute, he ended up in a place where the sun was still up.

He looked around and saw the endless mountains across the land, stretching as far as it could. In the middle of the mountain terrains he looked at the huge grey castle with 7 massive statues guarding its entrance.

He noticed the others were entering so he followed them and after that, he found himself in the middle of a huge hall. The ceiling was more than 200 feet above but its interior design was so detailed and huge that he could even count how many human paintings there were.

It was clearly his first time visiting the House of Lords where all the executive members of the Black association gathered.

The man with a white mask passed his message to a man who collect reports from others and placed all of them on one of the Lord’s seats.

Soon, the hour bell rang and seven lords came out of the room. The people who were sitting below stood up and paid their respect to their lords.

One of the lords said, "Raise your head. You may take your seats."

The man who talked was no other but a hero who came from Earth 600 years ago and was now one of the seven lords who ruled the entire Erok.

So the question is, how is he still alive?

He ate a mermaid and became immortal. Not only that, but the previous king of the demon realm was also one of the lords. There was also an elf, a dwarf and a beast-man, a half-demon and a half-fairy. They were all part of the banished hero party member and happened to eat a mermaid to gain immortality.

Now, they rule the whole world without discriminating between races.

The half-elf lord raised his hand and said, "This letter I just read, may I ask for the evidence that came along with it?"

A worker placed a small box on his huge golden desk and walked away without showing his back.

The half-fairy lord opened the box and saw a small orb that had a video clip. He played the video in front of everyone and ordered the ’Finder’ to kill the girl.

The girl on the tape was nobody but the hero saint messing with everyone’s head with her charm magic.

The Lord also said, "In just a year, I want her head in front of my table."

The ’Human’ lord also agreed after seeing her do vulgar acts. He then said, "It was necessary to summon heroes but they should act like heroes if they don’t want to get cursed by the system. We should call the elites to teach them manners before we proceed with our main plan. But the saint has crossed the line so she should be executed soon."

People started to murmur as they heard the Lord’s statement and went back to their workplace after each of them reported their mouthy reports to the lord one by one.
