Adonis’s POV:

’The nectar machine progress is 5% completed. I don’t know how long it will take to finish but my master seems to have a different plan in his mind. After working for over a day, my master went back to study. I am sure he is still reading someone’s record with absolute concentration but that’s what I’m worried about.’

’Because when he does that, something big or peculiar happens afterwards. I don’t know what is going to happen but let’s prepare for the worst-case scenarios. I should go and drag those battle maniac brats from the battlefield.’

Adonis then teleported in front of Welis who was observing their fight. She was using invisibility but still, it caught Adonis’ eyes.

Adonis said, "How long has it been since they decided to fight with some random demigods from the upper realm?"

Welis startled a bit and then said, "Sir Adonis, when did you come here?"

"Just now."

"Oh, you scared the soul out of me. I thought some enemy had spotted me."

"You’re so far away from them. So don’t worry. I heard that you are working as a referee. How is their progress?"

"Sir Ifrit has killed 210 immortals in the last 3 hours. Sir Mors is fighting 1V2. His opponent is 2 demigods from the upper realm. For some reason, sir Ifrit is avoiding demigods."

"That’s because the enemy is using holy magic attacks and he does not have resistance to it. He will die or be gravely injured if one lands on him."

"I see. But what brings Sir Adonis here? Did sir leave Lord Viktor’s side?"

"I am here on my own accord. Master is inside his library realm so I don’t want to bother him. But I sense something is about to happen. So I want the others to stay alert."

"Is someone coming? Should I warn them through telepathy?"

"It would be helpful if you do that. Moreover, don’t stay in one place for a long time. There are some jerks who throw people like football in the sky."

At that moment, an immortal flew all the way to Welis and dropped near her. Then the body slowly started to vanish and turned into dust.

Welis was dumbfounded to see that near her.

Adonis then said, "See? He died that easily. Be careful out here if you don’t want to go through your reincarnation circle again."

"I..I will try my best to avoid everyone, sir Adonis."

Adonis sighed and hushed, ’What am I going to do with those battle maniacs? Now I need to go back to my master and hear his thoughts. I don’t know what is going to happen but I should stay by his side.’

Adonis then quickly flew to his master and landed on an invisible platform above the ground. He then saw his master getting out of his library realm. He looked annoyed so Adonis asked, "Master, is there something wrong?"

’I didn’t know what was going on inside my mind but when he told me to go and said that we are expecting a guest, my heart escaped a beat. But I couldn’t ask any question related to the matter so I simply bowed my head and went to the place where my master told me to go.’

Adonis stood in front of the garden gate of Tali’s territorial garden. The garden was decorated with fine plants and the most attractive attraction was the golden grape tree. It was supposed to be Tali’s secret garden which nobody is allowed to enter but Adonis somehow walked in there without any problem.

The security magic spells were so useless that Adonis didn’t even notice. It wasn’t worth his attention.

"This place is not bad. I should take some before the guest arrives."

Adonis was a gentle demon but Viktor’s influence changed him. He just robbed everything in the garden that looks expensive and precious. He then put everything inside his dimension room and said, "What a nice day it is..."

And then, a magic circle formed at the centre of the garden. It was a teleportation circle but it was a little different from what Adonis uses. So he memorized it and then looked at the forming body of someone.

Adonis then felt the holy aura from that man’s body. It was pure, kind and it was opposite from his. He immediately knew what kind of being it was.

’It’s an angel, a being that is born from the purest soul of all. But what business does it have with my master? Is someone plotting anything on his back? I need to look into it.’

After that, Adonis took him to his master beside the great lake. He was waiting for them but when the angel reached him, he started to act weird.

’Is he sick? Why is he breathing so heavily?’

Adonis looked at his master and said, "Master, what is going on?"

"A curse."

"Curse?" Adonis was shocked to hear that a holy being can get cursed by someone. So he again said, "Don’t angels have resistance to any curse?"

"Yes, but it’s a different case if the angel is a god’s or a demigod’s servant. His master can curse him and also kill him even if he’s so much more powerful than him. I believe his curse started to work when he left his master’s side and had some thoughts about betraying him."

Adonis looked at the sick angel and tried to use curse-lifting magic on him. But since he was a demon, his magic didn’t enter his body.

"I’m using a damn healing magic. Why isn’t it working?"

"Angels have high resistance to demonic aura. Try using your holy magic. It will work."

Adonis thought about something for a second and then said, "No, master. You heal him. I don’t want to experiment on this rare test subject. He is too precious."

"As you wish."

Viktor then used his curse-lifting magic on that trembling angel stuck to the ground. His body was filled with various curses depending on so many written conditions. The most terrifying curse embroidered on his body was the one placed on his heart. It was a word curse, more of a time bomb. If the person speaks of some secret related to his master, the curse would trigger and explode on the spot before he could even speak.

The second one was on his right eye. It was a curse that prevented him from using the eye of truth on anyone.

"His body was filled with curse spells. We’re lucky that we didn’t ask him anything before the purification. Or else, he would explode like a nuclear bomb."

Adonis was stunned to hear that. ’I had no idea that I bought something dangerous near my master.’

"Don’t think like that. I told you to bring him to me, didn’t I? Don’t blame yourself for such things. Now can you pick him up? His face is getting covered with mutt."

"Understood, master. Shall I take him to our camp?"

"Yes. He’s going to wake up soon. He is just exhausted from carrying all those heavy curses in his body."

Adonis then took the angel inside the camp to put him on a bed. He looked at his wings and saw they looked similar to his, but that was just his assumption. In reality, both of their wings were the same and the only difference was the colour.

Adonis’ wings were white with slightly golden bits of aura decorated like icing sugar on a cake. On the otherhand, the angel’s wings were purely golden.

The texture, wings’ form and everything were the same. Someone else also caught his eye. Adonis has a hollow above his head but he keeps them hidden with invisibility magic.

But the angel didn’t have one above his head. Instead, he had one around his right hand like the rings around Saturn. It formed around his hand after Viktor lifted his curses. Before that, he didn’t have any.

Viktor then walked in and said, "Adonis, I’m feeling hungry."

"I will go and prepare your dinner. What do you want to eat?"

"Something spicy. Oh, prepare something for him too. He should be waking up by now."

"Huh?"

Adonis looked at the angel and saw that it was slightly moving. He slowly opened his eyes and looked at Adonis right after he came back to his senses.

He then said, "I couldn’t see your face clearly because my eyes weren’t working well for some reason back then. But now that I’ve seen your face clearly, I must say that you’re a piece of art without any doubt. Will you marry me?"

"Bwaahahahaaa!! Aaaaaahahaha!!!!!!" Viktor couldn’t stop himself from laughing out loud. He looked at Adonis with teary eyes and said, "Adonis!!!!! It’s your second marriage proposal from a man!! Aahahaha!!!! Aaaahaha!!!"

’My master has lost it...’ Adonis then shook his head and said, "Please stop laughing, master. I don’t have any interest in men. And you!" Adonis looked at the angel and said, "I can’t accept a man’s proposal even if they are attractive. And I think you’re forgetting about something. Why did you come to Helsia to meet my master? What is your objective?"

The angel finally came back to his senses and his expression changed. He then knelt in front of the man who was laughing like a jerk and said, "I am Yir, a loyal servant of Elesis Siris, the demigod of knowledge."

Viktor stopped laughing after hearing that. The atmosphere inside the camp changed because of Viktor’s sudden change of mood.

He then said, "What do you want, archangel Yir?"

Adonis was flabbergasted to hear that he was an archangel. He wasn’t some ordinary angel flapping his wings around like a fly.
