Chapter 192: Lucifer’s new interest

Somewhere in the realm of gods.

Elesis and his servant walked past the border of the territory of Lucifer in a rush. He was angry because Lucifer didn’t let him read the letter from his brother so he wanted to see that for himself.

He decided to go and visit Viktor to ask him about it. Since he was also in the sky realms now, meeting him wasn’t difficult for him.

But his servant Yir didn’t agree with his plan. Even though Elesis was much stronger than Viktor, he didn’t like the fact that he was going to see him. He was his enemy after all. A cunning one at that.

So he said, "Master, what will you ask your brother after you visit him?"

Elesis stopped walking. He then turned back and looked at the face of his servant with his eyes filled with rage. He then grabbed his golden hair and pulled his head closer to his. "Who do you think I am?"

"M..my master."

"And what are you?"

"Your slave.."

"Yes. So make sure that you know your place well. A slave should shut its mouth and never say anything against its master."

"I..I will remember it well from now on. Please forgive me." A drop of golden tears came out of his eyes. It reached the servant’s chin and then fell to the ground.

The tear quickly took the form of a rose plant which was filled with golden roses. It was the tear of an angel that can cure any illness.

Yir was an angel born in the realm of gods. Usually, an angel is born from the purest soul that had lived in the mortal realm. They are loyal, kind and they are at the peak of holiness. They are also known as the golden phoenix of the sky because of their stunning appearance. Their golden hair, golden eyes and a pair of golden wings decorate their appearance so appallingly that nobody can take their eyes off once they see an angel.

Yir, an angel came out of the door of the realm of god and was taken away by the god of the sun so many years ago. He was also named by that god and served him for so many years. But when the other servants started to take over his post, the god of the sun kicked him out because he was no longer needed. He was the lowest class angel so nobody took him in after that.

But when Elesis first came to Helsia, he noticed him and immediately took him in as his servant. Yir was happy at first but when Elesis started to show his true colours, he was frustrated. He couldn’t even leave him because he made an oath. So Yir was forever stuck with him.

Yir then looked at Elesis and thought, ’I wish he could just kill me. I want to die so badly. I don’t think I could help myself any longer. But this huge load is pushing me down. I don’t mind if I go through another reincarnation circle once again. I just want to rest in peace... I want to leave ...’

Elesis looked back and said, "I will never let you go even if you die. I will search through the entire universe just to find your soul and make you mine once again. You can never leave my grasp."

Yir looked at the ground and kept following Yir to reach the lower sky realms. He knew his master could read his mind but sometimes, he couldn’t help but speak out loud inside his mind.

Yir then put a smile on his frustrated face and said, "How can I leave my master alone?"

Elesis chuckled and replied, "You’re bad at lying."

Yir didn’t respond to his answer and kept his forced smile on his face.

Elesis was travelling through the realm stairs instead of the gates. He knew his brother was no longer a guardian so he had to keep himself hidden. He knew he could see anyone’s records so he had to use the stairs to go below.

The stairs of the sky realms are massive. It’s like the spine of a huge snake stretched from up and down by connecting all the realms. Once a person gets inside, he has to walk an extremely long way to reach one realm to another. Also, it’s a place that hides the presence of a god or a demigod automatically so criminals take shelter here. So realm stair is home to all criminals who hide from heavenly guardians.

Elesis took the stairs instead of the gate to hide his presence from Lucifer. He knew Lucifer was keeping an eye on him so he took the quickest way to his brother. He was also worried that Lucifer and Viktor might plot something behind his back so he had to make sure that everything was alright. Also, he didn’t want to be found out that he took the spouse request from Lucifer before the tournament so he decided to talk with his brother even though they were enemies.

He then said, "Why do I have to shake hands with my other self? Can’t I just kill him today and take over his body?"

Yir replied, "No, master. You can’t kill him now because it’s too late. I’ve warned you multiple times that you should do it quickly if you want to or else, he might get too strong and make connections with others. Now that he has contacted Lord Lucifer, I’m afraid that you can no longer lay a finger on him."

What Yir said was right. If Elesis didn’t waste any time and devoured Viktor before he went to the underworld for his naming ceremony, he wouldn’t have to go through this problem. Since Lucifer has taken a liking to him too, Elesis can no longer harm him. Because he was then under Lucifer’s surveillance.

But in reality, his thoughts were wrong. Lucifer isn’t a person who supports any demigod before his succession tournament. He likes entertainment, chaos and things that caught his eye or help him gain strength.

If Elesis was alone, he would never take him in and give him the authority to use his name to do whatever he wants. Lucifer gave him that opportunity to entertain himself and kept him alive for the bigger picture. He wanted to see which one of the twin brother wins the fight. But who knew the youngest one would drop a bomb on his old toy?

When Elesis heard that a letter was sent to Lucifer from his brother, his heart nearly skipped a beat. He wanted to see what the letter contained but Lucifer didn’t let him see. Also, the unknown things that the box contained successfully sacrificed his mental peace so he immediately decided to meet his brother and take his life if possible.

But Yir didn’t agree with his plan and tried to stop him from going. He tried to tell his master that it was dangerous to mess with him now since Viktor was Lucifer’s new interest.

Yir then again said, "Master, I don’t think your brother will believe you. You’ve already made a bad first impression before. If you appear in front of him out of nowhere, he will be wary of you no matter how much you want him to trust you."

"I don’t want his trust, Yir. I want his core. I want to devour him as soon as possible before the water spreads further."

Yir exhaled in frustration and replied, "I don’t think that would work, master."

Meanwhile Viktor beside the great lake of Helsia...

"Master, are you sure this machine would work accurately? Don’t you think you need to change the accelerator’s structure a little?"

Adonis pointed at a machine’s arm and again said, "If you install it like this, it won’t be able to move 130° as it should be. It might get stuck in the middle of the process."

Viktor looked at the machine he was preparing to start making nectar potion. He then analysed the whole blueprint that he made and came up with a conclusion. And then, another problem was found.

"Adonis, if we change it, we have to change the huge glass tank’s shape-_-."

"Oh-_-."

"But we can change it and set a magic spell slab instead of the accelerator section. Asonis, do you have that liquid mana pen that I gave you some years ago?"

"I have, but I used most of its ink for making an incubator for hatching the dragon egg."

"Dragon??.. wait, you still have that dragon inside your dimension room?"

"No, we ate them all-_-."

"Oh-_-."

Adonis then gave him the mana pen and again said, "So that means, we need to throw this whole part from this tank? Can I have it? It’s so sturdy and made from black iron. Not to mention, it’s made by my master."

"Yea, you can have it. But use it after I finish my work. I might need some of its part in the middle of this process."

"Understood."

Adonis then took away a huge metallic machine from a huge glass tank and put it inside his dimension room. They were so concentrated on their work that they didn’t even notice that half of the forest was gone. Tali was fighting with Kobayashi with 10 of his close companions from the upper realm.

Kobayashi on the otherhand had called his loyal servants from the realm of gods to assist him. The fighting on the battlefield was so intense that the ground was constantly shaking.

"Adonis, can you give me that bolt? It’s on that table."

Adonis walked closer to the table filled with so many screws and bolts that he couldn’t understand which one his master asked for. He turned his head back and said, "Is this one, master?"

"No, I need a smaller one."

He then went to another table to look for what his master asked and that time, a woman flew and crashed on the table. Adonis became furious. He then grabbed that woman’s collar and said, "Oi, do you know what you have done?"

The woman coughed out some blood from her mouth and said, "All hail the lord!"

Shap!!!!!!!

Adonis slapped the woman so hard to make her come back to her senses and again asked, "Who’s your lord?"

"Lord Tali."

Adonis then grabbed her collar harder and threw her so hard that she flew far away like a shooting star. Some of her hair failed to react to the speed so it remained in the same place, floating in the air.

All Viktor wanted was a bolt to attach a steel frame. But what Adonis did, made him speechless. He then mumbled, ’He is throwing people like balls in the sky now.’
