Chapter 182: Naming Ceremony. Part 6

Inside Viktor’s illusion barrier...

Adonis pulled Viktor’s shoulders and screamed, "Master, what happened to you? Why is your body filled with wounds? Let me heal them for you."

"Adonis.."

"No, master. Please stay still." Adonis then created his best healing magic spell and cast it on his body. But no matter how much he tried, none of his wounds disappeared. His healing magic wasn’t working on him at all.

"Adonis.."

"Master wait." Adonis then took a healing potion out of his dimension pocket and again said, "Please drink this. This might work from the inside."

"Adonis!!!"

Adonis was shocked to hear Viktor screaming out his name. He looked at Viktor’s eyes and saw a cold gaze. He was trying to say something to him but Adonis was disrupting him.

"Please..continue.." Adonis respectfully bowed and became silent.

"Name is a manipulative god that targets demigods to become his servant. When he uses his pen to draw name circles, he secretly draws manipulation magic given by someone very powerful. That magic circle is the reason why all maidens abide by him. They are all under his spell."

"What..what do you mean?" Adonis asked.

"Listen carefully, Adonis. You’re going to attain the ceremony in just 30 minutes. First of all, when you’re inside the hell water, make sure to take Qi inside your Qi core as much as you can. It will modify your divine Qi core and help you become a god sooner than anyone. Second, let him draw as much as he can on your body. And lastly, you should summon Sho for your final ceremony. Remember, this is a realm that mortals call the afterlife. No matter how far they are, once they are dead, they will be all summoned to the realm of gods. Besides, once they are dead, they all become immortals. So don’t worry and just summon Sho. She’s your good friend after all."

Adonis nodded and then asked, "But master, what about your wounds?"

"They will heal after a week. Don’t worry." Viktor tapped on his shoulder and again said, "Good luck with your naming ceremony. I’ll be cheering for you."

The illusion barrier then vanished.

...

Every soul is made from the essence of the void. It doesn’t matter if the soul’s vessel is mortal or immortal. Every soul has its end and it will walk the path of reincarnation or the start of the divine Qi stage.

When a normal mortal dies, they go to the god of the realm or hell after their judgement. It’s a place where they will live forever under the protection of that god to which they had devoted their trust into. It doesn’t matter if it is evil or good. If it’s a god or a demigod, they will live forever in peace and serve them.

The terms of hell are a little different.

When a mortal soul is sent to hell, they will be forced to work to build dungeons, mazes and so many other things. They are never treated as a being.

If a mortal soul dies again in hell or heaven by someone else, they will be again sent back to the mortal world as a baby to repeat their reincarnation circle.

It also applies to all gods who died at the hands of other gods. They are all sent back to the human realm to live through all mortal reincarnation circles until it ends. Then he will be born into the gate realm or the realm below the guardian realm.

This is where they will again work hard to achieve their divine qi again and attain the naming ceremony to fix their name.

It’s an excessively long way to cross.

Also, achieving the divine Qi is annoying. Not just anyone can achieve it. It takes time, patience, determination and strength.

Normally, divine Qi is divided into 10 stages.

1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, primary stage, normal stage, grand stage, upper grand stage, sage stage, and the last one is heavenly stage.

It may look like there are only 10 stages but it’s wrong. One stage is divided into 100 levels and one must break through every level to reach the next stage.

Cultivating divine Qi is a slow-phased process so one has to have so much patience. Or else, he will just die and be sent back to the mortal realm.

After Viktor’s naming ceremony, he had his 2nd stage divine Qi awakened. Because of his modified divine Qi, reaching that stage wasn’t that hard.

Not only that, but he also advised Adonis to do the same because the tournament was close. They had to reach at least 4 more stages before they could participate in the tournament. Or else, their head would get cut off by the other participants.

Viktor was in a hurry.

Back to the present time...

Adonis walked down from the platform after sacrificing Sho to the god of the name. He also fought back with the Name’s manipulation magic to save himself from becoming a pawn. He wanted to know if Viktor was satisfied with the result so he teleported in front of him and knelt. He then said, "Master, how is my body now? Are you happy with it?"

Viktor glared at the dark, powerful and huge divine Qi of Adonis around his heart. It was nearly the 2nd stage but he needed to break through more than 3 levels to reach his goal. But still, it was enough to fight with the god of metals who lives above the mortal realm.

Viktor smiled and said, "You did great, Adonis. Now Mors, it’s your turn."

Mors grinned and said, "I won’t lose to you, Adonis. I’ll show you how powerful my core is since I’m a born demigod. I can strike the 3rd stage without any problem."

Adonis chucked and replied, "We will see about that."

Viktor looked at Name’s face and saw the disappointed expression. It was already disgusting and his expression was making it worse. He was annoyed that none of his spells was working on them. He wasn’t happy that demigods with so much potential were sliding off his grasp. So this time, he decided that he’d use the manipulative spells on Mors. He knew Mors was the son of a formal god of death. His performance would reach the sky after some years so Name wanted to make him his servant.

Just like she did to Ifrit, he wanted Mors as well to assist him in the great war that they secretly plotted. But who knew Mors would never get affected by his spells?

Mors mother was the formal god of death. Once, she had ruled the entire god of realm alone. Her servants were all big gods and there was no sign of mortals in her palace. When Mors was born, she locked his soul with so many spells to hide his existence.

After his seals were unlocked, he was able to wield so much powerful magic. As the son of death, he already had so much resistance to mental attack spells. So Name’s manipulation spells were bugs to him.

Name was disappointed.

At that moment, Viktor said, "Well, our naming ceremony has come to an end. We would like to continue our journey. Name, please open the gate to the upper mortal realm. We need to reach the realm of gods as soon as we can."

Name hesitated at first. Then he thought about something and said, "Well then, I will now open a gate to the first immortal realm. You can always find the way to the village if you walk a little from there. Have a safe trip, my child."

The gate to the upper mortal realm appeared in front of them. The gate wasn’t as big as Viktor expected. It was small, dark looking and broken. But he could feel the aura so he was sure it was the path to the realm that they requested.

So he said, "Let’s go, everyone. We need to settle in that village for a few years."

At that moment, Viktor looked at Ifrit standing behind Name. He was being manipulated by him so he didn’t want to go. He said, "You guys go ahead. I will catch up to you later."

But Ifrit was Viktor’s servant. He had a slave seal on his chest that Name didn’t notice. He thought that he could stop Ifrit from going with him so he said, "My child. As you can see, Ifrit doesn’t want to go because he misses home."

Viktor smiled and then glared at Ifrit. "Ifrit. Who is your master?"

His slave seal triggered his memories to answer forcefully, "You’re my master."

"Then, let go of his hands and take mine."

Ifrit’s mind manipulation magic broke because of Viktor’s slave spell. It was more powerful than Name’s spell so he just ran to Viktor and hid behind his back like a child.

Name was shocked.

Viktor then smiled and said, "We will take our leave now, have a nice day, Name."

Suddenly, Name closed the door to the upper mortal realm before they could leave. Then he said, "Nobody is leaving. Angus, lock them up in the dungeon!!"

Viktor then waved at Name and showed him his middle finger. "I have stolen every plant from your garden. Have fun collecting them again by bribing your hidden wife." Viktor and the others simply teleported from the underworld by leaving Name alone.

Since he can’t leave the realm, he couldn’t do anything to capture them. They ran away by mowing his garden off the mud. His thousand years of hardwork just vanished in the blink of his eyes.
