Chapter 53: 53 - Third Visit

(Kaiser’s POV)

Jin, Khan, and Brock went on to the silver rank prize room.

And me—I’m back to the copper rank prize room for the third time.

"Wow... It’s you again."

The servant from my previous two visits here greeted me again.

"Yeah, aren’t you happy to see me?"

I said. Then without waiting for his response...

"I’ll skip everything and claim my rewards, I already know the process after all. I want more time to enjoy this place."

I added that.

"I mean... Sure."

He responded as he looked at the list in his hands, searching for my name.

"Kaiser, right?"

"Mhm."

I nodded my head.

I just stood there in silence waiting for him to find my name, and not long...

"...!"

I saw his eyes widen and his head snap in my direction violently. It was creepy, really.

’Looks like I got a decent amount this time as well.’

The corners of my lips threatening to rise as I thought of that.

"You got twenty battle points this time!"

The servant exclaimed at me. I just shrugged my shoulders at him.

"That’s good, I guess."

"Good?! This is amazing, you don’t get it!"

He shouted as he grabbed my shoulders and shook me. He looks triggered as fuck, lol.

And here I am, just looking at him with a calm smile. I’m obviously rage-baiting him.

This time, I know that twenty battle points is big. If I do what I did for the past month, I’ll have 5 more extra battle points.

I can already use that in a lot of things.

"Calm down, it’s nothing that big."

I said. And after hearing me—

"Wha...?!"

The servant looked shook. It seems like he really wants to scream. Though, he regained his calm not long after.

"Ugh... Whatever..."

He mumbled with a deep frown on his face. Then opening his mouth again and looking at me from the side...

"I’ve already credited the twenty battle points to your name, you can use them immediately later."

He explained that to me.

"Now follow me, it’s time to look through Degula’s belongings."

The servant then followed as he turned his back against me, he still looks annoyed.

"..."

I just silently walked behind him with a smile on my face.

I’m now standing in front of a white cloth laid on the floor full of Degula’s items.

"Feel free to take whatever you want."

The servant told me as he stepped aside to make way. I just nodded to him and brought my attention back to the items.

"..."

I quickly scanned through every single one of them, but nothing really caught my attention. Nothing piqued my interest.

And so, I picked what was on my mind ever since my fight with Degula yesterday ended—

"I’ll take his greatsword."

I declared with a straight look on my face.

"Huh? Could you even use it?"

The servant asked, squinting his eyes at me.

"I don’t know, let’s try."

I placed my hands on the greatsword’s hilt, and after arching my back a bit... I pulled up as hard as I could!

Swish~

"Ugh...!"

Fwip—

I was able to lift it, though—

’It’s heavy as fuck...!’

I could get into a stance, but I can’t swing it. My hands aren’t shaking, but I can’t move them well.

Though, catching a glimpse at the servant...

"...!"

I saw him staring at me all surprised, I guess he didn’t expect a child to be able to lift a greatsword.

To be honest, I’m surprised I was able to lift this too. Roughly estimating—this is about 3 kilograms.

It might not sound heavy, but trust me... Holding it from one end with that kind of weight is already enough to make most people sprain their wrists just by trying to lift it up.

"I’ll take this."

I repeated as I turned to the servant. He looked me in the eyes, and after that—

"Whatever, you do you."

He just said that, waving off his hand casually.

Me—I stared at the greatsword in my hand.

"..."

A smile rose on my face.

It’s not as heavy as what I got from Jin.

’I can use this.’

I thought to myself. But before that...

’Let’s get a bit more stronger.’

I separated from the servant after I got all of my rewards. I made him send the greatsword back to my room so I don’t have to bring it with me later.

And after that... I started eating at the all-you-can-eat buffet at the entrance of the prize room. I ate a bunch of meat, they all taste good, and they’ll help me build muscles and strength too.

I didn’t stop until my stomach seemed like it was going to explode.

I rested a bit after eating, then with all that done—it’s finally time to do the most important thing here.

"It’s time to take a bath... I haven’t had one for a month now, for fuck’s sake."

I grumbled as I headed to the bath area.

Being my third time here, I got to my destination not long after. I took off my shirt—and it revealed my body.

I’m still small and kind of skinny. But still, I’m getting muscles now, my body is taking form.

’I need new clothes.’

I thought as I entered the pool.

I relaxed my body, letting out a tired sigh. The water is a bit warm, and it’s not really the cleanest.

But I’m already used to it... It’s way better than not being able to take a bath.

"..."

I looked around and checked my surroundings. There are more than ten people in here, the most I’ve seen before.

A frown then appeared on my face as I was looking left and right, after all...

"Some weird events happen whenever I’m here in the bath area."

I mumbled to myself.

The first, I got into a fight with Barnus.

Second, I met Viktor.

’I wonder what’ll happen this time.’

I saw a man about the age of mid-twenties walking toward me. My frown deepened.

An arrogant look in his eyes was looking down at me.

And when he got to me—

"You’re that kid, Kaiser, right?"

The man asked that.

"Nah, you got the wrong person. It’s that guy."

Then I lied with a straight face and pointed at a guy taking a bath with a metal dipper in his hands. He was massive, bulging with muscles, and had a tattoo on his back, looks like engravements or whatever.

"Oh, okay. Thanks."

The man then responded to me with a smile and headed to the guy I pointed at.

"..."

I just looked at him go away.
