Chapter 112: Chapter 112: Munni, Don’t Make Me Jealous
Mr. Xu found the dishes he ordered a bit too strong in flavor; after tasting a few bites, he put down his chopsticks and took a few sips of hot tea.
Qin Muni glanced up and saw him drinking tea, instinctively expressing concern, "What’s wrong, not to your liking?"
Mr. Xu curled his lips, "Yeah, a bit."
Qin Muni lowered her head, placing some food in her bowl, but five seconds later, she couldn’t help but put down her chopsticks, picked up the tablet on the table to order a lighter dish for Mr. Xu, and then, not too amused, said, "Don’t come back blaming me if you feel unwell later."
Her awkward attitude made Mr. Xu chuckle, "Munni, you’re really nice."
Qin Muni raised her eyes with disdain, glanced at him, and swiftly lowered her gaze again. Her long, curled lashes masked the fleeting panic in her peach blossom eyes.
The three of them spent nearly an hour having dinner, and Fujino Doxu wiped his mouth contentedly afterward.
Then suddenly, in the quiet private room, the melodious sound of a piano emerged. He quickly took out his phone, glanced at the caller ID, did not answer the call, but instead mischievously smiled at Qin Muni.
"Munni, I have to leave for something else."
"Go ahead, go ahead, remember to contact me when you’re done."
Fujino Doxu nodded, affectionately reached out to stroke Qin Muni’s head, then looked at Mr. Xu sitting opposite, and said politely, "Mr. Xu, I’m leaving first."
Mr. Xu nodded, "Be careful on the way." Yet inside his heart silently shouted... hurry and leave!
After Fujino Doxu left the room, Qin Muni also intended to leave. When she picked up the tablet on the table to pay the bill, Mr. Xu was quicker and snatched the tablet from her.
As he took out his card and swiped it gently on the tablet, he seemed absent-minded as he said, "It seems you and Mr. Fujino have quite a good relationship."
The jealousy in his heart was too intense, so much so that despite his efforts to conceal it, he couldn’t prevent the acidic undertone from leaking out.
Qin Muni slightly curved her red lips, an enigmatic smile flickering in her peach blossom eyes.
"What do you think, isn’t Fujino great? I’m thinking of keeping him."
Mr. Xu’s action lightly paused, then he leisurely put the card back in his bag, stood up, picked up the wool coat from the chair beside him and put it on, then walked up to Qin Muni, saying slightly helplessly, "Don’t be silly."
Qin Muni also stood up, picked up her coat and put it on, then slightly lifted her head to look at Mr. Xu, who was much taller than her, her peach blossom eyes curving into the shape of a crescent moon.
She then parted her red lips and said, "Fujino’s physique is quite nice too, I’m really looking forward to seeing him cook for me naked."
An aura of slight coldness seeped into Mr. Xu’s brows and eyes; he slowly reached out his right hand, gently tucking Qin Muni’s long hair by her ear.
He lowered his gaze, directly meeting Qin Muni’s beautiful eyes, his deep eyes seemingly flowing with moonlight, emitting a mesmerizing, captivating glow.
"Munni, let’s change the topic, stop talking about irrelevant people."
The low, hoarse voice faintly carried a hint of danger.
However, Qin Muni shook her head, refuting, "Fujino is very important to me."
Mr. Xu slowly withdrew his hand, his face enshrouded in dazzling light, a noble and elegant faint smile slowly formed at the edge of his delicate, thin lips. That smile was gorgeous yet icy, like a poppy, blooming with an exquisite yet deadly beauty.
"Munni, don’t make me jealous. You should know, if I want someone to disappear, it’s a very simple matter."
