After returning to her room, Munni collapsed onto the bed. The words Yisen had just said while cupping her face reverberated in her mind: "Because I fucking love you!"

Liang Ziyuan walked to the window, putting away his playful expression, and patted Xu Yisen on the shoulder with sincerity, saying, "Since you’ve decided to marry her, treat her well."

Xu Yisen did not reply, turning his back to gaze at the deep night outside, an unfathomable light flickering in his dark eyes.

"By the way, does Yu Ge know about your engagement to Munni?"

"Mm."

"Did she...say anything?"

"She wished me happiness."

Their conversation reached Munni, who stood outside the door, without missing a word. She lowered her head, staring at the floor in deep thought.

That night, Xu Yisen was also seldom drunk. Liang Ziyuan helped Xu Yisen to the guest room and, before leaving, raised his eyebrows mischievously at Munni, "I’ve created an opportunity for you, stay and take care of Yisen tonight."

Munni rolled her eyes, feigning impatience as she waved him off, signaling him to leave quickly.

After Liang Ziyuan left, Munni went to the bathroom to wring out a towel, then returned to the room to carefully wipe Xu Yisen’s face, and then cleaned his hands.

Finally, she placed the towel on the bedside table and sat at the edge of the bed, staring with a complex expression at Xu Yisen, who was already asleep.
