Chapter 508: Chapter 508: Le Qin Wants to Get into Real Estate
Ji Yang found Le Qin when he was talking to several people.
Ji Yang saw that those people were actually local government officials, which made him somewhat puzzled.
Le Qin trotted over and said, "These are people I knew before. They’re now working for the government and discussing real estate issues, mentioning that many people have come here to buy houses to live in."
Ji Yang asked in confusion, "Isn’t there a war? And yet people are still buying houses?"
"In places where houses can’t be sold, there’s always a market, but as long as it’s a stable area, especially the regions we are in, there’s a guarantee of safety, and everyone wants to live here."
Ji Yang somewhat understood. People had come to these safe areas from places of conflict; naturally, they would want to settle down, which would also push up the housing prices.
"What do you mean by that?"
"They know I have connections with Hua Country, so they asked if it’s possible to seek investment."
Ji Yang’s interest was piqued, and he looked towards Le Qin.
Looking at the Myanmar people gazing over from a distance, Ji Yang’s ideas became even clearer.
"Le Qin, if we go into real estate, could it help you support some people?"
Le Qin whispered, "That’s what I was thinking. The construction industry needs a lot of workers. If we get construction jobs, those men can enter the workforce, and then we’ll have a large group under our control."
The young man seemed to have his own ideas.
Thinking about the money he had yet to spend, Ji Yang said, "How much capital is needed to get it started?"
"We just need some initial startup capital. We can also adopt the presale system from Hua Country, which they have discussed with me."
"Alright, I’ll find someone to invest. Put in fifty million as startup capital, and you handle everything as the agent with a 55% stake. You can use the rest of the shares to operate."
Le Qin of course knew the money must be Ji Yang’s, and he would not dare to tamper with Ji Yang’s funds; he was aware of Ji Yang’s capabilities.
"Boss, rest assured, I will take care of this matter."
"Good, besides real estate, any profitable venture is worth trying. Handle the development here on your own; I can’t help you much."
"With money, many things can be accomplished. Besides, with foreign investment, they won’t dare to mess around."
Ji Yang intended to invest here using his identity from Harbor City.
"Okay, this is an investment from Harbor City, by an investment company called Xingyuan Investment. Their people won’t interfere with your management; you will act as their agent in charge of this investment company’s operations in Myanmar."
Le Qin quickly said, "Boss, rest assured, I will do this earnestly and ensure nothing goes wrong."
Ji Yang looked at Le Qin and added, "You know the consequences if you screw up."
"I understand, don’t worry. With this support, I’ll definitely make it work."
"Don’t turn your armed men into anti-government forces; just cooperate with the government. That way, everyone is safer."
"I will."
Seeing that Le Qin had thought everything through, Ji Yang said, "Call your core people over. I want to speak with them."
Le Qin knew Ji Yang wanted everyone to be aware of his presence, which would prevent loss of control should he not be around.
Of course, Le Qin didn’t dare say too much about such matters.
In the following two days, Ji Yang focused on this. He took the fifty million dividend from Xiao Li and invested it in Xingyuan Investment’s Myanmar branch, and then further into the real estate company Le Qin was setting up.
Having taken care of this, Ji Yang was almost free of worries. He was curious as to whether Le Qin and his team could develop well. As for the fifty million investment, Ji Yang didn’t mind it much; he considered it an experiment.
