Accompanying Gao Daqing, Ji Yang arrived at Wushu Village and took him to look around the area.

With Ji Yang’s current physical strength, he had no worries about getting tired from climbing mountains. Every day, he took Gao Daqing wandering in the mountains, tiring out some of the people following them.

"The scenery is naturally good. There are several places with really nice views."

"I know you like to be involved in entertainment and film. Do you think we could develop the film industry in Qingyuan Village?"

"Didn’t Qingyuan Village build a small film city before? It didn’t seem to take off."

Ji Yang laughed, "It wasn’t an issue of it not taking off. You know, there were people who wanted to make it work before, but then it got taken over by some more lucrative businesses involving gambling and drugs, and everyone’s focus shifted."

Gao Daqing said, "That’s indeed what happened. I went to see it; the film city’s framework is good, but now it’s been left halfway finished, in limbo without further investment, turning it into a shell.

"You’ve also seen a few of our village’s sights. If we develop those tourist spots, they can certainly bring in lots of visitors. If we get the film sector up and running on top of that, with the influx of people, isn’t making money guaranteed?"

"Big bro, tell me, what should we do?"

"I think you can totally focus on developing tourism, bringing those tourist attractions together. Then, come up with some good scripts and start filming here. Once you get a hit show, these spots will come to life."

Gao Daqing said, "I’m aware of the situation at those attractions. They all have owners. Don’t tell me the Wu Family Sisters in Wushu Village have nothing to do with you."

Ji Yang smiled and said, "You could take the lead with those attractions, setting up a large tourism company to manage them uniformly. They could join by investing, and then everyone would chip in some funds for the development. This makes it easier than if it were just one entity attempting to do it alone."

Gao Daqing frowned, deep in thought, and said, "I can handle the government side of things, but funding could be a bit difficult."

"You can start by acquiring those projects and use them as collateral for loans. I believe with your capabilities, it shouldn’t be a problem, right?"

Gao Daqing said, "Do you really think so?"

"How will you know if you don’t try?"

Seeing Gao Daqing hesitating, Ji Yang whispered, "The family that invested in the film city has wanted to sell it off for a long time now. In fact, I know a businessman from Harbor City who is interested in taking over the film city. He just lacks official backing. You could totally get involved and then incorporate the film city into your tourism company."

"Would that work?"

He had sent Cao Li to make a trip to Harbor City, and after spending a good amount of money at an agency that helps with identity documents, they also managed to set up a shell company for Ji Yang.

Now that he had this new identity, Ji Yang planned to use it to do some business.

The film city was, in fact, not doing well anymore. What was called a film city was more like an unfinished district.

"Once we turn this place into a tourist zone and attract lots of visitors, will the property here be valuable?"

Gao Daqing slapped his thigh, "Then let’s set up a joint venture company, domestic and foreign. I want the majority stake."

Ji Yang laughed and nodded, "That’s totally doable."
