Looking at Ji Yang, Guo Huaijie said, "There are so many unfinished projects in our township, and now someone is willing to take over. That’s a good thing."

Ji Yang said, "If it’s just 20 million to take over the entire project, I definitely disagree. Everyone knows that most of those projects are almost guaranteed by our township. Now that the debt has shifted to the township, even if we want to solve these issues, we need to reduce the responsibility of our township first. Taking over that project for 20 million while the township still has to shoulder a large amount of debt is definitely not acceptable."

"The higher-ups require us to resolve this issue. As long as we discuss it collectively and then report to the county, the county will definitely agree."

Guo Huaijie and his group had discussed these issues early on, and the county would not say anything once they received their memorandum.

Ji Yang thought to himself: Although that’s what’s said, if something goes wrong, I’ll still be one of those responsible. That definitely won’t work.

Thinking this, he looked at everyone and said, "Regardless of the situation, I will not agree to this method of disposal; I believe we need to offset all the debts the township has to bear first and must not leave problems for our township."

At this point, Xun Liqiang also said, "Mr. Ji Yang’s opinion makes a lot of sense. If we dispose of those projects this way, it will create significant problems." He also understood that he would certainly be the first to take responsibility and naturally did not wish for it.

Guo Huaijie said, "Taking action requires sacrifice to gain. If we all refuse this approach, firstly, a large supermarket will not materialize, and secondly, those unfinished projects will still be there. How are we supposed to solve the problem?"
